roo-ticalA gateway to an incredible historyThis is probably the easiest intro to jump into learning about the history of modern reggae music. Very digestible, relatable, and worthwhile tangents that put into context the great human reflection of reggae and Jamaican music. Lots of helpful backstory while keeping a narrative flowing - entertaining and packed with details . Great music and transitions to nail the feel

JayeH345Great Reggae/Dancehall/Jamaican History showI’ve listened to every season and episode and love the show. However, I am disappointed that this season they’ve shortened the episodes and still release one a week. 20 minutes was bad enough to hear the continuation of a story.

yaad kingPhenomenalI am a big fan who has invested unmeasurable amounts of time studying dancehall and reggae music, most questions I have Henry K with his first hand experience clarified it for me. I want to say twins of twins brought me here and I am happy I invested the time listening because it was worth every second. And 😂Henry K moved from Long Island to Jamaica, I did the reverse.

__fcThe perfect podcastYup I said perfect - compelling narrative, sincere but relaxed delivery, with a dense, gorgeous soundscape woven around the spoken word so that it doesn't overwhelm. This podcast just plain SOUNDS so good and is so engaging, I'd probably listen to it even if I weren't as deeply interested in this music as I am. Please let there be more!
