I used to love this podcast. Too bad Cheryl showed us her colors . Good on Tig for leaving.

I love Tig. It’s a shame cheryl showed us who she really is. Cheryl deserves to get the measles and tuberculosis and every other disease her idiot husband is forcing onto the American people while she stands behind him, applauding. I hope she never sleeps well again.

I really enjoyed listening to the silly banter of Tig and Cheryl. However,I just cannot listen to or respect anyone that is associated with the Trump administration and a blatant vaccine denier welcoming back the polio epidemic. I thought you were smarter Cheryl , but shame on you for supporting such a worthless human being (your husband, not Tig who I wholeheartedly respect).

Sorry Cheryl, god graced you with a horrible voice. Is that why you and RFK have such a unbreakable bond? Here’s wishing polio on you and fam 😘

Cheryl’s husband

I loved this podcast, even after Tig left I listened to every episode and I hated that people left Cheryl bad reviews over politics. I didn’t think it was fair. Now, after her husband endorsed Trump and has gone all in on getting him re-elected I feel absolutely disgusted and betrayed that Cheryl is still supporting him publicly. As a woman I just think it matters who you stand with in a fight for our rights and our bodies. Women are dying and Cheryl is out there giving positive rehabilitative good press to her creepy, cheating, egomaniac husband who thinks he is medical genius trying to save lives, yet supports a man who intends to keep forcing women and girls to suffer and die for no reason! The cruelty is too much to stomach, I see Cheryl as absolutely complicit now. This show used to make me happy and now I can never enjoy it or Curb ever again. We will remember Cheryl.

The quality of this show has plummeted.

I was so excited to hear that Cheryl hates wind chimes. I have felt so alone in my hatred for so many years because I too despise them. Thanks to you I don’t feel alone anymore. Also I miss you guys and this is my 3rd re-listen. It just makes me happy!

Here’s a wild idea… maybe actually talk about the subject of your episodes rather than yammering on endlessly & trying to make yourselves laugh. You’re not funny. It’s important that you know that.

I love watching documentaries. My partner does not. Often I want to hear what others think so I love to hear the hosts thoughts. Also, I like having suggestions for documentaries so this is perfect for me. I see that newer shows don’t have Tig in them so I am wondering how that happened but I am sure I will find out!

Used to be a fun pod when superstar Tig was on it carrying Cheryl’s weight. Stopped listening a while ago when I couldn’t gloss over Cheryl’s support of her loony anti-vax husband. Looks like maybe Tig has left the pod now? If so, supports my general good feelings about her. Take a pass on this one.

Found your podcast when I was falling down a Dolly hole… Parton of course. I’m always searching for a documentary- and I found you! Can’t wait for more. Thanks for including where they can be accessible. I have lotsa options, but it’s super helpful when you know where to stream them.

Hi there, I just love this podcast! I discovered it very recently, and it really cheers me up during dark times. I actually prefer the episodes with Cheryl and Rachel. I find their dynamic so funny and enjoyable. I prefer it to the episodes with Cheryl and Tig. I see the last episode was posted in December of last year. Discovered this podcast after listening to Tig’s solo podcast. Could not imagine anyone else but Tig hosting with Cheryl, but you nailed it with Rachel! Literally Lols all the time and I really enjoy her perspective. PS - The podcast often brings me to tears in a good way, and I am now attracted to Rachel ❤️

I found out about your podcast from my oldest friend-in both ways, we are 72 and met when we were 2 years old, and LOVE you two, now three. When you took a break we were anxious you wouldn’t return, hoping for a new “Tig”, thank you Rachael for joining Cheryl. Thank you for being so self-deprecating, I love how you are both so NORMAL, and I would probably get chicken tacos at the party, Babs can have her pork tacos. We both live alone, about an hour apart, in Maine so don’t get together too often, but you are the first thing we talk about. I live in rural Maine, so drive a lot, and you are my go-to podcast. Just ignore the “Laughing Dog” comments, you make me laugh and that is what we all need. THANK YOU!! I encourage my friends to listen to you. PLEASE keep me laughing!

I think the show is even more fun to listen to with Rachel- the two of them have a great rapport and I’m glad it’s continued even though Tig left.

Tried to get back into this show but Tig is irreplaceable. Although I will say that the irony of Cheryl laughing about members of a cult is hilarious.

Love documentaries, love Tig, love a comedy podcast. I listened to several episodes, but Cheryl’s super loud, hyperbolic voice gets old quickly. It’s only funny to not know what words are, what people’s names are, etc. the first few times. After the thousandth time per episode, it’s just absurd. The ditzy I-don’t-know-anything-U-just-giggle schtick gets old super fast. No one is this confused by the English language. Or phonics.

Cheryl just said blue teeth and I laughed so hard I started crying which made my 5 year old ask me “mommy why do you look like you’re sad?” And I had to explain “I’m listening to a podcast and they made me laugh so hard I’m crying” But she understood right away saying “oh tears of joy!” Thanks for all the tears of joy, ladies! Kind of annoying when I have to listen to 20 minutes of chit chat that has absolutely nothing to do with the title of the episode. That was enough for me to not follow this podcast.

Been listening since the beginning and still a snerkbol! You might think it’s important to watch the documentary before the episode. But I’ve done the science and not only is it not necessary to watch the documentary, I actually think it’s better if you don’t! I’ve done it both ways and I laugh so much harder if I just rawdog it and go in cold. Love this show and always will!

I’ve been listening to old episodes (between new ones of course) and I came across this direct quote from Cheryl: “I think Rachel Harris would come in hard on the camel toe discussion”. Perhaps this topic needs revisiting? Love the show!

I’ve tried to love it. I really have. It’s not bad; it’s just not funny anymore. I do learn far more about a documentary than I ever did with Tig and Cheryl, but the side-splitting banter is gone. Now there’s nice conversation between best friends, but we’re used to bursting out laughing at random times, remembering whatever hilarious rabbit hole Tig and Cheryl had traveled down on a previous podcast. All the private jokes they included us in, the way they made us feel like we were besties… oh how I miss them together.

Yikes. Without Tig this is brutal.

Rachael Harris picked up the reins from Tig Notaro. Love them both. This podcast goes off the rails in the most delightful way.

Updated review for the new version: I used to love this podcast, but now it’s so simple-minded and dull. There are no counterpoints. Tig offered a different set of life experiences. On the new version, we get two blonde white straight women who talk loudly over each other and make the same points. We miss you, Tig! I’ve flown numerous times since watching the mh370 documentary and listening to the podcast (hey, tig and Cheryl, hey!), and I am constantly looking at the random carpet hatch area on the plane for someone nefarious sticking their head out while at the same time trying to change our flight path. It’s the stuff of nightmares. Just know I’m doing my best to keep the air safe so tig can continue her weekly flights. If I ever get so lucky as to see you guys on a flight, I’m tagging you both in for the “see something, say something” weird secret carpet look out post. Love you both so much! Please keep doing this podcast. It makes my heart so happy!
