The adventurers allow you to experience each phase of the quest in great detail and provide you with each characters strengths, weaknesses and skills. Fantastic !
So cool, I’ve always been intrigued by d&d and never had the friends to play with, I grew up obsessing over the artwork and storytelling and now at least I have a podcast that makes me feel like I’m at the table playing, I’m a big fan of josh and dean from the x-files podcast, keep the adventures coming!

Perfect Experience For A Closet Nerd Like Myself
Love this podcast! As a Closet Nerd who never had nerd friends to play D&D with, this is a great alternative! The adventures are fun and immersive! The cast is witty, smooth and good at their craft! The podcast quality is first class. Nicely done, all around. I love listening to this pod in the background while working and/or driving. Great way to take your mind off of day to day issues and let it wander on these far off adventures with the Nasty crew!!

Like Pulling Up A Seat At The Table
It’s so much fun listing to the stories unfold with each episode of Nastygram. These guys love storytelling and game play and it comes through in the most engaging way.

    This Podcast Rocks!
As someone who hasn’t done RPG in a long time, this podcast makes me miss it so much. You feel like you are really around the table with these guys. The campaign is great and the players are funny, clever, and overall extremely entertaining. Whether you are an old pro or just getting into RPG, this podcast is worth the listen!

    A Hval of a Tale
Fantastic story with great role players and pacing. The exact right mix of serious character development, humorous interludes, and collaborative world building. Just what I’ve come to expect from the Liberty Street Geek Media team, great start to a new pod Josh! Spiritual successor to Harlow Falls for me. The uniquely crafted world feels lived in and vibrant with cultural and social background that is engaging and peaks my curiosity. It really shows how a veteran DM and cast of role players can collaborate to form a story. Experience and investment make the narrative entertaining and often deeply satisfying. I want the characters to grow and continue interacting almost as much or more than I want them to achieve their goal. Fantastic content

    Amazing Podcast!!
Loving the One Shot season so far, and I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for more. Great production quality while still maintaining that “You are at the table” feel. Give this one a listen, you won’t be disappointed.

    This is a review.
A tour de force! These white male heteronormative coastal elites and Matt build worlds and throw dice with equal aplomb. Are you happy now, Josh?

Great job, guys! Keep up the creative and imaginative nerdiness!

    Excellent!!
Easily the best RPG podcast I have listened to. The sound quality is excellent but the brilliance of it is that it is not over produced and makes you feel as though you could be in the room with these guys. The story develops naturally relying on the talented cast of players to drive it and they deliver each week. Simply put this podcast is a lot of fun!

    Great Jorb
Pacing is great, sound is very good. I like how the mystery is unfolding so far. Plus it hasn’t gotten bogged down in any combats, everything is flowing pretty quickly.
  • Koso Wan Kenobi
Great first choice or next choice
Smart characterization, high production value, and inspired storytelling make this a perfect podcast for people new to RPG podcasts or people just looking for the next great actual-play story. Josh sets up a rich world, and the players carry the narrative on the backs of complex and interesting characters. The whole table does well to challenge the characters’ flaws and exhibit their merits. Inspiration flows freely in this fascinating story of strangers struggling a strange land. TL;DR its nasty

Actual Play that is very intriguing
I’m hooked on this show! The players are well experienced, know how to play their characters, and the DM is definitely having fun seeing them play in his world. Excited to see where the story goes!

    Doing RPGs Right
This is some good, old-fashioned, straight-ahead RPG content! It's clear that these guys have been gaming for a while - tight and compelling storytelling in a believable, lived-in world, centered on some well-defined and intriguing characters! And to make it better, it sounds like they're really enjoying creating the podcast. Definitely worth every minute!

    RPG at its best!
In a world full of rpg/D&D podcasts (never thought I'd say that - thanks Stranger Things) this is the one I've been looking for. Most of the time you either get something so low budget it's hard to listen to (I know, everyone has to start somewhere but I've had enough Zoom audio quality to last a life time) or on that opposite end, you get radio drama - which isn't usually what I'm after. These guys are having fun and writing/playing interesting games - well worth a listen!

    Awesome!!
Was impressed at how well put together and streamlined the storytelling was! Excellent podcast.

    Great listen and good storytelling
Found this podcast while searching for something new to listen to after I got caught up to date with my other RPG podcasts and so far so good. I'm hooked on the story and can't wait to see what other games and systems this group of friends get into in the future.

