H LiggsA for effortA for effort. But the mispronunciations, the terrible impersonations, and the inaccurate information were all egregious. And the one host saying “like” about 2.5 times per sentence was just too much.
-
marcusp75MehThe hosts provide some interesting insights, but in the process often sound like 12 year olds giggling and using the term “like” excessively in the wrong grammatical context. They also have a strong liberal bias that sometimes leads to incorrect information. Furthermore, the audio quality is not very good.

GLKM1Awful researchThey don’t make it clear where they get all the information they present but the one episode I’ve heard (Andrew Jackson) was so inaccurate, there is no point in trying other episodes. Seriously dudes, check your sources, maybe even use more than one source.

Soldier Girl B.Too much chatterI tried to listen to several episodes and was disappointed every time. Way too much chatter. I would give ZERO STARS if it was an option.

LaLa BananasNot Politically NeutralGood information, maybe even fun, but it’s littered with personal bias. I think I was looking for a highlight reel- obviously some historical policy is outdated, it’s just like that’s what the whole podcast is about. Surely you could highlight positive things about a president elected by our entire nation.
-
Penguin huntersBetter than expectedThis show covered everything I was looking for. The hosts have incredible chemistry, they provide you with great knowledge on each president. They are straight to the point. I wish they did more! Thank you for a great podcast.
-
hickhikerAmateurishWhy did they record while a little kid is literally screaming in the background in episode 1? This was so annoying that I had to stop listening. These guys aren’t quite ready for prime time but maybe I’ll give them a listen again further into their review of presidents.

AneciaAJust stating Google factsI thought this was going to be an interesting historical overlook of each presidents life and term(s). Instead, it was just two guys reading a list of random facts verbatim. Couldn’t even get through one episode. It felt like they didn’t know anything I couldn’t easily find in a quick Google search. Also, they clearly had a political bias, which is fine for a political commentary podcast. But I felt like the bias took away from what could have been a neutral, honest account on each president.

zombinlond_boneyboyWrong infoIn the finale episode one of the host wrongfully said that Obama also separated migrant children from their families. This is verifiable false and received no push back from the other hosts. While some of Obama’s immigration policies overlapped with trumps this is shamefully wrong, and the zero tolerance policy was a trump era policy. What else have these host just willfully got wrong with zero pushback? This greatly reduced my interest in the podcast and I won’t be tuning in further (this is the third episode I listened to).

Renai$$anceMy favorite 🤩 president is Grover ClevelandSo I rated him 1 😎😎😎😎😎😔😔😀

Lime0535Informative & entertainingThis podcast is exactly what I was looking for when I was thinking about how little I know about many presidents: a podcast that discusses them in chronological order. I’m less-interested in the ranking part. I think Curtis & Brad do a good job of presenting information about the presidents before election as well as what’s going on in the world, leading up to the events of their presidencies. The one thing that makes this podcast hard to listen to, at times, is the delivery. Both hosts often mispronounce common words, use filler words like “like” too often, and Brad’s inflection and tendency to read his facts and quotes way too quickly makes it hard to understand sometimes.

jennnj86InformationalI appreciate the information these 2 are sharing. It’s stuff I either forgot or was never told and hadn’t bothered to investigate. A few episodes have led to me digging a little deeper. Thanks for taking the time and making the information available.

fun guy 32Wish I could give - starsJust a hardcore democrat podcast trying to spew bs… same ole stuff

CM1408“LIKE”You guys have got to stop over using the word LIKE!! It is very distracting! But otherwise I do enjoy the subject matter!
-
CalgranyWordingHosts should try not to say “like” and “you know” so much is distracting

Trannon GFinal CaucusFun, entertaining and informative podcast. The guys are a bit lefty, but pretty darn fair! I like their criteria, for the most part. One guy does say “like” every other word (must be a millennial thing) and that does become a bit much, but I am glad this podcast exists. I would recommend it!
-
sparkyruppGood info but…If you are going to read quotes- slow down so they can be understood!
-
mike 8ocGood info but…One of the hosts says “like” way too much.

krrb1135This American PresidentI was enthused about this podcast and then all it did was annoy me. Instead of making history interesting and relatable, the listener has to contend with the sarcasm, ridiculous voice intonations and lots of giggling between the presenters. Unprofessional at best. Take a pass.

Dave LovitzWill they give anyone a microphone?I enjoy US & Presidential history, so when I saw this podcast I was encouraged to listen. I picked the George H.W. Bush episode at random and was unimpressed. For starters, to offer “ranking of U.S. Presidents” leads me to believe you are an educated and informed host, or have a subject matter expert accompanying you to discuss the facts. The other Cooper, “Curtis” basically read biographical information verbatim (often mispronouncing OR getting tongue-tied). They didn’t reference source information and admitted to not knowing basic and important details of the elder Bush. Important details such as: CIA Director, Voodoo economics, “read my lips, no new taxes” platform, etc. The sidebar commentary is awkward and humor-less banter (that amuses only them), often including incredulous and unfounded opinions which couldn’t be further from the truth. I would liken the episode to that of a 5th grade social studies presentation. May try another one down the road, but this was a poor effort.

