This show is awesome. It has turned my perspective on many things on its head and quite honestly strengthened my faith in God. The more I listen, the more it confirms the Bible. Don’t believe me, listen for yourself.

I’ve been listening since near the beginning, and for the most part, have been entertained and educated. It has scratched that itch in my mind and heart on fringe science topics that have always intrigued me. That said, the format of the show has really suffered recently. Guests are just about to make a really profound and informed points, and suddenly the hosts make an off topic 80s reference as a joke, or a long comment and rambling question that off-directs, or a mid sentence cut to an ad, and then the previous big point is disjointed or lost. Momentum is lost quickly on this show that hadn’t been happening in earlier episodes. Just my critique. Keep pursuing truth, but consider letting guests talk or fade into ads like you used to.

Luke talks TOO MUCH!

First, I must say that I love this podcast. It has changed my viewpoint of religion and spirituality. This show has opened up my eyes in how I view the Bible and the Old Testament specifically. I thank you guys for this. But….could I offer some constructive criticism? Please cut down the length of your questions and be let the guests speak longer without cutting them off. On some of the shows, you seem you ask a seven minute question and the guest almost has to cut you off to answer. Then before they can explain their answer, at least one of you with interject another question or statement and pull them to a totally different rabbit hole. This became clear to me on the “Invisible University” show. This doesn’t aggravate me enough to not listen but enough to bring it up here. Thanks guys.

Wow so interesting and eye opening. Great show brothers. Thank you for your hard work and as she said you don’t know how much you’ve helped me understand and answer my own experiences. From sleep paralysis to seeing stars moving the hat man to seeing orbes at night in the sky fighting; hundreds of thousands of them. Thank you 🙏 I recommend this podcast to anyone who has questions and want to understand their life experiences.

but if you’re not a paying member, you’re cheated of some great episodes. They won’t even acknowledge when a person hypes them up unless you shell out money once a month. They talk more about Heiser than they do God and they find it ok to exploit people on social media through memes. Once these memes are deemed offensive and insensitive, they don’t address it nor do they apologize. They’re starting to act like they know everything, they interrupt one another and their guests. The main guy is slowly getting pushed out by the other guy who clearly is starting to get more and more annoyed; listen to the red heifer update where one of them talks about being a redhead and the other guy makes a comment where you can tell he’s so annoyed and clearly gaining more control over the show and I’ve seen this happen over the last year or more. After following this podcast almost since the get go, it’s time I move on from Blurry Creatures and all the other wannabe Christian knockoffs.

One of the best testimonies I’ve heard. God bless you boys. This podcast is a great tool for spiritual warfare.

I enjoy almost everything about this podcast, except the volume level of ads. Why are they so much louder than the actual podcast? I get promoting products., just annoying adjusting the volume. Otherwise great podcast with interesting topics and conversations.

Please stop promoting and eating Skinny Pop. The product is completely greenwashed.

The recent guest who decided that St. Francis is Assissi was part of a vast satanic school of occultism was the last straw for me. Although Paul advises us to hold fast to the traditions (teachings) passed on orally, and John points out that Jesus taught more than books can hold, the evangelical show hosts and guests believe that if it ain’t a post-Reformation American Bible Belt form of Christianity, then it’s part of team Satan. So if you are shallow in church history, and don’t care what early Christians actually learned from the apostles you may live this show. If you’re part of the billion believers who know that teachings were transmitted in sermons from martyrs, in graffiti on the catacomb walls, in the Didache, in hymns and prayers— then you may want to pass on this show because you will hear over and over again how 19th century American theology is true and the teachings your church has defended with it’s blood for two millennia are really a satanic conspiracy. If these folks can look at the life of Francis of Assissi and see evil, I can’t trust them to discern what Bigfoot and UFOs are.

Show has gone downhill quite rapidly. Shorter episodes, rehashing the same material, constantly cutting off guests and obnoxious advertisement interruptions throughout.

Continually talks over guests, maybe trying to be funny? The guests are the ones who are interesting.

Never seen a podcast like this before can you do one about Ezekiel?

I always learn something fascinating when I listen to one of these episodes. Makes me see the scriptures in new ways.

I have grown up in the church, and have never felt like I was able to ask questions. And I was left with so many questions with history and many of the things that were written. I finally feel like I’m getting some answers and plugging many of the holes. On top of that, I’m stretching my perception on reality. Great stuff

Good content, bad audio. Guests are at on volume and the hosts are at a different volume. It’s hard to listen to with EarPods.

Interesting perspective, I enjoy it. I’ve moved from skeptical to open to the idea.

Like Biblical podcasts this one brings on low expectations of lack luster theologians, wash and repeat guests. The show peaked in its first 22 months, now it’s on the spiral of late night televangelists selling Holy water. Semi secular podcasts (the confessionals) do a lot better.

