ChlxeyAbsolutely ADORE this podcastI was trying to get into podcasts and they make it so interesting and easy to get into. Very calming voices, have to be my favorites out of everything i've listened to. The topics they pick aren't talked about enough and it's awesome how they talk about misogyny and artists like Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and a bit of K-POP. The collabs have me loving it even more, definitely should give a listen to <333

Praise.Laugh.Loveexactly what we neededThese girls provide insights that the industry has been lacking for a while, and do it in a way that’s fun, informative, and engaging. i’ve learned so much and am always excited for new episodes!

hidinginthebindingThe Quality Content We’ve All Been Waiting ForThis podcast is the definition of community. It invites you in with warmth and friendliness, but also challenges and engages you. All these episodes feel like the conversations that should have been prompted by so many fleeting thoughts we’ve all had at shows and when listening to music but for whatever reason choose to just ignore or remain quite. I’m currently still in the process of binging through past episodes and can’t wait to watch this podcast grow in content and popularity.(Also if collaborations / guest come into play a conversation between Sara and Jenna and the lovely ladies from Babes Behind the Beats would be absolutely killer) The most love to these women from an ex-closeted fangirl!

Serena LiebowitzLove it!!I’m obsessed with this podcast! Sara and Jenna really put these experiences into words, the way I never have been able to myself. I really appreciate them for bringing awareness to this issue and for creating a safe space for women in the industry and women who just love music in general. I will definitely continue to listen to/share this podcast. :)

motherofbandsI love this podcastI am having so much fun listening to this podcast. It has already taught me alot about the music industry, and is putting the fangirl/groupie phenomenon into a much more nuanced, interesting context than I've heard before, from the pov of two women who have lived that life. Can't wait to hear what they talk about next!

ryannfunkOne of my fav pods of 2020I found this pod via tik tok when Sara’s video popped up on my fyp this summer and knew I had to check it out! After the first episode, I was hooked and definitely had to continue to follow! When I listen, I feel like I’m talking with friends about the stuff we care about within an industry we’re so passionate about! I can’t believe this pod has only been around for a few months and has already covered sooo many dope topics! Can’t wait to listen for many more years ahead!

EP440910Best podcast EVER!This podcast is not only so fun and conversational, but it highlights real, important issues that are often overlooked. If you want to learn more about the music industry and help take down the patriarchy and internalized misogyny all while feeling like you’re chatting with friends, you’ll be more than pleased with this podcast :)

kaaysphotosAbsolutely love!!!I love this podcast to SHREDS!! The two hosts are the sweetest women ever, and I love their mission to destigmatize the fangirl culture. The hosts that they bring on are also informative and really show that being a fangirl is nothing to be ashamed of. We’re basically just doing the marketing job, without a pay!!
-
saveranizedLoved itThis podcast has helped me soo much to be confident and brave to express my love for pop culture.I always felt ashamed to accept in public that I fangirl over boybands and That I wouldn’t be taken seriously ,but this has changed my world view a lot and helped me to embrace that emotions

Doctor Caramelnecessary perspectives on engaging topics!!i love the entire premise of this podcast. women have been (and continue to be) such underpaid champions of the music industry. each new episode offers fresh takes on so many unacknowledged aspects of music/the culture surrounding it. i honestly think this is a must-listen podcast for anyone.

SwimmymeMust ListenThis is one of my favorite podcasts. If you work in the music industry or are a fangirl you will love this! Sara and Jenna explore so many important topics surrounding misogyny in music from the perspective of industry professionals. Their conversations are so interesting and leave me eagerly waiting for the next new episode to drop on Sunday! So glad this podcast exists ✨
-
Jessinator97I feel heard!I found out about you all through the lovely Sydney (who will be an upcoming guest). As someone who works behind the scenes in the music industry, it's so wonderful to have a podcast that really makes me feel heard and understood. You all have such great chemistry together. I feel like I have to constantly straddle the line between expressing that I am a fan of something while maintaining professionalism and it's so refreshing to listen to a podcast that expresses many sentiments that I feel about misogynistic views surrounding fan culture. Thank you for helping to work towards breaking down the stigma!
-

bmjohnson7I ❤️ name 3 songs!!Genuinely the most fun/my favorite podcast to listen to. In the past I was never really a podcast person, but name 3 songs definitely changed that for me. Sara + Jenna are so funny and endearing. You can immediately tell that their friendship is so genuine/based on a mutual love of music. They think really critically about complex issues in the music industry, like blatant misogyny and toxic fandoms. The episodes are always so creative and focus on bands/music I love. Definitely give them a listen!!!
-
bcuzickA must-listen for fans and women in music!!!I love, love, love Name 3 Songs!!! I found them a while back on TikTok and was immediately drawn in since Sara and Jenna loved all the same music I do (from pop punk to One Direction). They do an amazing job at talking about what it means to be a woman and a music fan and I love the analysis they offer for all of the biggest names in alt and pop music. It’s one of the most authentic feeling podcasts I’ve got on my listening list, and if you love music or the music industry this is the show for you!!
-
savage elina graceso well done!i love this podcast so much! the hosts are so smart and give an excellent perspective on what it’s like to be a young woman in the music industry - from being a fan to working in journalism. i like how they talk to hardcore fans of the bands/artists they’re talking about and let them speak on what it’s like dedicating your time to a certain person. i’d highly recommend this pod to anyone, whether you are into the music they’re talking about or not!!! so, so enjoyable.
-
galwayfrankLuv it!I first found this podcast when searching for music industry related podcast... I listened to the one about fan girl hatred in the music industry and stayed for more! They hold such interesting conversations that I actually try to continue them with my friends:)
-
sunnysideuperikaThe cure to your quarantine boredomI only wish that this podcast had been around when I was a teenage girl and discovering all the music that I love now. Sara and Jenna bring listeners the chance to sit in on a conversation that will resonate with not only countless women who have shared similar thoughts, but everyone that considers themselves a fan of music.
-
Sblainer9Super insightful podcast!Jenna and Sara do a great job curating and moderating conversations about fandom, “standom” and music. As people within the music scene themselves (photographers) they bring an extremely personal POV to the conversation. The guests they’ve had so far are knowledgeable and unabashed fans of music (regardless of the artist!) and everyone is so honest about their experiences. I hope people who have looked down upon young girls and fans have taken a moment to listen to a few episodes because honestly, it could help them appreciate music better as a whole.
-
CrispyimI love it!It is such a relatable podcast, and I spend the whole day listening.
-
Brianna Bethel10/10 Must Listen ToI am obsessed with this podcast! These women are putting into words an experience that is universal for women all over the world. I love that they are unapologetically passionate about their love of music. I would absolutely recommend this podcast to anyone!

sarahlmidkiffCouldn’t recommend it enough! This is a must listen whether you are a huge music fan or a casual listener! As a woman who works in music, I related to what the hosts said so much and it was so great hearing people talk about it. Getting more diversity in music is not only about getting more people involved but it’s also about the culture surrounding it which is so well covered in this podcast.
-
trisarat0pzSuch a relatable podcast!Love the vibe of the hosts and the topics they cover are right up my alley. Would 100% recommend to other music lovers