jjbatorGreat PodcastIn the spirit of full disclosure, I am more on the conservative side of the aisle (primarily a fiscal conservative) and am a supporter of most of Trump’s policies. I concede that his personality and approach are less than desired and wish he could have toned it down and kept quiet more often than not. That said, I really enjoy your podcast and think you guys are great. I jumped in when you were doing LBJ around the time when CNN was airing its series on him. I think you are informative, funny and witty and try to be balanced most of the time. From time to time, you do air more liberal views but not in an in your face or preaching type of way (which is your prerogative since it’s your podcast). I like hearing other views which helps the learning process. I don’t always agree with some of your positions, such as eliminating the electoral collage and term limits for Supreme Court justices, but I do appreciate your points and how your articulate them. You guys don’t talk over each other (which is great) and inject humor when appropriate. I do like your impressions and when you answer each other. I won’t quibble over your rankings because different views makes life interesting though as someone growing up in the mid-1970s and was there at the time, I can’t see how you put Jimmy Carter in the A tier!!! I think you guys try to be balanced which is why I continue to listen and have gone back to the first episode and have caught up. As a fan of US history, this is a great podcast and thanks for your work. A thought for when you are done with the presidents: maybe you can do some episodes on other notable characters in US history such as Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, John Calhoun, Adlai Stevenson, Henry Kissinger and maybe even Hillary.

Photoguy43Great podcast, flawed premiseLove the podcast. Gonna get real awkward when you rank Obama, a black man, at a lower tear than an actual slave owners. Podcast is awesome but a little short sided with the ranking part.
-
PoleymakGreat TopicReally like the idea of devoting a show (or two) to each president. Really allows the audience to learn about each subject in detail, rather than a short synopsis. I like the hosts for the most part. My major issue is the sometimes there are errors or mispronunciations. If so much time is taken to delve in to each subject, make sure you check the facts at times. Still, a worthy listen.
-
SquirreltopiaSadly, sooo many errors. 🙁Good effort, but a lot of credibility is lost with the historical errors and mispronunciations.
-
@arsegonianGood for beginnersI listened to the Washington pod and it was a nice effort but geared for people with little to no knowledge on the subject.
-
rmac55555555555Really enjoyingI really enjoy this podcast, I’m not sure why. But it has caused me to buy a few books and I read it as I listen to an episode. The nerdy enthusiasm is fantastic
-
Mr PresenterVery good podcast for people who love historyVery good podcast. Unbiased with the clear intent not to judge history but rather understand it. They understand history isn’t all good or all bad but rather complex and interesting. Seem like nice history loving people. Loved their episode on Grover Cleveland and appreciate all they do.

Fellow Pres EnthusiastGood with an opportunity for improvementI would like to thank Bradley Cooper and Curtis Cooper for taking the time to research each president and present their findings in an easy-to-use podcast format. Almost anyone will learn more about the presidents by listening to this podcast. I also appreciate that they are upfront about the fact that they are not historians and that they are on the liberal side of the political specturm. What would immediately make this podcast better is if a conservative was added to the podcast, particularly someone who views President Trump and President Reagan favorably. This should create more lively back-and-forth discussions that would challenge the political believes of both the narrators and the listeners, which I think would improve the podcasts' ability to rank the presidents. As of the the President McKinley episode, this suggested improvement has not been made (Although to Bradley and Curtis' credit, they indicated that they were considering making this improvement in the President Benjamin Harrision episode).

RadicalLeftHandDon’t BotherThe information is interesting at times, but unless you enjoy two valley girls who say the president is like a symbol of like America like in my like opinion and read blandly from a script, don’t waste your time.

Anvil62They’re Getting Bad!Started off good, but now their reporting is lazy and uninspired.
-
tkwesley23Nice concept, horrible presentationWas excited to listen to this podcast, concept was exactly what I was looking for but these men are not very knowledgeable of history, bias is obvious, and it’s almost as if they just run through President list rating them on how racist they think they are. Hard to listen to when one commentator continually says “like”. Swing and a miss guys.
-
aaronfig26Ummmm…These guys lost me when they spent the entire Martin Van Buren episode just calling him Buren. Not to mention completely being oblivious not knowing Benjamin and William Henry Harrison were related.
-
Kansas City Mo fanFun podcastI have been traveling across the country listening to your podcast. Very enjoyable and entertaining. I like your perspective on the Presidents. If you like history, then you will like this podcast. Keep it up gentlemen!

Cheaptrick37Information butIf you can get through all of the ooooooooooos after each fact you’ll love this.
-
Crampst ArmstLost me real quickI stumbled on this and thought it was a great concept. A quick overview of each President sounds like it would be very entertaining and educational. BUT..Shouldn't you judge a President based on the standards of his own time and not today's standards? Seems like a huge swing and a miss here. Of course slavery was horrible but it was common practice back then. To say Washington was a middle tier president because he owned slaves is short-sighted. Should I skip to the end because I'm pretty sure this is headed towards Obama being the greatest of all time. I'll give this 2 stars, right in the middle, because I assume the Cooper family tree has some slave owners in it.
-
Austin Amos18I like itAs a fellow history enthusiast, I enjoy this podcast. It’s cool to see the interesting presidential facts and nuggets they share. Their bias does show a little bit but hey we all have our own bias in one way or another and I feel like they make some effort to look at the presidents objectively.
-
The Big JalapeñoWorst PodcastIf this is designed to be a history podcast well...it ain’t. These clowns are using the subject to give their opinion on current issues. One word: CANCEL!!!
-
DanielPBinghamDon’t waste your time...Unless a mature pop psychology analysis of the Presidents by two guys who don’t know very much history interests you.
