    Fantastic podcast and wonderful production
I’m only one episode in, but I truly appreciate the content and production style. A lot of podcasts have so much glitz and glam and no content and others struggle with technical issues to make a listenable show. This one is perfect. As a new herper, I’m going to be busy listening for some time!

    Great Herp Podcast
Great interviews of different people in the herpetology field. I enjoy listening to the guests talk about the animals they love and the adventures they’ve had studying them!

    A much needed podcast!
Informative, inspiring, and entertaining! The episodes have lots of good stories from the field and also include ways that the community can give back through various conservation efforts.

    Yes! A great new podcast.
A great new podcast about all things amphibian and reptile. Whether you are an avid field herper, or have a serious fear of snakes, you’ll enjoy your time spent listening to Mike and his guests as they talk about these often misunderstood but fascinating creatures. Thanks Mike and keep up the great work.

Entertaining and educational, what more do you need?
What an excellent podcast! The first several episodes were especially awesome for me to hear many familiar voices in a time when traveling and getting together with friends is not always the easiest or necessarily the safest activity. Keep up the excellent work Mike!!!

It‘s great company ob long rides
I love to listen to this podcasts when I‘m riding lonesome into the field to see some herps. Since the tone is so friendly and relaxed it‘s like travelling with all these interesting people in your car. All the guests so far have been folks who shine the light on topics I haven‘t touched yet. Keep it up and thank you for doing this show!

    So Much Enjoyment!
Mike Pingelton is well known in the herping community and literally wrote the book on field herping (The Field Herping Guide). He’s experienced, knowledgeable, and well connected to get a variety of interview guests who have a ton of interesting stories. The podcasts are conversational, so you feel like they are just having a great talk sharing stories in the field over a beer, which I think is often the case. If you like reptiles and field herping, you won’t want to miss an episode.

    So much good
Mike! I look forward to a handful of podcasts during the week, but I gotta say, yours are in a tier all their own (it’s a terrific tier). Really good to hear a podcast with science mixed with the citizen science and hobbyists. Field stories are so great. Keep it up!

This is a really terrific herp related podcast, well done interviews and great topics. I loved the ones done in the field, with the bird calls as background. Well done Mike