This podcast is so fun to listen to!
I want to start this by saying I don’t even play D and D but I still absolutely love this podcast! You can tell these guys really care about what they”re doing and know their stuff and it comes out in how awesome the storytelling is. The characters are well thought out and the adventure is compelling. They loosely explain the game mechanics so anyone can follow along. Great listen for serious gamers or just people who like a good story! Can’t wait to see what happens to these adventurers next!
  • JRock-02
This is what I’ve been looking for!!
This is the RPG podcast I’ve needed in my life! Great gameplay, great improv, funny, not too serious and they keep it real. Keep it up guys!

    10/10
Always down to hear these guys’ thoughts and the show alone has interested me to get into RPGs finally. Well done lads.

    Finally!
JON DAVID CAUTHEN: This is the one I’ve been waiting for. I’ve known Josh through LSG Media for years. Stand up guy and talented podcaster. Wether you’re into roll playing games or not, this is an entertaining listen. Absolutely worth your time. I love a good story and that’s what you’ll get here. I’m excited to see where this goes!

    Gettin nasty with the grams!
They have done it again. Another entertaining podcast to fill your RPG lust has been released. Seasoned roleplayers Dean, Jake, Dan, Jon, and Matt face off against the macabre mind of Josh, the DM of Dread. The action is thicc. The story is bulging. The fun is throbbing. Don’t deprive yourself of the nasty!

    An RPG with friends
That’s what it feels like. This feels like you’re actually at the table with these guys, playing an RPG and it’s so fun. It’s not produced with a lot of sound effects and music, but the editing is sharp and delivers a great product. I’m really excited to see where this goes as a lover of role-playing games and a listener of other such podcasts. Josh and the guys nail this and it speaks to their prowess and histories of playing them.

    Nat 20
This new venture is a natural progression from the seed planted in the LSG universe with "Harlow Falls". The unique feeling of sitting down at the table with this group of avid gamers, from the hardcore storytelling and roleplaying to the jocular ribbing and good natured fun of a close knit group. It is clear they both have a passion for the game and a genuine interest in earnestly exploring their environment without taking it too seriously. Whether you are an experienced gamer, a reletive newcomer, or just want to be immersed in a one of a kind procedurally generated story, this pod has it all. Eagerly anticipating many, many awesome campaigns.

This podcast rolls a crit! Great show.
I’ve followed Dean and Josh on LSG’s other podcasts. When Josh said he was staring a role playing podcast I was instantly interested. After listening I’m hooked. Even if your not into role playing then imagine the best audio book read and acted by some hella good fellas. If you guys ever start a fellowship well then “ you can have my sword”.

    Pure RPG Entertainment!
The review title says it all - PURE. What does that mean? Well, when you listen to an episode of Nastygram what you are doing is embarking upon a session that puts you right at the table with the troupe. It’s not produced like an audio drama, and it’s not completely lost in rules discussions, but rather it’s an experience in which you feel like you are playing the game, participating in the story, and also enjoying some time with good friends. In that it is a pure role-playing experience. Now don’t get mixed up - the audio quality is solid, and the editing is sharp. Clearly a good product is on the mind during the recording, but that is where it’s concern for the outside world ends - like good escapism should. Pull up a chair, grab some dice, and fall into a world built on that incredible feeling of disappearing from the outside world for a little while with your friends and some awesome adventures. (Disclaimer: I frequently appear on the show, so this may not be totally objective, but what review is...?) -Dean (LSG Media)

    A Must Listen!
Nastygram is a perfect RPG podcast - high quality audio and production, well paced episodes, and a cast of guys who you can tell have been playing RPGs with each other for years. Can't wait for more episodes!

    Not an RPG, RPG Podcast
Ok, I’m really not into RPG games. But a friend insisted that there was more going on here than a bunch of Cheetos-stained geeks, hanging out in their parents basements, popping each other’s back pimples, and regurgitating old D & D packs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there’s some dice spinning going on, but these guys are all growed-up and bring an adult sense of humor to their imaginative storytelling. Sure, they sound desperately in need of female (or male, not that there’s anything wrong with it) attention, especially “Dean”, but “Josh’s” machismo, in his storytelling, really balances it out. All in all, it’s a very entertaining hour of entertainment and I highly recommend.
