    Food for the soul
This podcast is so intentional. Every conversation is a deep dive into something you may have been fascinated by or wondered about and if not it opens you up to want to learn more. Nitsa artfully guides the episodes to allow the guest to feel heard and appreciated. Especially loved episode 68 with Garance as she navigates her views on love, careers and having children or not.

    Inspiring herbalism
I love all of Soundfoods podcasts, but the recent one with Herbalist Kelsey Barrett was especially inspiring. I was able to see herbalism in a new more rounded light and how it can be connected to ancestry and intuition. Having immigrant parents from different countries and generally feeling de-rooted, this concept rang true to my heart and made me feel more grounded and connected.

    Delightful conversations
Nitsa!! I love these conversations so much! I love that they’re long and that they take their time, that they are thought-provoking and mindful and funny and deeply moving. I would love for the tables to be turned on you for a special episode where you would share your own journey, how you process the world, why you decided to move from your magical house in California to New Mexico, what it is that you are actually doing for a living in New Mexico, what your next creative fires are, etc, etc. All the things. ❤️ I look forward to many more episodes!

    Like nothing else
I considered myself a podcast junkie. Until I found this. I don’t know how it landed in my life but I am forever grateful that it is here. If you’re looking for inspiration, peace, laughter and learning check it out. It’s literally like nothing else out there. And I hope it stays as authentic and raw. This podcast is what I need when I’m feeling off! I have been so awakened by so many of your guest. I have had so many moments where I have to stop and pause because what is discussed seem so connected with me, and has even helped me make some difficult life decisions. I am coming from a place where sometimes I don’t feel aligned with my work, surrounding, my community and home but there is something about your episodes that reignites this flame in me when I find it dimming. This podcast is simply pure joy. It makes me smile, laugh, cry and most of all feel. It allows me to feel connected to all the beauty out there, inspiring people and ideas from my little spot in the world.

    Sustenance
I recently heard an Ethan Hawke Tedtalk IG post. He talked about poetry and art being essential food for humans when processing grief and joy.. “has anyone else ever felt this much?” And that people who know themselves, follow what they love and express themselves from this place - are a gift to the planet, to humanity. That this is the way we can help each other and the planet. Thank you Nitsa, for processing all you have been through, the joy and the grief, and sharing from the place of what you love. Thank you for bringing in so many guests that have also done the same alchemy. Your show has been really settling and nourishing for my spirit and nervous system. Like a cup of tea, generously made and shared from a kind heart. I appreciate the scope of what you are talking about. I appreciate the inclusiveness and depth. The intention and humor. ✨🤍✨

I wish I was as Calm as Nitsa’s Voice
Nitsa projects such a serene tone that just listening to the pod soothes me soul. She carefully selects people with a very powerful message in each episode. I feel grateful each week when a new episode drops, more excited to see who she will be interviewing and what new information or person I will learn about. My only question to Nitsa “what would be your last meal on earth”? ♥️

    Wellness/holistic living
I love holistic living and wellness, but the salesmanship vibes of a lot of pods and the constant looking for trends/self betterment via a product had me feeling burned out on listening to them. None of that here, just beautiful, heartfelt conversations. Look forward to it every week!

Nitsa makes this podcast truly special
I listen to a fair amount of podcasts and they all tend to fall into the same “vibe”. Soundfood stands out because of its host, Nitsa. There’s something about her that’s SO genuine, gentle, and nonjudgmental (which is becoming harder to find in this space).
  • Lindzleee
