Original review July 2024: Was a fan of John Rocha when he was part of the Collider crew, and just recently rediscovered him again with his geek buddies on this great podcast. They speak intelligently, with great passion, and listening to their podcast is like meeting up for brunch with good friends and having a great time talking about movies and tv and all things geeky. Give them a listen!!

I am been a fan of the buddies for the very beginning and they are still my go to for everything nerdy.

That commercial intro was awful. That the viewer could not be . Pass is a big no no to me.

Fun group of guys with well thought out reviews and discussions.

Interesting show with good topics and discussion. Definitely one of those shows where you listen despite the host (John) instead of for them.

I love the show. I've been listening for years and look forward to each entertaining new episode. But one request, can you mix down the levels of the commercial ads? I listen with headphones and whenever a commercial comes on it's double as loud as the show sound levels. To keep my ears from bleeding, please match sound levels of the show and the ads. These three guys give a fun, insightful and intellectual view of everything in the geek world, including Marvel and DC movies, and more. Their banter and comedic fun gets you hooked, and makes their podcast that more enjoyable. I highly recommend listening to The Geek Buddies!

I’m a huge fan of John, Shannon,and Michael are the long time college friends/ colleagues we all have in our lives who share the same love of movies, tv shows, animation, genres, and pop culture and current news . Their funny and it’s great to hear guys have three differing opinions and come together in the passion they have for film respectively. Mike has the zingers and insights into corporate culture . John has the passion and desire to inform the public of pop culture and politics . Shannon is the level headed one with the amazing music transitions . Their a dynamic duo for sure either catch them on their Apple podcasts or subscribe to their YouTube channel. The Hot Mic is also a good show as well.

I religiously listen to all of the geek buddies shows. I wish we can get more of these from them. They are an awesome group of guys and their banter is just chef kiss for this show. Make it very informative and entertaining . Keep up the great work guys.

I really enjoy the banter, guests, and honest discussions. One of my favorite podcasts! I’ve been listening since it started and it was a bright spot through COVID. Hoping that they also cover Halo and some of the new Star Trek shows.

I love these guys’ discussions so much sometimes I’ll listen to topics that don’t interest me just to hear intelligent people talk.

I’m a mom of two grown sons who I’ve taken to many avenger films over the years. I was the annoying mom asking the questions during all the movies. Lol! During COVID quarantine my 18 year old youngest son watched all the movies one by one and answered all of my questions. I’m addicted to Marvel now. He is now in college so I watched Wandavision on my own. I LOVED listening to you guys and you answered all my questions. You were a blast to listen to and I loved your chemistry. I tried listening to some other podcasts also but they couldn’t even compare to you. Can’t wait for Falcon and The Winter Soldier!

John, Michael and Shannon shine as three friends who do a tremendous job discussing the latest news in comic book adapted media and other related “nerd culture” stuff. It has been a real plus lately adding Emma for their WandaVision reviews. These reviews are, hands down, the best podcasts and YouTube have to offer. You must give them a listen. I’ve been an avid listener to the Top 10 which led me to this “good time” podcast. I am so glad John doesn’t work for that “other company” anymore he seems to have an electricity about him that reflects in this crew and their entertaining work. I’m glad I gave this one a listen... now I’m hooked!

Really love listening to these guys. You can tell their actually buddies who love everything geek. Gotta love when Rocha lets his imagination get the best of him and Vogel has to level him out. I know Rocha is a talented podcaster but I think is best talent is surrounding himself with amazing people. Whether that be geekbuddies topten or cinefiles he always has great chemistry. Oh yea Shannon your great too!

The Geek Buddies has rapidly become one of my favorite podcasts. Listening to Shannon, Mike and John makes me feel like I’m sitting dow to a conversation with my good friends. They are smart, funny and with different enough opinions to keep the conversation interesting.
