Interesting NumbersIt’s the storiesAdam deftly steers the interviewees to talk about themselves and the stories that brought them to Paso and the world of wine. There’s no sense of it being a sales pitch disguised as a podcast—it’s just great stories with unexpected twists, like real humans have. How many interview pods do you know that are consistently funny, compelling, and above all, human? Bravo, Adam.

JA-wineloverLove This ShowI’ve been obsessed with Paso wines for about 2 years now. I’ve been listing to WWTY for about the same. I always get a smile on my face as Adam interviews his guests. His positivity and enthusiasm are infectious. He also has an in depth knowledge of the area, the community, and the wine scene. I finally made it to Paso recently with a fellow wine lover and it was everything Adam talks about. The friendliness, kindness, generosity and welcoming spirit are absolutely real. We even got a chance to meet Adam in person along with a few of our favorite winemakers. Can’t say enough about this man or this place. Thanks for doing what you do Adam! Truly awesome.

dodgerfan1055Connecting Community and CultureJust listened to the most recent episode of Where Wine Takes You. It was so enjoyable listening to the ladies talk about their Paso Robles experiences and creating their own roads into the Paso Robles wine country. From very humble start to keeping up the grind to success. As a latino myself it added another layer of enjoyment hearing these stories. I now have to visit Top Winery and the Alchemist Garden on my next trip. Thank you Adam for having great guest and the best wine podcast! @dodgerfan1055

So many people working in the tasting rooms we visited knew about this podcast too, and we marveled at Adam’s ability to ask all the right questions for those of us still learning about wine even though it is clear that he has great knowledge. sdmusicluvr07Fabulous is all respects! So much fantastic information and insight! I just discovered Where Wine Takes You in the past few days. I have already binged my way through Episodes 26, 27, 28 (both parts), 30, 31 and 33. Fabulous stuff! (BTW... What happened to Episode 29?) We are traveling to Paso in a few weeks. We are definitely going to reach out to some of the folks Adam interviewed. We will be tasting with Nenow Family (Episode 31) and have tasted with Orion Stang (as he described, at his house). We will also be tasting at Sixmilebridge (Episode 28) and hopefully we get to revisit Stanley and Elena at TOP (Episode 12). We have memberships at many of the folks who have been guests on the show and I can't wait to listen to the interviews with people we actually know! Adam - I have listened to other wine podcasts. Yours is by far the most approachable and the most engaging! I suppose part of that is because I have met, and in some cases actually know, some of the guests you interview. It just makes your podcast and those people so much more real, more authentic. So glad we are headed back to Paso soon! FWIW... I too LOVE that Porter Creek carignane! (Episode 28a, I think)

Mountaineer91Best Kept SecretWhile Paso Robles is no longer CA’s best kept secret and it does still fly under the radar for so many visiting wine country. That’s ok by me as I hope it doesn’t become Napa or Sonoma. It’s such a delight hearing Adam’s friendly dialogue with Paso’s leaders in the wine, hospitality, and tourism trade and the vibe of the area just flows from every one of his guests. I enjoy listening and learning all those nuances that make Paso great and it’s been a fantastic primer for my wife and my vacation in Paso this week. This podcast may be the best kept secret. Keep slaying it Adam!
-
Asan323Absolutely great! This is the only podcast I listen to regularly and well worth it! Great job by Adam getting us up close and personal to the winemakers in this beautiful region of Paso Robles. So far the episode with Stephan Asseo from L’aventure is my favorite. Even though I didn’t understand half of it haha. What a straight shooter, candid and open interview that was. Thanks Adam! Just added L’Aventure to my “wineries I must visit” in Paso Robles!

TXEX79Made My Trip!I just returned from my ‘bucket list – PCH Road Trip’, celebrating my retirement and 65th birthday, which included a detour to Paso Robles. Had I not discovered Adam and the WWTY podcast, I would have never even known about Paso. Listening to Adam and his guests…their knowledge, passion and pride for the area and the wine they are producing, led me to solely focus on PR as THE wine destination of my itinerary. As soon as I heard Bob and Maggie Tillman describing the ‘Summit Tasting’, Eric Jensen’s homage to ‘his favorite neighbor’, Justin Baldwin commitment to ‘lead not only for the sake of his brand, but for the sake of the area’ and Daniel Daou’s grit and determination, ‘not to chase the money…chase the passion’, I was on my way. Throw in Il Cortile, Les Petites Canailles and Jeffry's Wine Country BBQ, my trip was set! Thank you, Adam, for making my Cali journey so memorable. Without you and WWTY, I would have never had such a memorable experience, well beyond my expectations! I already long to return…in the meantime, I will continue to anxiously anticipate and enjoy your next episode!!! Cheers!

Laz4WineBest Wine Cast on the Planet???YES!! After visiting Paso in June for the first time from flyover St.Louis, we fell in love with everyone and everything about it. Discovered WWTY earlier this week and binging through 10 episodes so far having a total blast learning so much and virtually taking in the culture. Adam’s unique style and light hearted approach enables the guests to shine through brightly, and add tremendous colorful stories which capture why this place and its community is so special. Episode 9 Springsteen mash up was a brilliant stroke, don’t miss it, and keep up the great work!
-
RobiliumAn entertaining, education by the OGsThis is my new podcast binge. Even as a new winery owner I find the content both educational and entertaining! For example from Cass I learned about code and construction tips on 8 bedroom hospitality, how they adapt to reservations etc. from Justin at Saxum, great insight on farming and grower relations. Neil’s salty stories! Great storytelling. Makes me want to crack open a bottle and join in.
-
MitchBakichGreat podcast if you are into wine and personalitiesAdam does a great job at capturing the essence of Paso Robles Wine Country.
