This pod is fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously, unlike certain OTHER Top Chef podcasts

If you’re ready to be entertained and amused - this is a really fun podcast that adds a humorous insight and commentary to the top chef show episodes. The hosts each bring a perfect blend of wit and personality and complement each other perfectly! It’s my go-to podcast now for my boring commute! I also love that they don’t push culinary knowledge down your throat and just have fun with it! You can tell they vibe - love it!

I look forward to listening to Pod Chef immediately after a new episode of Top Chef airs. And when I say “immediately,” I really mean five days later, since Top Chef airs on Wednesdays and Pod Chef drops on Mondays. Nonetheless, it is the best Top Chef recap podcast out there, full of great jokes, witty observations, and insider information. (I still can’t believe Tom Colicchio let’s them get away with it.)

I’ve listened to all of (~5) the Top Chef podcasts out there and this is by far the best one. The hosts are hilarious and have some of the BEST Top Chef contestants on as guests. You get the real scoop plus some dorky food talk. Viva la DiGiorno!

If you’re a TC fan and are looking for in-depth review about the cooking & the chefs, this isn’t it.

It’s a fun listen! I always enjoy podcasts where it feels like I’m listening in on an inside joke and don’t 100% know the references. It’s also a timely episode because Selection Sunday for March Madness happens today. These guys have a finger on the pulse of popular culture.

I literally laughed every time she had something to say.

I love this show, it’s definitely the funniest “review” show I’ve ever heard with great guests and top-tier banter.

I stumbled upon this show when I started my own Top Chef rewatch this year. Kept listening after realizing we shared some opinions about the show. Now getting a new episode for my drive to work is a highlight of the week. Super funny hosts and, recently especially, some great insightful interviews with former cheftestants.

Absolutely one of the most entertaining podcasts out there. And most of the time the talk a little about my favorite show Top Chef… lol So glad I found it. Found it right before season 19 w listened to all of that one and the re-watch of season 5. Great show

Don’t listen to the haters! This is actually the Official Top Chef Podcast. My uncle works at Nintendo and he told me that he went to Tom Colicchio’s Big Apple restaurant Craft and he met Tom, and Tom told him that he actually did commission the podcast with hosts Jamal, Bryan, and Reaves. My uncle also told me Mario is real and he’s suing Chris Pratt for defamation. The hosts? Great. Fabulous, even!* Even though only one of them knows about anime, don’t let that deter you!! Pod chef is the one, baby!! (If reading aloud, read like Snagglepuss)

If you are looking for a podcast that gives excellent coverage of Top Chef, this is probably not the one. However, even if you do not watch Top Chef, you will probably be entertained, and if you do watch Top Chef, you will get more of the jokes. I look forward to hearing from these three funny guys each week and I love how they keep dropping podcasts even between Top Chef seasons. Even their intro song is funny.

I’ve listened to a lot of Top Chef podcasts and I saw that this is the “official” so I thought I’d check it out. If you really care about listening to the actual show, try Pack your Knives and don’t waste your time with whatever this is.

Chefs I procured for you… All you can eat sushi from Yoshi Sushi in Richmond, VA Sprite Salad is definitely racist. My favorite part is when you read hashtags. #feetloversonly #misenplace

Found this show looking for S19 previews, and now listening to their Portland season and loving it.

It literally takes 20-30 min into the episode for the hosts to actually discuss the Top Chef recap. I don’t mine if they do that but moving forward I would recommend to please put in the episode notes the time stamp when the Top Chef discussion officially starts.

Sorry Gilmore Guys and Watch What Crappens, but this is the best rewatch/recap podcast around.

Funniest Top Chef recap pod ever! A must listen if you like Top Chef and love to laugh. Only complaint is having to back up so frequently to catch what you missed while laughing.

Trust me, I’ve listened to ALL of the Top Chef podcasts available and finally, FINALLY, found Pod Chef. The crew on this show have the best comedic camaraderie I’ve heard yet. I can’t stop listening and am even going back to listen to their first two seasons. Last night I prepared for you: roasted chicken, cabbage, peppers, and mashed potatoes. I just finished the episode of "is it because i'm bald?' and at the end Bryan asks why people who don't watch top chef would be listening to the podcast and here's the thing: I don't want to watch people cook, but I do want to listen to people talk about watching people cook. It's much more relatable.

Tonight I prepare for you rotisserie chicken breast, jewel sweet potato mash, garlic spinach. Five stars.

Last night I prepared for you: spaghetti squash and Italian sausage (prepared by Reaves). This is a very funny podcast- with some great editing improvements lately! One negative, I know everyone feels like Reaves shouldn’t of come in third when Harold evaluated their meals, he made cremini mushroom and a miso ginger salmon curry- it was delicious.

I’m one of the hosts of this podcast and I think it’s pretty good. Could it be better? Probably not... Last night I prepared for you Thai takeout!

For you, I've prepared a slow cooker honey chicken, featuring boneless skinless chicken thighs, low sodium soy sauce, tomato paste, fresh chili paste, garlic, a splash of rice vinegar, and of course honey. I think you'll find it succulent.

Bryan, Jamal & Reaves — I have for you an appetizer of Spam truffle flaked over cricket caviar. Followed by a flaming salad of edible gold leaf and diced Cheetos. The main course is a fried bison leg with a pickled saffron snake-wine reduction and matsutake mushrooms. For dessert we have butterscotch creme de beef balls confit and warm chocolate chip lobster nuggets. Please enjoy
