Loved the MPW reunion episode and DVD Infatuation. I haven't heard a single episode of this podcast I didn't thoroughly enjoy!

I’ve been a fan of Jay’s podcasting since years ago listening to Horror Movie Podcast and Movie Podcast Weekly. His insights here continue to impress, especially on a solocast - not an easy thing to do. I appreciate his attention to horror (my favorite genre), but as also a lover of all cinema, I enjoy his thoughts on non-horror as well. He gets great guests on as well. I don’t always share his sensibilities and opinions, but I always respect his reviews.

Mr. Jason Pyles, the finest host a podcast could ever wish to have. If this solocast is all we can get, then let it be so. But no, fortunately, there is now Horror Movie Weekly, where Jay of the Dead, along with Billchete and the mysterious Lady Phantom review recent horror movies every week! Hopefully, we will see more from this podcast soon, as Considering the Cinema is great!

Being that Jay was my favorite part of the HMP I of course was elated that he started this podcast. I love his personality and the way he podcasts. I can only hope he will put eps out more frequently. And, Jay, I am expecting a review at the end of your 40 weeks of straw-headed horror 💯😂

I've been listening to Jay of the Dead across several different podcasts over the course of the last 5 years, or so. He's always entertaining, personable, witty, and has fantastic insights into all the films he reviews. Jay's podcasts feel like having a conversation with your best friend. Highly recommended.

I have been listening to his podcasting for 4 yrs and he is always thought provoking. I also love his voice. He delivers his thoughts using a pleasant nongrating nonaggressive tone that I could listen to all day-the opposite of some of the semi hysterical podcasters you often run into. He is the thinking person’s horror movie podcaster

Jay loves movies. He loves Horror movies the most, but he loves a lot of other movies too. He also loves to talk about them and actually has studied how to do it!! (I'll bet he got all A's)The result is; Passionate podcasting by a guy who loves to do it and does it well. If you're looking for a quickie, this is not your guy. He's gonna do it till it's done right. I love that.

So glad Jay has returned to podcasting even if it’s sporadic. I love to hear his insights especially in regards to horror films.

So glad Jay is back podcasting. I’ve been an avid listener of Horror Movie Podcast and Movie Podcast Weekly for over a year now. While I was sad Jay stepped down from hosting those two podcasts I supported his decision. Once I discovered his new podcast the void in my life was filled. I try to support this man any way I can because he works hard and he’s from my home state of WV. Got to support a fellow mountaineer. If you’re looking for quality podcasting about the cinema stop looking because this is it. I love this podcast and I’m looking forward to more episodes in the future. 10/10

The first podcast I ever listened to was The Horror Movie Podcast with Jay of the Dead, Dr Shock, and Wolfman Josh. It’s been my favorite podcast ever since. Years later, I’ve listened to dozens of other horror podcasts, but Horror Movie Podcast is always my go-to. Nothing can beat a podcast that’s dead serious about horror as those guys. While I was sad to hear Jay leaving HMP, it’s been left in great hands and I’m still an avid listener, but Jay of the Dead was easily the biggest reason why I listened. So now I’m here enjoying Considering the cinema, his short-form side gig. It’s classic Jay of the Dead with his movie reviews and film theory. I could listen to this guy dissect films for hours. In fact, Jay of the Dead is the reason why I started my own podcast. I look forward to every episode of Considering the Cinema!
