A subversive comedy podcast with Broadway’s biggest names, hosted by Josh Lamon, one of Broadway’s most sought out comedic performers (and it’s not just his mom who thinks so!). These are candid, often inappropriate conversations with his friends ranging from behind the scenes antics to in depth conversations about their lives and daily struggles. Together they explore what it is actually like to deal with the ups and downs of show business and they don’t hold back. “WHY DO WE DO THIS?” Listen to find out. Each episode features a special call to one of his fans who gets to ask both Josh and his podcast guest(s) a personal question.     I’m an unemployed expat who alternates between English-language true crime and travel podcasts throughout my day to avoid existential loneliness and angst. “Josh Swallows Broadway” is the exception to my current podcast listening mix and, frankly, it’s a lot more pleasant to listen to than tales of serial rape and murder (and since I’m dieting, it’s easier to listen to than as to where I can find the best cannoli in Sicily) when I’m buying groceries or folding laundry. Josh Lamon’s infectious laugh, his rollicking sense of humor and his natural empathy radiates through these fun, irreverent interviews. Fiona (errr Josh) is also really sexy. If you’re a fan of musical theatre/Broadway, you’ll love this podcast. And even if you’re not, it’s worth giving a try. He’s funny...really funny.

    Josh Lamon is a Broadway actor and amazing singer who seems to be a friend to everyone on Broadway. He is a natural conversationalist who brings that skill to the podcast. You feel as though you’re listening to friends sharing stories. Josh and his guests laugh a lot, speak from the heart, and even chat directly with listeners, answering questions about theater, or just life in general. I highly recommend this enjoyable podcast and hope Josh never tires of entertaining us, on stage and off.

    I want to listen to this podcast before i go to sleep every night so I can be lulled to sleep by the voices of my fav broadway stars. Listening to Stephanie J Block talk about her life gave me hope about the future and reminded me why I decided I wanted to do theatre in the first place! A must listen for anyone who does or loves theatre.
