Meg Cabot is one of my comfort authors and I’m always excited to find other people who want to analyze and discuss her work through different lenses. Karter and Maddy are insightful and engaging and it’s really fun to hear from people who have either slightly different nostalgia for these books or are reading them for the first time. Also, it’s fun to look at aggressively heterosexual texts through a queer lens (I personally lowkey ship Mia/Tina but could be persuaded on Mia/Lana). As an autistic person, I was particularly excited to hear them discussing a listener’s tip on Allie Finkle being autistic-coded - I will be VERY interested to hear what they have to say about Samantha Madison and her sisters when they get there. The single “complaint” I have is that the hosts are just slightly younger than me (I’m almost 30) and their recounting their childhood experiences with the Princess Diaries made me feel old, LOL

Delightful! Meg Cabot has such a vast collection of writing, it’s fun to see the different categories and genre discussed though different lenses. Keep up the great work!
