Feeling invisible1:1 formatI enjoyed your new format very much Christina. And thanks to your guest for sharing her part of what “doing the work” actually means. I personally am searching for actionable steps, and concrete examples of how to move forward every day, amid the chaos of high conflict, blended family life. Thank you!

Renee BollaConnecting stepmoms along their journey.I truly appreciate Christina’s mission to connect stepmoms on this journey that unites us which is not an easy one. I love her transparency into stepmothering, something not talked about enough. I grew up with a stepmom and became a stepmom myself over ten years ago and I wish I had this community back then. Thank you!

TittyQueenTruly AwfulThat’s it, that’s the review.

hummingbirdkhSeason7 Episode 1. Wow!!This episode hit home so much about knowing the needs of a stepkid and being so frustrated that the parents are doing what is needed to support. I just started listening but this episode made me feel like I’m not alone!
-
Amanda_6The BEST resource for stepmoms. Period. The only regret I have is not finding this earlier in my stepmom journey. The moment I was introduced to this podcast was the moment I no longer felt alone. For years I never shared my honest thoughts with others but as soon as I found this podcast (and IG account) I knew I wasn’t the monster that I thought I was. If you’re struggling with becoming and being a stepmom, please, please, please listen to this podcast. I can’t recommend it enough. Subscribe immediately as it will be the friend and resource you need in moments of doubt, frustration and so many other emotions.

kmarie_29Season 6 Episode 9!I needed this episode today! I needed more info on older kids and how to deal with them acting like they are doing us a favor by visiting. “On their terms” This episode was triggering but in a good way! Not just with my ss but also w my own daughter. Please share more content about older kids because they all grow up and we need to be prepared! Thank you again! Also, Mallory! Amazing!

sarahandbeerWorth a listen, but it’s time to expand the narrative.I’ve listened to almost every episode of this Podcast, which is generally enjoyable for the camaraderie. I can appreciate that Christina has created a place where stepmoms feel validated and I feel that she’s well spoken and has a pleasant voice. BUT I think this podcast is limiting its potential. There are SO many more interesting conversations that could be had about the step parenting experience than what’s happening here. Of course we all share complicated feelings towards biomom and stepkids, but that’s not “radical.” There are much deeper, stepmom focused themes to explore, and I’d love to see the podcast go there.

ChristineHarbinGood Resource—SometimesI do think this is a good resource —and it is nice to be able to relate in so many ways. I have a noticed often the host of this podcast spends some time venting about her own issues with bio mom. I think sprinkles of that here and there are fine —but the amount the host does this makes me feel her bitterness—which I understand. I can feel that way too. But I don’t like leaving the podcast feeling bitter. Sometimes I have to take a break after she vents for some time. Because it isn’t proactively helping me solve a problem. Just making me feel her stress. No disrespect —just my personal experience. Everyone is different. I can be very sensitive to energy.

EleniM212Holy cow relatableEpisode one- when she has a bf, it cycles like clockwork. She is easier to work with, her interest in parenting goes down, and her hostility goes down. That is OUR life. Grateful for the relatability!

MandyJoRyleA must listen for stepmoms! This podcast has been so incredibly helpful to me in my journey as a stepmom. Christina isn’t afraid to talk about the most raw, real, and taboo subjects that come with this role. Whether you are a stepmom yourself, are a partner to a stepmom, or even are a bio mom, you will benefit from listening to this podcast. I can’t recommend it highly enough! I love this podcast and the radical community that comes along with it! ❤️
-
RossanaBA Stepmom must-listen!Christina’s podcast showcases the most relevant, real, and raw stepmom-related topics. It is a place where one can come and feel heard, seen, and validated. Thank you Christina for creating and curating this platform for us. You have created a place where us, *radical* stepmoms feel like we have a voice.
-
JennySpeltsBlended Family HeroChristina gets it! If you need support, validation, or a good laugh when it comes to step mom/blended family life then listen in. This Podcast has pulled me from the trenches!

