    Funny
This guy is so hard to take seriously that it almost seems like parody. Everything is a forgone conclusion with this guy. He just agrees with the party line, no matter what, even if the party line does a 180. I’m not sure what the point is, it’s just so predictable and unenlightening. The moral inconsistency is off the charts as well. Hard to imagine why anybody would think this guy needs to be heard. “Go Republican white people” is the theme and the angle, every single time

    All around great podcast
Hugh does a great job of reporting the news but what makes his shows really special are the AAA interviews with top newsmakers. He also has his stable of regular guests from Michael Oren to David Drucker to Admiral Stavridis. Hugh has opinions and does not hide them but he lets his guests say their piece. At the end of the show you will know not just what happened but why.

    Dr. Peter McCullough interview
I really wanted to listen to this doctor for his knowledge and expertise. The interviewer was ok, but he kept trying to discredit the doctor by trying to associate him to fundamentalists. I don’t give a F**k about his religious beliefs if his positions are scientifically grounded. At the end of the interview I couldn’t figure out if the interviewer was just dishonest or intellectually challenged. Very poor interview!

Center Right Politics at its Best
Hugh is the best interviewer in talk radio! I love how he frames questions to get to the real story. Love the range of interviewees! Must listen “radio/podcast”!

Great, but the same issue as always
Hugh Hewitt is fantastic. He is a smart, conservative, good man. However, his usual weak spot is his view of his “friends” on the left. I just listened to his interview with George Will, who qualifies as from the left since at least the last election. Mr. Hewitt has the right idea in questioning Will’s hatred for Trump when talking about Trump’s fantastic Supreme Court justices. However, Will basically stated that he would rather sell the constitution and thus, the country down the river forever rather than have Trump as President. Mr. Hewitt sort of laughed it off. There are times to be friendly and times to be an ardent warrior for America rather than video of you with someone who would rather see America destroyed if it means voting for someone who he can’t stand. Will doesn’t even readHis own words. Remember George, presidents come and go, the Constitution is forever, unless we vote for people who you would vote for since they hurt your feelings. Mr. Hewitt is great. I wish he would pull down the shade from the blindside, though.

    Dark Sky by C.J. Box
Enjoyed High’s interview with C.J. Box. Dark Sky was a fast read. A real thriller! Love the long form interviews.

How does Hugh read so much?
I have been a regular listener since my commuting days in Southern California. Now living in Tennessee and can’t help but read or buy every author he interviews or references. I have two full shelves of just CJ Box and Daniel Silva books!

Be an interviewer not a propagandist
Hewitt’s interview of Dr. McCullough looked more like an attempt to smear the doctor than actually interview him. Deeply disappointing Hugh.

    Extended Interviews worth the time
Strong suit of HH is the interview format so great to see these extended interviews of key and Interesting figures - Completely replacing Sunday TV show format filled with taking points and slanted questioning. Thank you for the new way to learn about the issues and personalities

    Very disappointed, Hugh
I’ve been a long-time listener of at least 20 years. Until the 2020 election and the COVID 19 vaccine distribution, I found myself agreeing with you most of the time. However, your bias, which maybe you inherited by working with MS NBC colleagues, is very obvious. Do you think Sidney Powell is incorrect on her election fraud claims? I don’t! You’re asking Dr. McCullough to accept moral responsibility if people don’t get the vaccine, and yet you are not willing to except moral responsibility for telling your listeners that they must get the vaccine! I think more humility and less arrogance is in order for you, Hugh!

    Dr Peter McCullough Interview
I enjoyed the long form interview although Hugh’s biases show at times especially during this interview. Hugh’s obviously wants people to get vaccinated even though he says he’s not trying to persuade people . He badgered Dr. McCullough over his religious views when it had nothing to do with the points he was speaking about. I am pro vaccine but am open to hearing the doctors view. I found Dr McCullough more persuasive than Hugh.

    Silva’s anti-Bible libel
Hugh introduced Silva to many of us. We read and thoroughly enjoyed his novels for over 10 years. Yet last year’s “The Order” betrayed this loyalty. Hugh admits to not finishing the annual Silva fare before his interviews so as to not spoil the endings. But by not asking about; the blame Silva places at the hands of Christianity for modern Jewish persecution, the disparagement of anyone who supported his thinly veiled Trump-like American President as bigots, and his subtle digs at middle-America, we are left with being sold a book by Hugh who roundly mocks center-right Christian conservatives. Please respond to Silva on your show this year. Ask him why he has chosen to become “Dan Brown” lite? And why he mocks his long-time fans?

Sound Quality of Guest is Poor
Hugh Hewitt is an impressive interviewer and his guests are all fantastic. Problem listening without headsets or AirPods is some guests have cell phone quality muffling. Sadly, takes away from the discussion and subject matter. Hey producer every tweak of the interviewee voice comes over. I want to hear every word of Niall Ferguson and yet it’s impossible to listen to. My iPhone12 has great speakers. Is it your over modulation to bring up the volume?

Relevant, informative, and accessible to all!
Hugh assembles the most knowledgeable slate of guests going. This is the podcast I recommend to my liberal friends. Here you will find the topics we all should be talking about. Thank you Hugh. Keep them coming.

In depth and HE READS THE BOOKS!
I enjoy Hugh’s show and this podcast is a great extension of that. He can disagree with someone’s politics but be thoughtful and kind about it. I love that Hugh reads every book himself - so many interviewers don’t - and it shows. This podcast is great, and I love how he’s pulling interviews out of the archives including Christopher Hitchens.

    Hitch-22
The discussions with Christopher Hitchens are epic. He is so erudite and Churchillian in his command of the English language. Hugh does his usual great job of steering the conversation to cover the more enjoyable aspects of Hitchens’ life. How I would love to hear the both of them discuss current events, including canceling Shakespeare! Oh, how I miss that man 🥃🇺🇸🇬🇧

    In-depth, thoughtful and intelligent
No shortcuts here. Hugh reads the books and listens to what is being said by the person he is interviewing and he then develops details from what is being said. There is no one better at the art of the interview. Hugh is a trained attorney with 30 years of experience interviewing and wide range of authors, celebrities and politicians. Highly recommended!
