I really enjoy your podcasts.you have a great easy to listen to. Reason I don’t watch is because Brit should have been fired for threatening Kenya with pistols and whips. If she had, we would have Kenya. I still hold a grudge against Portia for accusing Candace of planning to drug her for sex. Also she is loud egoistical. For the same reasons I can’t stand Phaedra except she is smarter and delivers her venom more quietly.

I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to the season 17-19 episodes of Sister Wives and s10 & 11 of Vanderpump…. And I laugh at the jokes every time.

I commute 100 miles a day, listening to many podcasts! But with Kara I have the best drives, literally laughing out loud! I love her take and love her commentary! It feelings like I’m kikiing with my bestie, although she’s doing all the talking! Kara, I thank you for speaking!

This is one of my favorite reality/pop culture podcasts. I realized how much I missed hearing from Kara when Bravo went on break over the holidays. I also love when guests join because she gets great people and really does a good job of facilitating interesting conversations. Her new RHONY recaps kept me plugged in without having to watch most of the season (thank god!). Thanks Kara 😊

I am no longer following this show as I have grown tired of her racist statements. This used to be my favorite but the passive aggressive statements towards white people has become too much. Very disappointing.

Kara, you are the best! I am in nursing school and your podcast gets me through all my long drives to class and clinicals. I listen to every single episode even if you’re covering a show I don’t watch because nothing makes me laugh like your commentary. I found this pod while looking for info on Gypsy Rose Blanchard, and listened to the recaps of Life After Lockup. While I generally think podcasts are better with multiple hosts bouncing ideas and opinions off each other, Kara Berry does a good job dissecting the episodes (and her impression of Gypsy’s sad sack of a husband, Ryan, is dead on and HILARIOUS.) I will go back and see what other shows she’s recapped. As a few others have mentioned, there is sometimes some distracting background noise. But only one thing REALLY bugged me: Kara, if you’re reading, PLEASE stop saying “okay?” after every sentence.

Whitney was CORRECT! It is an educated and well traveled preferred topping! Especially for bread puddings and scones. Sad you didn’t know this.

Decent podcast but when Kara whispers it drives me crazy. Worse than nails on a chalkboard.

Kara Berry is legit the most witty, hilarious, authentic, and entertaining podcaster I’ve listened to …and I listen to way too many podcasts. I beyond appreciate her detailed analysis (not merely recapping — analyzing), of both TV & “pop culture” (aka entertainment news). There’s an oversaturation of recap/rewatch & pop culture pods, and as a listener its a bit overwhelming, especially when hosts waste my time rushing thru and glazing over key moments (too many distracted watchers doing podcasts), which is why I wish Kara recapped pretty much everything but she’s already uploading 4 times/week. Her takes, research, attention to detail, passion — always on point. Period. Unfortunately, I’m just not into the Quiverful/Fundamentalist “family” TLC reality show genre, so I haven’t been listening as much recently, but the weekly Pop Culture Roundup eps are everything and I’m really behind on Bravo shows rn so the generous back catalogue is giving — plus the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives recaps made sitting thru Hulu’s ads worth it. Originally discovered this pod from a collab Kara did on Hollywood True Crime Scene. I’d love to see some rewatches/recaps of OG reality TV on the main feed. Been considering the Patreon, but holding back because feed’s hosted on Acast, which already causes my app to crash… and I’m really, really broke rn (sorry). Just had to shout out how much I appreciate this podcast, and Kara for doing it so well, all on her own, no less! A host that’s equally great solo & with guest hosts is incredibly rare. Wow, this review got long quick.

A misophonia nightmare. So many mouth sounds: excess saliva, swallowing, etc. I’ve never noticed tech sound quality before, but this podcast plays in one ear then switches to the other, and it sounds like she’s rolling around in bed occasionally dragging her bedding over the mic. She talks about subjects I’m super interested in and can be funny, and I’m frustrated that I can’t listen because of the mouth sounds. The crummy recording quality is tolerable, but misophonia makes the mouth noises a living nightmare. Girl, please for the love of god fix your sound.

so I watch Reality TV. Kara describes the train wrecks who grace our screens. I love Kara’s Bravo recaps so much that I am now listening to the Sister Wives podcast, even though I don’t watch the show.

Kara Berry is my people. I found my way to this podcast from WWC and I have been listening to back episodes ever since. She has tremendous elasticity in her reality tv and celebrity knowledge. From Rachel Zoe to Alex and Simon without any needed context because we see each other. She stays up on all the rumors and nastiness and she keeps it ril. I will not die sad now. Such a funny show!

Love Kara Berry's soothing voice. Excellent entertaining summaries with lots of side references. Intelligent, clever and witty, with insidious humor style... so pay attention or it might just roll off your ears! Well versed in pop culture. Genteel snark and I'm here for it!

I found this podcast as a recommendation for recaps of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives & I stayed to listen to Kara’s Bravo recaps. I love it! Funny, down to earth recaps. I don’t know why it took me so long to find this podcast, but I’m very happy that I did!

This is the podcast I listen to the most. Kara has the best takes, she is hilarious, and I love her spin on some of these ridiculous Bravo shows. Love the format, particularly the beginning clip from the show being discussed. I even listen to the podcasts for shows I don’t even watch! I subscribed after listening to one episode, and now it’s my favorite podcast. Keep it up, love it!

I’m not sure what happened, but your recaps have become SO LITERAL. Like you’re legit reading from the episode manuscript. You’ve even started to do the character voices (which is very WWC-coded). You have good/witty commentary, and you need to focus on that, not regurgitation of what we all just watched. Maybe a new format would be to pick your top 5-10 highlights and quotes from an episode and then insert your unique commentary there. The recaps are just not working anymore. I think the recap format works well with cohosts/guests, because there is that banter and sharing of thought back and forth. I HATE to compare, but you’ve kind of morphed into WWC… and I listen to both of y’all for different reasons. Your space and strength is your commentary, not re-enacting an episode and doing character voices. Get back to the commentary/personal/unique perspectives and you’ll be good! 🤎

Kara’s well-prepped and satisfyingly complex commentary on popular culture—Bravoistas and Sister Wives in particular—is always a pleasure.

Don’t bother listening

Being a reality TV fiend I have listened to many recap podcasts but was always dissatisfied by people either doing too much straight recap with little side commentary, or doing too much side commentary and not getting into more show content. FINALLY, a recap podcast that does it right! Kara clearly does her due diligence taking notes while watching so all the little nuances within the episodes get touched on which is what I’m here for, and her reactions are gold. Thank you for doing the lord’s work! I don’t even watch a few of the shows she recaps but I still listen to those pod episodes because I love her commentary (and voice impressions) so much. My new favorite podcast by far!!!