Erica LFSO VALIDATED!This podcast has been a lifeline for me! There is an episode for almost every situation. So thankful that I’m no longer “flying blind”, and I’m definitely not alone. ❤️

SerenelaThe BEST PodcastI was a stepmom for a number of years before I found this podcast, and it has been a total game changer for me! So real and relatable, Christina anyways has important insights, great advice, and interesting guests. It has been such a help navigating the complicated world of stepparenting, and Christina does it all with so much humor and grace. So thankful for this podcast!
-
emilylouise00Essential listening for stepmomsI love that this podcast represents all kinds of stepmom perspectives - those with young and older step kids, those thriving and those struggling, and I love hearing from professionals related to the marriage and blended family related space.
-
jess m lIf you are a stepmom this one is a MUSTWhen I started listening to a stepmom I absolutely felt like a monster. Christina was the first one to really name what I was feeling and also just REAL about the ugly feelings. But she doesn’t let you stay there and offers helpful tools that have really helped me be a happier and healthier stepmom. Her background as a mental health professional is also really welcomed. She’s real, raw, compassionate and honest! Thank you Christina!!!!!!
-
JSBR55LOVE this podcast!!I look forward to new episodes every week. Christina has been a life-saver for me! I joined her stepmom 2 stepmom program and met another stepmom in my area too. If you are a stepmom her podcast is a must!!!
-
Becca C_29Gave me my sanity back!I absolutely recommend this podcast to any and every stepmom, in any walk of life. Christina and her guests have such amazing insight into our world. It’s given me a sense of community and a connection that reminds me that I’m not alone in my stepmom journey! Radical stepmoms and all the resources and insight Christina shares has given me my sanity back!
-
HighPoint Heat & AirLife Saver for me and my husband!I love Christina and this podcast! It truly helps my mental health and hearing all of the advice, stories & tips makes me feel sane again. Thanks for this! Every episode my husband and I find stuff we can both actually relate to. It helps him as a bio dad as well.

kay_slayySo thankful for this podcast!!Words cannot express how thankful I am that I found this podcast. I find every episode validating and reassuring. It makes me feel connected to a community of step moms, which I have struggled to find in person. Listening to S:4 E:14 now and could not relate more! I have two step sons and just had my first child December 2019, 3 months before the pandemic shut everything down. The struggle of navigating being a stepmom in a pandemic with 50/50 custody with a bio mom that is out here living life like it’s golden while trying to protect myself and my bio child has been some next level stress and has caused strain in my relationship. (Spoiler: they got COVID while at her house then came to our house, exposed us and then obviously had to quarantine with us). I am forever grateful for this podcast and it has helped me feel less alone and helps me cope. Thank you!
-
Vermonter32Thank you!I was at the end of my rope this week, and a friend referred me to your podcast. All I can say is thank you! Thank you for being here to offer this support. It is so needed. The episode about establishing boundaries with the ex and creating your own family has been so validating for me. Thank you!
-
chelsjoharstonGreat! But…Love the podcast the perspective as I am also a stepmom. Will definitely continue listening! However, definitely need to work on the sound quality. Lots of fading in and out, what sounds like bad connection, etc. it’s hard to listen when the quality is so rough.
-
Dom KightAwesome PodcastLove the podcast and how relatable it is. It’s refreshing to hear someone keeping it real!
-
sydkaye1hAmazing!Such an amazing podcast! Feels good to have somewhere to turn for help! Have and will continue to share this with all my other step mom friends!!
-
Ab_EvLOVE LOVE LOVESo real. So right. So valued. I miss G! But every episode is so good and brings more and more insight as to what I’m going through. Loving Naja and how real she is too! I have recently BINGED this entire podcast while at work. Much love to you, Christina!

