I just recently started to listen to Dershow. What a wealth of information for one who wants to listen, learn and judge situations on his own, based on facts.

Lincoln was a rotten speller too so don’t feel so bad. You’re in great company!

Alan the Democratic Party left you not the other way around. With both the Republican and Democratic parties position being what they are, further apart, they’re creating more Independents which is a good thing.

You say it’s about the gun. But why didn’t this not happen in 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. This has nothing to do with guns. Something happen in 90’s caused this change. It is not the gun. It’s the individual and yes it’s something to do with. What we have been doing to our children. Maybe has to do with what we are eating, vaccines or a combination of this and other things. We need to do more investigation why this started happening in 1990’s. Sorry, it’s not the gun. It is the individual. But thanks for opinion because we need to discuss this things. So, we can make this world a better place to live. I remember having friends who had their rifles in truck during hunting season at school. We also need look at 1990’s. We started giving psych drugs in 1990’s to young school kids. Sorry it’s not about the Gun.

Alan Dershowitz is the only legal analyst excellent for both Republicans and Democrats. He studies the evidence and the arguments of both lawyers. He knows and understands all of the US Constitutions and Amendments. Can recall all relevant legal precedents but is open to new arguments when they have merit. But his presentation is understandable to non-lawyers. This made him formidable from local jury trials to the Supreme Court. His podcasts and videocasts are also great for analysis of national and international news.

Allen goes on and on every episode about how objective and unbiased he is. In the very same sentence he will make such sweeping claims as America is systemically racist without a shred of evidence. I even called and left a voicemail for him to give specific examples and it wasn’t even played on the air. He also does a great spin job of twisting illegal immigration into anti-immigrant sentiment. Most people other than the far right nativists are pro-immigration however they want it measured , legal and meritocratic. All in all I appreciate his first amendment absolutism but I would definitely encourage him to consider more objective takes rather than his progressive bias..For example, after the Golden globes he said without a shadow of a doubt that it is a given that the presenters should be diverse. No rationale given, but rather just pure dogma that diversity is a virtue. This is the kind of Progressive tripe that is sending America down the rabbit hole. Progressives have done their darndest to make police departments reflect their communities and it has done absolutely nothing to win over the community. in fact, police resentment is at an all-time high; so please stop with the notion that diversity is good just because it is.Why don’t you invite on a black conservative and we’ll see how you do.how about somebody like Larry elder?

I started listening to Mr Dershowitz with a set mind of how wrong he is. As you listen to him he explains everything from both sides. I still do not agree with some of what he says, but there is no doubt in my mind that he is fair, intelligent, and humble. If anyone has a question about what is going on in the world concerning politics/law, this is the man to listen to. Realize, if you want someone to agree with you, you should go somewhere else. He talks facts, logic, so listen with an open mind & be prepared to learn.

I started law school when I was 60 years old and I learn more from the Dershow than I did in the classroom. Well done professor.

I don’t agree with everything Dershowitz says, but he makes logical cases rooted in law, then often brings up the opposite positions and dissects them. If nothing else, it’s educational and entertaining. 20 more years!!!!!!!

This is the best place to go for current goings on in the legal world.

Hi Allen - I love your work and all of your legal interpretation - I was thinking of suing the gov. For something today - I just didn’t know what - everything in this country is so upsetting and unfair unless your an elite, or Palestinian, gay, trans some thing special. I am not I am just an average white girl, single mom, sister, grandma, mom and friend. So on my walk I was thinking could I sue the government for something? Sue the pharmaceutical companies for pushing the vaccines on my son (in the navy) and my granddaughters? The distress and worry - it all makes me sad. Thanks for the show.

I wonder if listeners to your show remember the 1972 Olympics in the Palestinians murdering nine innocent Israeli Olympians. Such a tragedy, but the beginning of the international demonstration of Palestinian hatred that has never ended! in hindsight little Deb, we know that on October 7, 2023 the same unarmed innocences would be attacked again. How could a rational human being ever support the Palestinians ?

Professor Dershowitz is a legal expert. His coverage (especially on the Wade/Willis case) has been terrific. He’s also erudite on the Israel war. Great show so far!

You referred to the Federalist Papers in regards to the legality of impeaching Secretary Mayorkas. Our oath is just to the US Constitution. What is the legal principle to justify using either the Declaration of Independence or the Federalist Papers to interpret the meaning of the US Constitution?

I always considered Derschwitz a super left wing liberal. I started listening to him in the past few months. I have more respect for him. He represented Trump when he was impeached. He still won’t vote for him. That seems fair. Fairness should never depend upon the politics of the other person.

Alan you did sing the wrong those were the days lyrics in reference to All in the family. Episodes back concerning George Floyd ,you noted he had serious drugs in system ,and noted Derek chauvin did a terrible thing. Not according to medical examination or other police cam views that show his knee on more of the shoulders. Ems was late even after call was made 13 seconds into confrontation, and they hooked up oxygen wrong.

Professor, in your summation today you intimated that the case for obstruction against Hillary rested in whether or not the emails she destroyed were personal or Dept. of State property. That is not the case. The case against Hillary for obstruction was that she destroyed emails and devices that were under congressional subpoena and she knew that they were under subpoena.

Mr Dershowitz you are a calming voice in an absolutely insane world . I don’t agree with everything you say but I respect everything you say. Your podcast is full of great insights that force listeners to think beyond the headlines. A very rewarding experience. He is articulate, civil, and reasonable. An individual who truly understands and can clearly discuss, not only the letter of the law, but its spirit as well.

Though the Prof is a leftist, his explanations of the Constitution and understanding of law are so enlightening. But the primary reason for listening is his intellectual integrity, which is impeccable. I just don't understand how such a smart person can still believe in looney leftism! 😅 It fails spectacularly every time it's tried. Just look at what is happening to our country! I’ve become increasingly cynical about what happens in Washington: parasitic hyenas trying old or new scams to grab their share of the tax bounty. Relatively new is using the legal system to transform our democracy into something on par with Pakistan, Brazil, or one of the struggling countries in Central America. These people deserve a victorious Trump, obnoxious though he may be. When you see how much they have done to him without complaint, it’s amazing. Thank you for remaining true to the law, while New York, Washington and Florida are overrun with political clowns.

Edited again- Question- If Biden suspected or knew his son was leveraging his name or potential influence for financial gains- would this justify a impeachment inquiry or impeachment? I dislike Trump & I agree with your Trump perspective. I am concerned that Biden did know more than he has reported. I am very happy you approve of a special council. This entire situation seems very suspicious. It does seem like a thorough & objective investigation is needed.
