    Scaremongering or Science?
    My older friend, who is particularly susceptible to anti-science conspiracies sent me an IG clip from the podcast host. The host made a provocative claim that store-brand black pepper, like McCormick, is toxic due to excessive lead content. In my opinion, the clip had a more alarming tone than a scientific one, as there doesn’t appear to be science based testing to support this claim - rather the opposite from what I found via Consumer Reports.

    I have my first appointment with Dr Gray coming up soon, so excited! In the meantime I’ve been listening to her podcasts and learning so much! In fact, the podcasts have compelled me to get started on a few things right away: Mitochondrial Complex and Magnesium (I’m already taking Omega 3, D3 & Probiotics). **Topic suggestions: Perfect Amino, certain conditions such as fibromyalgia and sleep apnea, challenges such as no gallbladder or malabsorption issues such as after gastric bypass.     As a nurse, I like evidence based research but I also find that a lot of recommendations that doctors and medical professionals give is outdated. Dr. Stephanie brings on great guests and also gives great knowledge and insight herself.     I found out about Dr. Gray listening to a podcast where she was being interviewed. I've been listening to many functional medicine providers for years and was super excited listening to her. It was clear that she gets the whole picture. Hormones, candida issues, adrenal fatigue and using genetic testing etc. to treat the whole patient! I am looking forward to my first appointment at her clinic and I'm optimistic that, after all these years, I will finally get the help I need! Her book is informative, thoroughly explains things and is easy to understand. It also helps you put the pieces together about what is going on in your body and why. Her podcasts cover such a great variety of topics that can truly shed some insight on health issues that are troubling many of us today. Thank you Dr. Gray for all you do!

    I am a patient of Dr Grays and read her book. It is crazy how her podcast is always on par with what I am reading about or discussing with my Pilates clients! I often pass her podcast on to my clients as well. Her PEMF podcast is awesome! I will listen again and I sent that one to my acupuncturist who is experimenting with PEMF.
