Single but staying educated on relationships for the the future!
I fell off from listening to your guys podcast after ending a relationship that I never planned on ending. But I’m back and really enjoy the knowledge you guys bring to relationships. I might be single but I know what I don’t want to bring into my future relationships & the podcast definitely helps me out!

    Wow! :)
I am so glad I came across this podcast. This is the real and raw in terms of what comes with both dating and marriage. Not a lot of people want to talk about the “ugly and messy parts” and what it takes to take accountability and overcome but this couple does and it’s a lot of what I need to hear. Thank you for this podcast, being a person who has made mistakes and still learning to be a better individual in terms of relationships, I’m learning a lot and absorbing a lot. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like there is a little glimmer of hope in the rocky journey to happiness and love.

I’m so glad my wife and I found this podcast at the exact time we needed it the most. First ran across you guys on TikTok…now I’m hooked on all your content. Great stuff

    Eye Opening
This podcast has just re-affirmed what my husband has been trying to get me to realize, the “Do I Matter?” Podcast really had me thinking was I being valuable to my spouse, had I shown up for him in ways that helped sustained our relationship, was I loving him in his love language and I was/am lacking in a lot of areas of adding value to him and his life. I will definitely re-listen to this podcast and future ones from you two.

This goes out to you episode
This episode had me in the floor I swear y’all are the younger version of my husband and I! Not only does my husband leave his clothes in the same way and cups and I’m so OCD like Asha and to this day 15 years of marriage I still don’t know what to call my mother n law! Lol it’s so awkward to me and I just start talking like y’all 😂 hilarious. 🤷🏽‍♀️

    Great Advice
As a new listener to the podcast , I had found you guys on tiktok; just 3 weeks after breaking up with the lady who I presumed to be my wife, I’m currently 22 and my now ex is 21 so we’re young and were trying to figure out this whole relationship thing alone with no advice from anyone and we were slowing breaking each others without even knowing, losing ourselves, and not knowing how to handle certain situations the right way. But um listening to everything that you guys are saying and the advice that you guys are giving I wish I would’ve found you guys months ago because a lot of the words you're speaking and saying it’s giving me a big eye opener on my whole relationship because with us not knowing how to communicate and go through our hard times it forced up to break down and give up on each other not knowing how to navigate and grow together. We’ve both been through so many hardships in our relationship but never knew how to be there for each other the right way emotionally, physically and mentally it felt like it was tearing us apart. When we had good time they were so beautiful and bright but then when we had the storms we just broke down and didn’t know how to withstand it. I know everyone has their own battles and fights but I feel like if we had the right relationship advice months ago , I feel like it would’ve helped us stay strong together and work out everything that we were going through. Im appreciative of finding this podcast and I am forever going to tune in to better help myself mentally but also to help me gain advice and knowledge for my next relationship, whether if that’s getting back with my ex after no contact or with someone new. The advice will be used the right way. Much love from Columbus Ohio , stay safe and stay prayed up.

REAL…One of my FAVORITE relationship podcasts ever!
I have been with my husband for almost 18 years (married 5yrs) and you guys hit on all of the important topics on how to create and keep an everlasting marriage. One thing that I have learned throughout the years is that marriage is a true commitment that you have to constantly and consistently work on. But also knowing that there’s always more that we can do and work on to make things better. This podcast has allowed me to see both sides from completely different perspectives and has helped me understand what things I can work on. Thank you for allowing us to see the REAL and giving us the tools/conversation to get more out of our marriage. Keep doing what you’re doing!
  • Zoba!!!
Honest opinion on no I in we
There were an array of topics in there and i loved listening to the perspective. I will say that you guys are ppl amazon should continue to sell equipment to, not the sound bites of some of these jokers outchea. I love how you two are vulnerable enough to share YOU so others that truly want to learn can do so. I will keep listening

If you want to change your generational cycles…
Asha and Devon do what they intend to with this podcast and they keep it real. They discuss the good, the difficult and the road to discovering strategies to navigate all of the above. They show up with their individual perspectives and role model their reverence to valuing autonomy, family and marriage.

If I could give more stars, I would!
This podcast definitely makes me think deeper into my relationship and past relationships. It made me realize how reckless I was living and how immature I was. Now moving forward, it has helped reconfigure how I look at relationships and intimacy as a whole. Even when it comes to having children. Thank you!

    Thank you!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for about 2 years. I can’t remember how I came across it but I’m glad I did. My partner and I come from upbringings that didn’t show what love liked like or relationships. After listening to almost all of your episodes, I share them with him so we can have a dialogue about them. I look up to you both for guidance and with my healing journey. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world and discussing topics most people can’t/ don’t/ won’t talk about.