Lady710lizzyBarely making it through 1st episodeI saw a recent new mom post something from this podcast and decided to listen. I have been a stepmom for a long time and my daughter has had a stepmom for the same amount of time. I don’t think you can understand the true balance of step-parenting unless you are a stepparent AND your own child is also being raised by another stepparent. Until you know what it feels like to open yourself to allow another person to parent YOUR own baby, you cannot understand that feeling. Consider that your privilege because that is a scary and painful thing to navigate. I hope for your listener’s sake- you explore this in later episodes . Putting your step kid’s real mom and their parenting on blast on the internet - whose best interest is this in? I feel like the platform for this is justifying how the hosts feel and getting accolades about how “hard” your life is.
-
Ms rissa SueSuch a breath of fresh airFinding RSMP has really opened up my mind and allowed me to take control of my mental health!!! It is so refreshing and therapeutic to hear the stories that I not only relate to, but can learn from! Even if they haven’t happened yet!!!! I have been able to decompress and have enjoyed the podcasts & will continue to do so!!!
-
Emmyx11Game changerLiterally hear Christina and guests and wish I was talking with them! Sometimes their answers awaken things in me that have helped me literally SURVIVE this. Constantly need this in my life.
-
charliequeueI didn’t even knowI didn’t know just how darn common this kind of situation was — and that’s a little heartbreaking that it is so common. I’m a brand new step parent, been involved for over a year and am still dealing with a HCBM who targets me on social media and in person.... gosh is it tiring and draining to go through, but this podcast has given me strength, insight and tools in order to better my life and my step kids life. If I could give this show more stars, I do would. I can’t express enough just how grateful I am to have stumbled across something like this.
-
crabbyrangoonsHCBMSince I’m also dealing with a HCBM, this podcast has been like hearing my own stories! It’s good to feel like there are other stepmoms out there who are simply loving their stepkids as their own and just doing their best while navigating this crazy journey as a stepmom. Love the laughs this gives me, helps me take my role a little less seriously
-
ThisisjackiaNewEver since I found this podcast I have been binging. It is literally like therapy to me. I felt so alone before and finding other pages that led me to this podcast feels like a weekly therapy session. Helps me reset.
-
SunshineawaitsSo Happy I Found ThisAs a brand new listener I chose Season 2 episode 18 because I have been long term dating a man who has two children from two different mothers. I am childless and in my late 20’s and the information here is so so comforting. Thank you so much.
-
TallAwkwardChickI feel seenY’all are making me feel so much less alone. You don’t know me but I feel you understand my struggles. Thank you for putting your personal lives out there so I can feel some solidarity. Much appreciated.
-
kourtnie69So relatableI love these two and I’ve never met them, but I feel like I know them! Seriously, I can’t express how happy I am to have found them, for being so real, unfiltered and saying what they feel with no regrets. This is the most validated I have felt being in my role. Listen to them if you are a stepparent! They talk about it allllll.
-
V V 3AngelsThese two women are angels. Their ability to share their unique stories, bring others in to share their stories, and make the rest of us feel less crappy in our stories ... is so needed 💛
-
asedttvhjNever related to a stranger more than I do thisSeriously the posts I see on IG are amazing I thought why not listen to this. And I think I’ve found a home. No one I am friends with understands the true dynamics of step parenting. It’s hard and I wanted to thank you for making me feel at home and welcomed to this tribe. Looking forward to listening even more.
-
ToparrisigoThank you so much!!!I just listened to season 2 episode 19. It was soooooo good to hear from a couple of full time step mom situations. I know it’s rare, but I would looooove if you guys did more on those. It’s such a different dynamic. Y’all are awesome, and I am so glad I found this podcast!
-
Elops SaurusI feel so seen! And understood! They don’t know it, but this is my new crew now. We’re forever friends! ;) Seriously though, as a new stepmom without many stepmom friends, this podcast has been my saving grace! Somehow these incredible women are not only able to put all my complex feelings into words, but they help normalize what I’m going through and with that I don’t feel alone in it anymore! Yes, I have my partner but sometimes I have trouble untangling the feelings and expressing myself to him. This podcast always seems to come through. I’ve even had my hubby listen to a few episodes and he always comes back with a big hug saying “I get it now”. Each episode is truly a beautiful gift brought into the life of this rookie stepmom just trying to navigate the chaos. Thank you for what you do not only on this podcast, but on social media too! I feel so much better equipped to handle the full package deal now!
-
JulieAnna HowesSo underrated! There is something ridiculously comforting about people going through the same thing as you, making you feel normal. I seek guidance in growth in all my relationships and their podcasts have opened my eyes to ways in which I can do better many times. This podcast is seriously underrated in the way that they should have tens of thousands of 5-star reviews and even more subscriptions. You won’t be disappointed!
-
stepmomincolumbusI have never related to a podcast more!I found this podcast while crying in my home office, trying to work (I’m also a social worker) during quarantine, while secretly eating cheez-its that I’ve hidden from my stepchildren, feeling like a failure! My stepson had just accidentally broke an item given to me by my now deceased father and I had to walk away to keep from crying in front of them. Thank you to both of you for making this podcast! It’s truly a place where I can go and feel like I’m not alone in the struggle, the ups and downs of being a stepmother. You both saved me today! ❤️🥰
-
SkmartinezI love these ladiesThis podcast has been an amazing escape, they get what my life is like cause they are living it. Highly recommend!!
-
tiarrak1Genet & Christina Keep it Real! Thanks for saving my sanity. Y’all have verbalized a lot of the thoughts us SM’s have & feel guilty about and have really normalized a lot of things for me. It’s been cathartic listening and hearing Christina and Genets ‘take’ on certain situations and hearing their perspectives. Especially regarding “ours” kids. I’ve loved listening to this podcast while at work and hearing women who just get it. Ya know you aren’t just listening to the Polly Perfect StepMom. They’re real and keep it real & always give a good laugh xD. Keep up the content, definitely my favorite Step-mom podcast so far. **oh! and my favorite thing about this podcast are it’s relatable and relevant topics. There is a lot that goes into being a step mom and a lot of different ways that a blended family can play out. I feel like Genet and Christina choose to speak about topics that are more relatable and I really resonate with. I recommend to all SM’s who like to keep it real.

