My kids love Short Stories for Kids!! You can tell each story is thoughtfully crafted and the creator puts so much work into the episodes. My kids LOVED having a story including all of them. They wanted to be a mermaid, a ninja AND a dragon which is not easy to put together in one story! Bedtime is more fun and much easier with these stories!!

My daughter started listening to this at age 6 and at age 7, we decided to gift her the Premium Membership for her Birthday as she had been asking us it. She’s so happy to listen to the premium shows and I love it being interruption free. She ADORES this show and asks for it when she needs quiet time. Often at breakfast, in the car, while she is drawing, sometimes at the end of the day. There are tons of good stories. My favorite part is that sometimes my favorite stories get repeated and I love it as I get to hear them all over again. Also the storyteller uses ideas from listeners to tell her stories. 💖

Short Stories for Kids is our go to for car rides. Instead of a stream of “Are we there yet?”, my daughter is silent in the backseat because she is captivated. We’ve listened to other shows but this one is my daughter’s favorite by far. Thank you for the work you do! Stella’s story idea: Stella, age 7, and her cousin Roxie, age 9, go on an adventure with “supercats,” during which they get powers of their own. Stella’s power is fire and Roxie’s power is teleportation.

Our son has been listening to this show for almost two years, and of course we had to become premium members. This is our go-to podcast for entertainment for him. Now, he is able to put it on himself. We hardly watch TV and shows any more, and having these stories have been a huge help in finding others things for him to do and enjoy, that don’t involve watching a screen. We so appreciate the work that Lucy and her team do to make this show a reality and love being premium members.