Update-Nov 2024: Wow! Laura Sanger just brought the juice from ancient Egypt and back. Oh my goodness. I’m still loving this podcast. Thank you! /oct 2024-A kid came to do some warranty work on my house and was listening to the Book of Enoch episode and I had to inquire about what he was listening to. I found the episode, got hooked, and am loving every episode so far. Still have a lot of Juice to catch up on and hear about but I’m getting there. Just started episode 13. Love these conversations. Thank you for exploring these topics.

Keep on letting the spirit guide the direction of your podcast. It keeps getting better and better. And the Seleh moments are 🤌🏼 PS Dr Michael Lake is the most underrated guest in the show. Obedience is the key to protection from everything evil. Obey the commands………1 John 2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.

When Tim Alberino says super whack stuff, like truly insane stuff, it somehow makes sense the way he says it. I don’t really get it, but I’m here for it. Blurry Creatures is always a great listen.

Love this show! I laugh, I cry, I truly enjoy it. Every week I find something new to think about and different answers to my burning questions. I may later dismiss an idea, but I really enjoy the process of thinking things through from a different perspective.

lol I came here for outlandish stories, now my faith in God has grown and keeps getting deeper thanks to these guys.

Nate and Luke are fantastic hosts! They make the guests and listeners feel right at home. The subject content is so diverse - yet at the end of the day they return to the truth of the gospel and the fact that no matter how blurry things get, Jesus wins. My mom showed me this podcast I LOVE it 🥰, you talk about things no one else dares to talk about.

Sometimes entertaining. The mid-sentence, sneak attack ad placement is annoying. Done so to grab attention before your finger can get to the skip button. Doesn’t work.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” I’ve been loving the show and the exploration of God, the supernatural, and Christ “the blurriest creature of all”. The divine dreams episode is so powerful. I’ve always thought my faith was strong but that episode made me realize how little my faith really is. Jesus is Lord and will make himself known. And are you willing to suffer, or willing to die for him if persecution is required? That hit me so hard. Thanks for the podcast and delving into the unseen things to try and make sense of it.

This pod has helped me work through so many questions I’ve had regarding the supernatural through a biblical lens. The boys always reference paradigm shifters and I couldn’t agree more! I recommend this podcast to any and all curious/critical thinkers out there. Full disclosure, not only will it open your eyes to how amazing our Creator is, but how you see the modern world will most definitely change!

The topics here largely play up the irrational fears many people have. Not a good source of education. Just entertainment, like listening to hokey ghost stories.

They had a great intent. But got lost along the way.

One of the absolute BEST podcasts in the blurry-verse. Two guys asking solid questions of phenomenal guests from a christocentric worldview. Bravo, Nate and Luke. Keep asking, keep learning and keep sharing the GOOD NEWS in your most unique and compelling way.

I struggle to take a podcast seriously when one of their biggest guests is a guy that cosplays as Indiana Jones. Entertaining content? But it’s people like Mr. Indiana Jones that tarnish the work by Hancock and Carlson. Do better.

I am a new listener to Blurry Creatures. I have binged episodes for the last few months since being introduced to Nate and Luke through The Confessionals podcast. My dad has always talked about Genesis 6, the Nephelim, and the book of Enoch. I would just give him side eye when he spoke of these things. After listening, and diving deeper into the Bible, I realize there is SO much more than I have been taught in church! My mind is BLOWN! I can’t get enough! I have even sent some episodes to my Dad! Love the podcast and please keep the episodes coming!

Interesting and informative podcasts about relevant topics, and I enjoy listening to them and discussing with others. I have learned a lot about the past and how it is so important to our now and our future. As well as hearing the personal stories of so many individuals, especially those who have had encounters similar to my own. Great job Nate and Luke!!!

Hi guys! So I discovered your show after hearing the appearance on Hard Proof. I have been on the fence about my relationship to God, the Bible, the church etc because I have had so many questions about how the Bible can be reconciled with what I know of science. This podcast is what I needed. Your show has brought me so much closer to God and aligned me on my journey to Christ. Thank you for all you do and please keep up the good fight!

I love the show! It seems over the past few months, the show has taken a different turn. The hosts speak over the guests and don’t allow them to finish answering the question. The show has become more commercial and less raw and natural. And while I appreciate them trying to make everything fit within the context of scripture, it is becoming more esoteric in nature. I think if the hosts pick an identity and stick with it and not try to cover all things ‘Blurry’ it might be better. They go from having a show that talks about the authenticity of God and the Bible, to somebody shooting Bigfoot, to Mount Herman and the Watchers, to mermaids. Just doesn’t fit IMO.

About 2 years ago, I asked the Lord “Who are the Nephilim?” I took the red pill, and down the rabbit hole I went. Like you guys, I had no idea where it would lead but thanks to you and so many of your guests many of the pieces to the mosaic have clicked into place. LOVE YOU for creating this vitally important platform for these conversations. I have told several people about you and we all enjoy our BC discussions.

I love this show and there really is nothing like it out there. We are living in strange, unprecedented times and Blurry Creatures helps make sense of it all from a biblical world view. I love that the guys present these wild stories but you can tell their perspective is rooted in Christ. I love the variety of experts they have on the show as well.
