I’ve been listening to Doug and the Agave Social Club Podcast since the beginning. I’ve been fortunate to get to know and work with many of the amazing people Doug has interviewed over the years and I find his podcasts incredibly informative and interesting. Highly recommend for anyone casually interested in tequila to seasoned aficionados!

I have been following Doug on Instagram for awhile, but just recently have started listening to his podcast. What great Tequila information. I have tried quite a few Tequilas because of Doug’s recommendations and they have all been great. Thoroughly enjoy your podcast. You rambling episode of your trip to Mexico was great because it provided a lot of little tidbits (isn’t tidbit by nature little? Therefore, little little or tidbit tidbit…) within the industry affecting a few brands that is like listening to the neighbors yak about other neighbors, except in a good way. Simply, your discussion is a great way to get insights into this industry beyond the typical “oh, and the vanilla or caramel or herbal…”. I can get tasting notes from the myriad of so called aficionados, but from you we get how life is unfolding for the people behind the brands.

Big thank you to Doug for opening my eyes (and taste buds) to tequila via this podcast and your instagram. This is my go-to when I am cooking, driving, or chilling. Have sent specific episodes to family and friends and they’ve loved. Keep it up!

What I love about this podcast is that it’s about sharing and people connecting around agave spirits. Genuine stories, respect of the craft and appreciate of all that goes into the process. It’s insightful by both Doug and the fantastic guests. It’s not a shallow pitch of the latest brands and it’s not pretending to be a know it all tequila marketing grab that has been over saturating us.

Agave social club gives us an honest review of each tequila brand. With each review, we learn something new about this brand and options to try them during a tasting event. We learn about the unique flavors of each tequila and why it is so special and worth trying. We learned about Sip Tequila. I plan to visit them in April to see what they have in stock and meet the staff. Sip Tequila is a great way to purchase tequila and have it shipped free. The packaging is the best. Hope to hear about new tequila brands with their unique story. I really like the additive free and organic tequilas. Looking forward to more podcasts.
