I refuse to give them my hard earned money to support their patreon when they wanna make comments about people being over certain ages working minimum wage jobs and what could have gone wrong in your life to be at that point. I understand it was just a comment but the way it was said and whole conversation in general contradicts the entire purpose of the podcast, and insults a large portion of your listeners, loyal listeners, and lets them know you think your better then them. Ive been listening for the better part of a year and a half now and I’ve enjoyed pretty much every episode. The contrast between Jacob’s thinking and johnathan‘s thinking is nice to listen to and they are both so incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Can’t wait for you guys to get back to the spin-offs I’ve watched all the episodes of those too and have thoroughly enjoyed them as well. I enjoy listening to your show most of the time, but that Heidi woman is an annoying disgrace. Her ignorant comments about Pete Hegseth’s tattoo was beyond the pale. Even the most cursory research would have explained that his tattoo is the Jerusalem Cross and NOT a derivation of the baphomet . And to make the matter worse she stood by the assertion even after being repeatedly corrected by Jacob. She is very obviously an anti Catholic zealot. I find it kinda pathetic, but if that’s her thing, she should at least do a little research, beyond Wikipedia, so she doesn’t sound so stupid. And what’s up with her cackle? It’s annoying on a Kamala laugh level. I’m glad you don’t have her on more often

You know the saying “listen to understand, not to respond” . While listening to the podcast you can tell that Jacob is often listening to respond. It’s like he can’t wait to go on his next rant full of “ALLEGEDLY”, “IN MY OPINION”, “Imma be honest witchu “ . Understandably, it’s your podcast and you’re entitled to talk as much as you want but as many other reviews have stated - we can feel the ego growing. Johnathan has so much patience and seems to be reeling Jacob back in and attempting to mitigate Jacob’s unhinged rants. I often wonder if there’s a lot of alcohol abuse happening behind the scenes. He sounds like a drunk uncle a lot of the time.

I Been a listener since 2019ish. Always listen every day while at work. The only issue is that on some episodes, there’s too much talking other than the topic. Like episode 591. I tuned in to listen about the suicide Forest. Not what they like to watch on tv. Literally 1/2 of the episode is all about talking other than the topic. Too much side track. Maybe save those long unnecessary conversations for when yall are off the air. Josh and Jacob yall do good. Always have interesting points. But 55 minutes of nagging about tv shows and movies? That’s too much. Gotta tell y’all’s guest to stick to the topic.

I love listening to the actual content. The issue is that there is an ad that pops in there every 2 minutes which is really annoying. I understand that ads help fund the show, but come on with the frequency of the ads!

I’ve listened to the podcast maybe since the start. I’ve always thought the topics were fascinating and the discussions were good. As the podcast went on, Jacob seemed to continually grow a larger ego challenging everyone’s knowledge of any topic solely based off of his own beliefs and research. The most recent episode about ancient bloodlines was prefaced with the biography of the author of the book. In the preface it’s discussed the extensive research and knowledge passed down to the author while living in solitude and making it his sole goal to learn. Despite this, Jacob somehow believes that whatever he’s learned over his short research period from biased sources would suffice to call the author incorrect, even when the author breaks down the entire lineage of the topic. It’s honestly become exhausting listening do the constant pushback from him.

Great content, great banter, honest dudes not afraid to ask really hard questions and present really difficult content. Coming back every few months to review because I love yall! I love your differences of opinion. People might complain when you guys “argue” but it really helps me to sort out my own understanding and wrestle with hard topics and push myself and ask questions like why I believe the way I do? What am I not being open minded about here? If someone passionately believes something even differently from me I want to know why and if no one ever pushes each other then there’s nothing to make us get deeper as people. I enjoyed the episode with Dylan recently too!

Love the show, been listening for a long time now, But Jacob continuously sounds more and more stubborn and closed minded whenever talking about religious or meta physical topics. As he continues to think he knows about these subjects without being able to prove anything within his beliefs it makes him seem ignorant and unintelligent! Keep these subjects on meta so we dont have to hear his opinions on these things!

I just heard her call the Menendez Brothers the MeLendez brothers! This is basic! There is a lot of conspiracy and true crime knowledge that she clearly does not have. It’s like listening to a 12 year old girl who heard about a conspiracy from her stupid older brother and now she wants to tell us! Other than that one guest, good show.

First off I want to say thank you for what you do. I really enjoy listening to you guys. You really need to look into getting Ryan Upchurch on your podcast, he is a musician but does very interesting deep dives into conspiracy topics. His last one was on the disappearance on Kiley rodni I’m sure I spelled her name wrong but PLEASE GET THIS MAN ON YOUR SHOW!

Podcasts have interesting titles and then when you listen to them the hosts cannot complete a thought without interruptions that are not productive to the conversation… And when presenting the material they include so many qualifiers like "allegedly" and "that's what they claim" -- so it becomes less about the content of the story and more about the personality of the guy reading it and it's so important we know that he's incredulous of this story and so much smarter than it… But for some reason has decided to present a podcast about it. just absolutely frustrating from the point of view just to listen to some material presented that is teased in the title.

the fact that your ads have been almost exclusively promotion of a certain political candidate, since the 3 newest episodes. HILARIOUS. ALSO. I don’t know who else has the problem but during the pedocracy episode there were a series of extremely high pitched noises at random time throughout the episode. I don’t know if it were just me or not hearing it
