Pretty good coverage of a great show
I’ve listened to several episodes and I have to say that the coverage is great overall. There are times I get the impression that these are two “bros” making immature comments about “a guy can only be so hard”, banging, and “laying down the pipe”. Come on guys, grow up a little and stick to a recapping a great show. Not sure if I’ll finish out the series with these guys…

    My second favorite JUSTIFIED podcast
Admittedly, there aren’t many. But this was the first one I found. I like the host’s format, and their approach to this, one of my favorite TV shows ever. While I’m sorry it’s over now, I’m glad they finished the entire series (and the mediocre, at best, CITY PRIMEVAL “sequel” series). This was always one of my must listen go-to podcasts among my dozens of podcasts I listen to regularly and my hundreds I am subscribed to. Recommended, obviously especially for any fans of JUSTIFIED.

I enjoy this podcast when it’s actually discussing Justified…
…but good gravy, Randy is an utter dope.

Will the podcast leave Harlan alive, or will it end up deep in a mineshaft?
I found the podcast within a couple days of it starting, and I’ve been following along as I re-watch justified again and again. The guys do a great job recapping the episodes, without going TOO deep into the Justified universe, along with a nice mix of pop culture from the 2010-2015 era and a bit of just 2 friends just talking and having a good time. Some other reviewers feel they get too political, but I don’t see it as a problem at all. It’s just 2 guys chatting while talking about a show they both obviously enjoy. Give them a listen, overall it’s one of my favorite podcasts overall covering an outstanding series. If they decide to do another show after justified, and I really hope they do. I hope they consider doing Mr. Inbetween (an Australian show almost nobody knows about, which is a shame because it’s one of the best things I’ve watched in the last 30 years) it’s only 3 short seasons and most episodes are about 30 minutes, but it is amazing. It’s one of the few shows I immediately re-watched after finishing it the first time. The series is one of the most quotable and re-watchable series I have ever seen. It’s a shame it only was 3 seasons and unlike most other series, it went out on top with a fantastic finale’s that felt right, and yet it could also let the series continue in the future if the creator decides to late more. The fact that basically one completely unknown guy wrote, created and stars in it is something I don’t think wa sever done before. Damion Herriman (Dewey) has a large role in Mr inbetween, and he is hilarious as always. That guy is a chameleon as an actor, and he is absolutely fantastic in every show he is in. Deadwood would also make a Great podcast, as I don’t feel anyone has ever truly done a good deadwood podcast (at least I haven’t found one) Another fun short series is Santa Clarita Diet, and it is way better than I thought it would be, and it has tons of justified actors making cameos. They even talk about “is it Real-tour or Real-TER” in an episode, Olyphant is a MUCH better comedic actor than most casual watchers would ever think. Thanks for all your hard work, and I hope you guys keep going

    Look…
The podcast has good information and the hosts can be funny. However, the addition of sound clips as if they were ‘80s era DJs is a turn off. The podcast is usually moving right along and then comes one of those clips. To be clear, it’s not the clips from the Justified that I’m referring to. It’s the lead in and random (unfunny) clips from other sources. If it weren’t for that, I’d give the show a solid 4 or 4.5.

    Review
One of these guys thinks “they were dead the whole time” on Lost, and the other (maybe it’s the same guy) talks about how the Waco series will make you hate the Feds (nothing wrong with that I guess) but doesn’t mention how it will make you feel about David Koresh.

    Fantastic!
I just started the podcast tonight, I hadn’t really been able to find anyone who delved into this show as much as these guys! I am stoked that I get to ride the Harlan Wave all over again, for the umpteenth time! Keep them coming Gents!

    Good overview/Too much political opinion
As an episode by episode review of Justified, this show started off strong. Unfortunately, as the two hosts have become more comfortable as podcasters, they have become more comfortable offering their personal opinions about various political issues that have nothing to do with the show, especially Randy. These are offered up in an insufferable “I’m right, and if you disagree, you’re a moron” attitude, rendering the newer episodes charmless. Get back to the show, boys, and leave the politics to Sunday morning news shows.

A Justified fans podcast for sure!
It’s been fun listening to this show and following along as it has grown! Chris and Randy are true fans of Justified and it shows! They do a great job of calling out the humor, great story telling, character writing, etc, and also where the show has its flaws. It would be cool if they had guests who love the show as much as they do a little more often then they’ve had so far, but other then that, this show is always a great listen and once a new episode pops up, I always immediately listen.

    Great !
I am on my 4th or 5th watch through of Justified which is one of my all time favorite shows. I decided this week to see if a podcast of Justified was available. I tried a few but really like this one. They do a great job of breaking down the episodes and also discuss the actors and provide background of other projects they worked on. I’m only on episode 4 but plan to burn through these. Keep up the good work guys!

    Fantastic!
This show is fantastic!! I’ve loved Justified since the last episode of the first season aired. These guys break everything down in a chill and pleasant way with a TON of humor but without the obsessive vigor of a ‘94 Tanya Harding. Their analysis usually takes the conversation in an unexpected direction but one that is welcome, thoughtful, and entertaining. AND... I agree.. Winona is THE WORST.........but I still appreciate her ‘presence’ on the show. Love it guys, keep ‘em coming!!

Better Friends than Raylan and Boyd
A nice casual pod. Just feels like your kicking back with a couple of buddies and talking about what you just watched. That’s exactly what I was looking for.

Great, insightful podcast about a great show!
I recently started rewatching Justified after quite a while and this podcast is a great accompaniment to my rewatch. I enjoy the interaction between the hosts and the analysis is funny and insightful. I especially enjoy the DeLorean time machine providing cultural context for the when the show aired. I’m looking forward to the next episodes!
