Very good production quality and guests

As an conscientious interior designer who thoroughly thinks through helping clients with their residential and commercial build projects, I have learned SO much from this series (pod casts and videos) on how building science is vital to our overall comfort, health and well being - and equally as important to our environment! Just wish this methodology was standard everywhere!

Great insight & important deep dives - just stumbled on it & have forwarded it to builders I work with as well. Wish it was a zoom lesson so I could ask questions in real time!

Just found this podcast recently. I work in the general construction trade (20+ years). This has opened me up to concepts and products that strive for best practice status that I haven’t heard of before. It seems like everyone involved (including guests) deeply care about what they do and offer. That deeply resonates with me. I really appreciate what you guys are doing on Build and I hope it keeps going and growing!

This episode was very off putting. Expressing derision for and making fun of hollow core doors or other common interior architectural features is insulting to the vast majority of homeowners who go can’t afford high-end multipart solid wood base, crown and casing and custom milled solid core doors throughout. I’ve deleted the channel.

The Build Show is a must-listen podcast for any homeowner looking to deepen their understanding of building science and construction. As a non-contractor who is passionate about learning the ins and outs of the building process, this podcast is a treasure trove of valuable insights and knowledge.

I don’t how much someone can talk about “sealing” a house. I think it maybe even a case of obsession or OCD. I don’t think anyone wants to hear people talk about “penetrations” or air leaks around electrical outlets this much. Hmmm or maybe these guys are in the business of selling air handlers and dehumidifiers to keep their air tight houses from having explosions of mold blooms. And I’m the dumb one for not seeing their marketing strategy….

I’m not a contractor or professional, I’m a homeowner who had mold exposure and is looking to create a healthy home. Some things may go over my head, but I’m so appreciative of this free education on what I should be looking for. Hiring consultants adds up. The Build Show helps me understand the basics. Thank you for your work!