    Episode 15.
I have to say that this episode in particular spoke to my current life journey with my fiancée at this time. We started in what I would like to call an emotional shift of her finding what she has called/prayed for to God in a woman (in me) versus what she was accustomed to. I went through the trenches and emotional turbulence of trying to figure out or having the thoughts of not being enough and comparing to the woman she is accustomed to dating. She has made so many changes and has actively showed me through her actions that she is in this for the long hall. That she loves me and appreciates and values the woman the mother the partner I am, and Asha speaking on how she needed to get to a space of not throwing things back at you, but growing and coming from a healthier space when engaging in those conversations is something I’m learning to apply in my own relationship. Thank you for being vulnerable with us your listeners. We appreciate you both

    Feeding knowledge
Hello Devon & Asha. I have been listening to your podcast since you started making them & I have not missed one episode since. I binged listened to you through the whole pandemic because my relationship at the time was very rocky. You taught me many things. Once I started to apply your podcasts to my personal life, it changed for the better. One of them being committed to manipulation & financial stability. I was too afraid to leave because I didn’t think I could do it on my own. When I met him I lived on my own. 8 months later, the pandemic happened & my lease was up. I didn’t have enough money to move out on my own again. So we moved in together. He was very sweet in the beginning. But he eventually isolated me & would tell me everyday to quit my job & get pregnant. I said no. He got angrier through time until things got serious. Both physically & mentally. He also couldn’t stop cheating since we met. It took me a few tries. But I did the unthinkable & left him for good one day. I started working on myself 4 months ago. I couldn’t be prouder. I would listen to this podcast when I was cooking, running, driving or even walking to my next class. Your podcast touched me. I am 25 & single & the happiest I have ever been in my life. But I am also very open to end up in a healthy/loving relationship. Have my own place, pay my own bills & a have good job. I live in a beautiful city & I couldn’t have asked for the anything more ♥️ - you are right. I need to love me first. - Listening to this podcast has encouraged me to find god & create a better relationship with him. - I learned to trust the process. - I learned to trust god in my process. I am glad you guys are able to talk about different aspects of your marriage & how you guy can create a healthy environment; not only for yourselves but for your kids & everyone around you as well. I have never known how to write such a meaningful review but here you go. Keep up the great work. I follow on your episodes & videos almost everyday. Sometimes on repeat. Also, let us know how your gym journey is going. Would love to hear more about it.

Love what you guys are doing
I loveee what you guys are doing, keeping couples together, giving them pointers and advice on how to get through the highs and lows. Showcasing the REAL and not the fairytale idea of the “perfect relationship”. I also love how you guys brush up on different topics from how to keep things spicy in your relationship to praying together. This podcast can be the first step to so many who aren’t ready to go to counseling with their significant other.

    Realness and Honesty
I truly enjoy listening! It’s nothing like hearing a couple discuss many of the same things you and your spouse are experiencing. Nothing like their realness and honesty! Claiming we can be on their podcast one day ;) but honestly, a great listen!

    Grateful
I think this platform is a very healthy way to address conversations and issues that are not talked about in the household. Being a young black woman working and attending graduate school full-time, and being in a 2 year relationship is hard in general. I appreciate the time and effort that you two put into supporting other couples out there. Much love! #Vday

    A great & fun listen!
Honestly, this podcast is the truth. My husband and I both listen, sometimes together sometimes separately. This podcast will legit have me, laughing LOUD, but more so just relatable. They are hilarious! But as a nursing mom, a young wife, a young couple in general— this podcast is just so relatable and easy to hear out. I appreciate their transparency, I appreciate how they are God fearing, I appreciate their humor and most importantly I appreciate what their saying and their push to constantly be better!

I support this podcast and your union
I found your realationship podcast page on my popular page on Instagram. The episode was discussing what to call your in-laws. I watched the video and afterwards immediately opened my podcast app, subscribed and listened to the next five episodes at work. From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank you both. It has nothing to do with race or status because love is love, but thank you for being a POSITIVE example of beautiful black love. Not only are you educated and spiritual but you’re real. I love how you share your flaws and short comings. Showing us that we all go through things but with faith and a strong support system we can get through it. Please don’t stop posting! We need this type of content out in the world. Sadly as we get older, our strong support systems i.e (parents, uncles, aunts, and grandparents) are getting older as well. We are loosing them and we don’t have a lot of people out here that keep it real and teach like they use to. I just wanted to say that the time and effort that you put into your social media pages and podcast are appreciated. Thank you!

  • Missnicolexxo
One of the best podcasts out there!
Going on 5 years of marriage and I have to say I’ve learned so many different ways to communicate and to better not only myself but my relationship as a WHOLE. There’s always going to be those struggles but it’s all about how you push through it with good communication and to ultimately keep fighting for your marriage! I enjoy listening to these two! 🥰❤️
  • kimmyblaire
    Love the realness!!
“If you do not change your mindset, the only thing that’s going to change is the year” this right here is what I needed, most times we don’t want to accept the fact that the relationship doesn’t serve us anymore but in order to win in life we must lose!! In a world where we have to deal with love/relationship, motherhood, health and spirituality issues daily we have to make sure we pure into us first in order to pour into others, also I love a platform where we can get opinions to reinforce or steer us back on track, love this guys!!
  • Vikkip25
    Amazing podcast

    Realistically Speaking
Devon & Asha still are “real” life couple goals. When they say they are BRING THE REAL BACK TO RELATIONSHIPS they literally mean it. This will be my husband’s and I 5th year of marriage and no it hasn’t been all peaches & cream as the two of our have already mentioned. There will be many hiccups and circumstances that may be questionable in a relationship. However, keeping God in the midst & keeping it REAL is what makes it last. We are currently participating for the 2year in the 28 days of real love challenge. Idk what it is about the challenge but hopefully it ends with a lil Ari running around lol Thanks again for all videos, tips, suggestions, comments, Bible study, fitness motivation and all that the two of u provide to help keep our relationships/lives REAL!!!

    Real People…Real Topics…Real Results!
Very VERY real life situations that occur with most couples. Very transparent and honest. The topics pertain to BOTH men and women and their roles within the relationship. Very relatable and REAL. Not just giving advice but actually practicing what they preach! Definitely check it out with your partner 💙❤️
