Legendary stories from a hero in running
I have been a fan of Jeff Galloway since I started running in 1985. This podcast is a treasure. What a treat to hear these stories as if we are out on a long run together. I am forever thankful for the run-walk-run method that Jeff developed and I train with his customized coaching program. Thanks for sharing your memories and experience with us! Keep ‘em coming!

    Great Respect & Admiration
I’m a big fan of JG and believe I wouldn’t still be running if it weren’t for Run/Walk/Run. Sadly I’m not a fan of this podcast. JG appears to be reading his story to us, and that’s ok, if you want someone to read you a story. I was hoping for conversation and the telling of stories, not a prepared script. I’ve read many of Jeff’s books. All are wonderful. If he put these stories in a book I’d love to read them as well. But if I want someone to read me a story I’ll get Audible. If you want to hear more about his background you definitely might like this podcast. It just isn’t what I like to listen to.

    Jeff is an inspiring mentor
Jeff and his son getting to do this is an absolutely wonderful thing. What a bonding experience it must be! Jeff has helped me so much since I discovered running so late in life. Hearing his story is motivating and inspiring. I’m so glad this is available. Keep the episodes coming!

    Interesting and Inspirational!
What a fascinating and inspirational journey! Really enjoyed this podcast and am looking forward to future episodes! Two key takeaways: “the training for distance events transforms average people into endurance athletes at any age and at any level of exertion”...you’ve given me hope again after healing from a major injury with little to no motivation to resume the thing I loved the most. Nothing has managed to motivate me for the last two years until now. I joined your 60 day challenge and had an aha moment pertaining to motivation when you shared your wisdom regarding cognitive strategies. The second takeaway was your comment regarding mental clarity after running fifteen minutes and how that relates to tackling things with ease that may have been challenging prior to a run. That has also been my experience in the past during and after a run. I am so thankful I found you and your team and am so excited to be back on track working towards better health and feeling on top of the world! 🏃‍♀️ 😊

    Great one!
I have learned so much more about training on the Extra Mile. This podcast gives the personal narrative of how Galloway got started running. I can’t wait too hear more stories! Thank you, Jeff Galloway and Westin Galloway!

    I “can” do this!
At least Jeff says I can!😊 A fun listen to the “origins” of a great runner! I’m looking forward to hearing more of Jeff and his running stories and buddies as I run from old age...keeping “forever young” with running!
