Rev DeborahHope for this caregiver 🙏🏻As a retired UMC pastor, (still under appointment) the Lord is humbling me with a ministry at age 77 as a full time caregiver for my husband (I’m a woman, a mom, stepmom, grand & great grandmother & step grandmother). This Bible in a year pod caste is saving my life, my soul & helping me feel like I have a friend in Father Mike & he is opening up scriptures in a way that I never thought about before! Palin10Fr Schmitz gets oldFr Schmitz does some good work but he has some irritating verbal tics and his touchy feely concern that women who have been exploited are going to have a flashback after reading 4000 year old stories is foolish beyond imagination. We could use a more realistic mature guide.

Jdav68Lit. 🔥🔥🔥If you are a football guy.. this podcast drops some dimes into the faithful who are open receivers of the truth. If you are a ballarina, it’s like those weird flat tipped shoes you put on for the first time, where it didn’t maybe feel great at first, but as you kept practicing and being faithful..you were able to pirouette. If your a guitarist, it’s like when you first picked it up..you felt like your hands all the sudden became not yours or from a different planet, then as you stretched, etched, and pressed you began to make beautiful chords and music. With all good things..it takes time..give it a shot and you won’t regret it one bit. :)

KHRONOSChanged my lifeHaving a daughter that is turning 2 and disabled, we found out she has a condition that is so rare she can pass anytime, even at 2 years old. God has shown me in many different ways that she will be with us much longer and he’s shown us such amazing signs. This podcast have brought back my faith and helped us realize God is with us. Love father mikes narration, what an amazing podcast, I recommend for anyone that drives in their car at least 15 minutes a day or even has 30 minutes to spare a day, very much so worth it. Thank you for all you have done, please pray for me, you know I’ll be praying for you, we will all take the 365 day journey together. Thank you god for bringing us together!

Kire SnewoHonestly greatI am in no way outwardly religious or a fully functioning and practicing Catholic. I started to see my children really enjoy Easter Sundays so I started to take that as a good move to get back into scripture. I found a very good Catholic Bible and stumbled upon Ascension stuff on this podcast, YouTube, and their very easy to use App. I listen during work since I use my hands and love listening to audiobooks. Might as well utilize a bit of that time to re-learning scripture. Father Mike, Jeff, and others in their YouTube channel really make it easier to digest a lot of the scripture that is mostly heard but not understood. Being mostly in the Baptist region of Florida it is nice to find a decent way to listen and enjoy scripture instead of being forced by guilt lead group think. It’s nice. I’ll be following as long as I can manage so thank you all for this.

I’ve walked with Lord for most of my life and have attempted (and failed) to read the Bible in a year several times. This format will definitely push me to finish it this time. GDad of 4Not Catholic but I love this podcastI love knowing that if I listen every day, I will hear the entire Bible in one year. I am not Catholic but I highly recommend this podcast to any Christian that wants to learn their Bible. After each reading, there is a commentary and I really enjoy the thought-provoking message after the reading.

Gamer in CTBest podcast in the world! Cant wait to listen every day!It has been so exciting listening to the Word read aloud every day and then explained! Father Mike does such an amazing job filling us in on the context of the times in which the scriptures were written and how the people behaved and what was common knowledge to them in those days. All of the explanations after each set of readings are what is making me so excited to listen every single day, not skip ahead (which I deeply want to each day) and to leave time to reflect on what I have heard and learned. I am a big reader and I would tremble thinking about a day of judgement where the Lord could say to me that I have read hundreds or thousands of books and never read His word? Well with this exciting podcast that won’t happen. I listened and His word was explained…well. Outstanding quality sound and the reading plan is terrific. I am on day 106 now and will carry on throughout the year. Thanks be to God for Father Mike taking on this heroic effort to record all of these readings. Praying for you Father Mike! 🙏🏻

I can’t imagine a more beauiful gift to the world than this large group reading of the Bible and the anointed, thorough, engaging teaching from Fr. Mike. He truly speaks to the common man and answers every question the listener is likely wondering. What a gift! As a serious believer for a while I still was never able to say that I read the Bible fully…until this podcast. Thank you, Fr. Mike, Ascension Press team and Holy Spirit!!🙏

I have tried reading the Bible from beginning to end and have never been successful. This reading makes the goal attainable. I am not catholic and have enjoyed Father Mike and his summaries after the readings so very much!! Subscribe and listen!! You will love it!! Side note, the catholic bible has a couple extra books, so those will be gone through as well

I thought I’ll let you know the mistake. But I was still able to go back and find the able to the finding when it was posted last year.

JIM and BARBARA THANKFULIT CHANGED OUR LIVESMy wife and I found Bible In A Year from a tv show on a financial channel talking about it. We tried it and it has meant so much to both of us. Father Mike explains the Bible so well and gives such understanding about the Bible that reading the Bible yourself cannot do. Our younger son died in 2016 and our older son died in 2018. Listening to Bible In A Year has helped us so much with our grief. We feel we know so much more about God and His plan and His love. Our love for God has greatly increased with this increased knowledge. We finished the first year doing Bible in a Year and are now on day 320 of doing it the second year. We thank God and Father Mike so much. After we finish this second time, we plan to start our third year. Jim and Barbara Elmore
