Eye opening conversations around Indigenous methodologies in museology
For a non-Native person like myself this straightforward podcast, with little fanfare, helps me rethink my own approach to everyday work. It has forced me to ask what my personal relationships are with the objects around me, and what my relationships are with the people who created them, whether their item is a mass marketed pair of sneakers or my family Bible. Geared towards Native museum professionals but a great fly-on-the-wall experience for everyday people - Americans especially - questioning where we fit in all of this. It will introduced you to really great thinkers working to address the past, present and future.
