    Unprofessional and ignorant
Sadly they feel the need to interject their relationship political opinions about real life into the show. It’s embarrassing and it has been downhill since losing Hat. Zacho has some serious anger and social issues he takes out on the show and I hope he gets some help.

ZachO is rude and a bully
ZachO is very smart and an expert at data analysis. However, he takes this as a free license to sling vitriol at anyone who doesn’t accept his words as Gospel - players, devs, or even RidiculousHat. There’s already enough negativity in video games. I don’t need more in my life.

    Best Hearthstone podcast
I listen to a LOT of podcasts. I’m subbed to like 100, including about 7 Hearthstone podcasts… and this is the best one, literally my favorite… maybe tied with Cold Case Murder Mysteries. Wait til you discover the Vicious Syndicate Report that comes out every week. Both the podcast and the report together will do wonders for your climb. Plus, these guys are very knowledgeable and entertaining.

    Great insights
Zacho never answers Hat when asked how he’s doing, he just responds by asking “How you doing, Hat?”.

    Vicious Syndicate Fun and Educational
Listening to Zach-O and Ridiculous Hat exchange witty banter while talking us through the decks and the meta breakdown is a most enjoyable experience. They keep the game fresh and explore the competitive possibilities available in the game. If you are looking for a place to learn about Hearthstone gameplay that will make you smile, this is definitely the place.

    Free the Hat!
Great podcast. Just wish Ridiculous Hat would put Zach in his place a bit more. Zach tends to drone on and on while most people find Hat’s insights better.

A wonderful listen for any Hearthstone player.
There is no better Hearthstone podcast or channel on the market if you’re looking to improve your Hearthstone play and hit the higher ranks. Hat and Zach have wonderful chemistry, and the only criticism I have are occasional audio issues (Hat is often too quiet, while Zach is often far too loud, especially with the letter S), which should get cleaned up over time as the pair gets more experience managing the recording software. I’m really looking forward to how much this pod grows in the future.

    Love Ep. 45
Fantastic podcast that all Hearthstone lovers should subscribe to. Episode 45 blew me out of the water. It greatly improved my ability to discuss the game and my overall understanding of gameplay. Way to go guys!

A perfect balance of analysis and banter
Finally, a podcast where Hat’s puns get the appreciation they deserve. The majority of the analysis is data driven, and they are careful to let you know when they are voicing opinion. Best Hearthstone podcast, hands down.

    Happy listener!
I’ve been meaning to leave a review for several weeks so here we go. I started listening to this podcast as well as Coin Concede around the beginning of Scholomance Academy. I’m delighted to say that after playing hearthstone casually since beta, I finally hit legend for the first time this month with lots of help from these communities. Keep up the great content! Umm..
Guys.. i LOVE you all.. and this isnt going to touch my star rating for you alls.. but after 18.2 nerfs/buffs.. zachy says priest and warlock are now dead... i happen to disagree.. its just now, you can actually have a chance against priest.. namely highlander or yoink! both... MAYBE! And warlock, will be fine under good ol’ galakronx! Heck it may still work with pain.. just not as spiky in the early game like it was... they lost 1 mana regen with darkglare.. but druid lost 1 mana with the kael’thas nerf, and its not dead.. so lets sit back and watch.. and see how this turns out.. aye?! Otherwise... kissies!! And if you are or aren’t, you should both, stay metal! 🤘🏻😜

Awesome Hearthstone podcast focused on ladder meta analysis and deckbuilding choices!!
As a long time listener to the Angry Chicken Hearthstone podcast, I really enjoy how the Vicious Syndicate fills in a niche focused on constructed strategy and ladder meta analysis! I’ve netdecked for a long time from their website, but hearing their discussions on this podcast about why they’ve included the cards in their lists has helped me understand the game so much more! I’ve been playing Hearthstone for 7 years and I think I’ve learned as much about card choices for the meta from this podcast as I have from all my years of playing! It’s helped me better understand how to make my own changes. Not to mention that the hosts are light-hearted and fun, adding a little good natured banter between them throughout the episodes. As a relatively new podcast, you can hear the chemistry between the hosts improve week to week and they’re really starting to get their own rhythm that works now. Also, there’s a great sportscaster team like dynamic with the statistics expert host and the more podcasting experienced host that directs the conversation well. Keep up the good work fellas! Also, I love that they’ve consistently put out weekly podcasts. That takes dedication and sacrifice to stay on a schedule like that. I wish them the utmost success!

    Rolling in the Deep
Like the silky smooth voice of Adele, Hat and ZachO deliver the turning tables of Hearthstone and covert it to easy, soulful, listening. Lots of us are Chasing legendary pavement and with this podcast even someone like me (you) can achieve legend. Frustrated with the game? Feel like you’re falling through the hearthstone sky? Rumor has it these two will help you set fire to the laddering Rain with depth of analysis provided.

Best Hearthstone Podcast for Standard Constructed Meta Analysis
This review is written after listening to the first four episodes of this new podcast. In these four episodes, the podcast has managed to carve out a niche that distinguishes it from other Hearthstone podcasts--it focuses almost exclusively on the standard constructed meta and acts as a useful companion to the weekly Data Reaper report issued by Vicious Syndicate. It does not replace the weekly report and it is not simply a summary of the report. Indeed, if all you care about is knowing the best decks in the meta and how they match up with each other, then you probably could skip the podcast and just read the report. But if you care about a thoughful analysis of the underlying mechanics of Hearthstone's standard meta and card-game design, then this podcast is a valuable addition to the report, containing insights that expand greatly upon what is found in the report. The podcast is structured as an interview of ZachO, chief editor of the report, by RidiculousHat, a class expert for the report. (RidiculousHat is a co-host of another Hearthstone podcast, Coin Concede, which has been killing it lately with great interviews and is highly recommended.) The conversation is generally all business, without banter about personal lives, Hearthstone personalities/competitors or anecdotes about individual games of Hearthstone. I am fine with this, since there are other podcasts that conver this space more than adequately. The discussion so far has been largely tied to the specific constructed meta at the time of recording each episode, although episode four contains a really insightful discussion of the interplay betwen classes and the difficult task Team 5 has in building up the current meta in future expansions. It's a particularly fascinating and perceptive discussion, without being too salty, of the tricky corner that Team 5 has painted itself into. Even if you discover this podcast long after this review is written and the Hearthstone meta has moved on, I suspect episode four will still be well worth a listen. I wish I had the power to require the members of Team 5 to listen to it, but, alas, I'll just have to hope. If the makers of the report are looking for suggestions for future episodes, I would be insterested in hearing about some of the behind-the-scenes debates among the report contributors and perhaps deep-dives into the strengths and weaknesses of particular classes. No matter what, I look forward to listening to the podcast in the future and hearing how it evolves.