HdjcchdjhcijeicjkdAll the realness!I’m a stepmom of 4 kids and a bio mom of 1. All are teenagers. Seriously. BM is HIGH CONFLICT. She’s an alcoholic and lost custody for several years with supervised visitation only to get 50/50 back about a year ago. It’s soooooo hard. Kids are in the middle and have become toxic towards me because of her influence even though I raised them as their only mom for years. My husband and I only fight about them and BM. This is the first resource of any kind that speaks truth about being a stepmom. Being in this role is so lonely but glad to have found you awesome ladies! Thank you!
-
IvyMadisonSo RelatableY’all are just what I need. You’re so relatable & I just want to have a glass of wine with y’all & cry 😭❤️
-
DizzyDoll5Good content but STOP SAYING “KIDDO” so much :)I really appreciate the topics and dialogue that goes on in these podcasts. I just started listening last week and I’ve binge-listened — and the quality after the first 3 episodes improved drastically. The first 3 were really quiet — so quiet that I couldn’t listen to them in the car or shower because the volume couldn’t go up high enough to hear. 🤣 I also feel so much validation by hearing that what I’m going through as a stepmom is normal. Thank you for sharing your life with us! My biggest gripe (it’s minor and I’m being picky but it greatly annoys me...) is how much you use the word “kiddo” to describe your step kids. It’s easily a dozen times each episode. I understand not wanting to say their names to protect their privacy but call them stepdaughter, step-kid, daughter, son, stepson, child, etc. but stop referring to them as “kiddo”. It’s my only gripe about the podcast and I don’t know why it irks me but is does.
-
clbe92.Just what I’ve needed!I haven’t stopped listening to this podcast since I found it. It is everything I have needed to hear and then SO much more!! Thank you ladies for creating such a real life platform. Xoxo
-
SM x2Just Subscribe Mama!Too relatable it’s like listening to yourself and/or talking to a confidant. Now Where’s my wine 😂
-
JennsarinanaSpilling the tea on step-parenting!Thank you for this podcast!!! I finally found one I can relate to!
-
lizbetchThis is so goodThe step mom struggle is so real and it's so hard to find a space where any one can relate. This literally feels like i finally have step mom friends (which i dont in real life) literally no one can understand what I'm going through and this just feels like finally some one else who gets it!
-
LittlelmlJust what I’ve been looking for!!I’ve been searching for a resource where I feel I can relate to other bonus moms and now I’ve found it! This podcast truly feels like you’re sitting with two friends talking about the challenges of this role that most of us may not have planned for ourselves of a being a stepmom. Thank you for always being open, vulnerable, raw and empathetic for the sake of all of us listening! Please keep doing what you’re doing because it is important!!
