EE2140I love this so muchEverything about this podcast is excellent. The organization of it and reading plan, the fact that there are no ads, and the actual daily content / summary of the reading. This podcast makes a daunting task do-able and approachable. Thank you so much to Tara Leigh and the Bible recap team for what you do.

Cz MumZFinding Joy!My life has been changed forever this year because of the journey The Bible Recap has led me on towards really knowing God and loving Him more and more. I never realized how much I did not know and/or understand! I was such a baby in my faith and I have experienced such growth and am gaining in knowledge. I can't help but share what I read with others. I will continue reading the Bible through again each year. He truly is "where the joy is!"
-
the jdhdMakes it so easy to do bible journalingI love how this breaks down bigger parts of the chapters instead of just talking about a few of the verses. I love that they go into deep detail explaining and analyzing the chapters makes it so much easier to have an initial understanding of the chapters before reading them
-
BaylorBertEveryone should use TBR!I have grown so much in my understanding and love for God through doing TBR. I’ve loved seeing evidence of God’s kindness throughout scripture but particularly all over the Old Testament. Thank you, TBR team!

Chantell.07Love this podcast!A friend of mine recommended this podcast while reading through the Bible and I’m so grateful that she did. I was on a journey to know God as my father and the emphasis on looking for Gods character instead of using the Bible only as a rule book has transformed how I read the Bible and increased the Joy in reading the Bible. I feel like I’m getting to know God and exactly why I love him and why he’s a good father. Highly recommend!

blakie56My favorite way to read the Bible in a yearI have finished the Bible in a year using lots of different plans, but this is my absolute favorite. Tara’s recap is so informative with helps to understand difficult passages and humor to go along with it. I highly recommend this, and if you have 8-12 yr old children, they can listen with you to the Bible. She has a recap in book form just for them.

CGTCMOMKeep Coming Back!I've been a follower of Christ for a long time and have read through the Bible. This has brought it again new and fresh, and I'm excited how much I've learned about God. TLC and her team are full of wisdom, and this has been life changing. Pass this on to friends, don't miss it!

say cheese! This podcast helps me read and understand the BibleI was always thinking I couldn’t understand the Bible, the Bible Recap helps me stay on track and Tera-Leigh breaks it down and always has good insights and explanations. Thank you Bible Recap! Started mid year in 2023 and this year I can’t wait to have read thorough the whole Bible for the first time in my life! Thank you Bible Recap! Thank you TLC! He truly is where the Joy is!

GreeneBoyMeThis POD is great(!), EXCEPT one thing…The fact that Tara Leigh thinks the disciples were teens/kids. Smh this is a terrible misunderstanding that has not died in some Christian circles. These were young MEN not boys. 18-29 age category most likely. No adults are following little boys (after the master ascends to heaven) weathered people that been thru things. It’s a bad teaching. Kinda like Jesus sweating actual blood; another bad thought that won’t go away. “..as it were great drops of blood”. He was sweating like a marathon runner; not blood lol I cringe when I hear preachers say both of those. Other than that this is a wonderful work and I send it to all Christians I know that want daily nutrition. LORD bless you all and especially you TLC :-)

ENCOURAGED IN NMFound LOVE for Father GodJoin Bible Recap. Such a tremendous blessing!! Prior to joining Bible Recap I had never read the entire Bible. I especially didn’t like reading the Old Testament. I feared and disliked Father God. I thought He was vengeful, angry, and mean. I always loved Jesus and the Holy Spirit but did not love Father God. Reading the Bible in chronological order and hearing about Father God through Terra-Leigh’s deep love for Him and His deep love for His children has created a deep love for Father God in me. I have learned how to see the positive, loving attributes and fatherly actions of Father God toward his children. Life changing! Thank you TLC. I now LOVE Father God.❤️

Country girl loveSimply amazing.I am almost done with my 2nd year doing TBR and I am just so beyond thankful for it. So beyond thankful for TLC’s obedience. I have learned so so much in the last 2 years and I am sure this will not be my last time reading along with TLC. What a fantastic journey through the Bible!

NPHS2000First time reader and listenerFirst time to read the whole Bible. I was baptized at age 12. While I thought I was a Christian , there was so much I didn’t know. I had no idea what I had been missing my entire life. Thank you for your wit, humor and insight into the Bible. My life has been changed for the better because of your podcast.

LislynnLife Long ChristianI am 59 & born into a Christian family. I feel closer to God than I ever have after nearly completing my first year through the Bible. Tara Leigh does an amazing job of holding my hand during this journey & has helped me understand so much. I am thrilled to reach the end of my first year & looking forward to next year & hoping to grow even closer to the Lord. Thank you!
-
TLROATerrific! What a wonderful resource! The daily recap of the verses read and the additional articles and videos are so helpful in growing in knowledge and wisdom. As I read recently in an Alistair Begg devotional, we can be charmed by the Word without being changed by it. Thank you to the TBR team for your prayers and words that encourage a life to be changed and to experience His joy!!

MJG🙏New Mercies Everyday!!Thank you Jesus and Tara-Leigh for sharing your gifts with us and the Truth of God's word! I haven't been on board too long but I am loving it and learning so much! "Hey Bible Readers" & "He is where the joy is" start my day and often end it as I replay that day! I love that what you share that day is so often repeated in a sermon on Sunday and in my Bible Study Lesson that week! God knows I need to hear stories & lessons over and over again! ❤️I love sharing TBR with others because you make it so easy to access! I have your new book now for my grandsons! Thanks for ALL you and your team do to achieve that!! God Bless You!! ❤️🙏

Trik MSound, Understandable and Eye-OpeningI have read the Bible consistently for years. I’ve also done a Bible-in-a-year plan before. I thought I wouldn’t likely do that again because—for me—it seemed like too much to digest on a daily basis. I found that I was too inclined to “check the box” of doing my reading and not get enough out of it. Being in the Bible Recap this year has been a very different experience. I’m much less inclined to treat my reading as a task to get done. The teaching is excellent and often Tara-Leigh touches on things that I was wondering about (or have been for some time). She is clear, succinct, well-researched and does not presume her interpretation is the only correct one. Jesus is clearly at the center. One thing that I richly experienced this year is I can’t remember a time I was so excited to arrive at the gospels. After putting in the sometimes-challenging work to read through the Old Testament, I found I was almost giddy to get to the New Testament and the good news of Jesus. The Bible Recap has overall been a great experience and I can’t recommend this plan highly enough. And the app works great, too!
-
ofnriskwtbrnSuch a blessingThe Bible Recap has been so instrumental in my walk with the Lord. I truly feel like I KNOW who God is now. Sometimes you read something (especially the Old Testament) and it’s like, Woah that was a lot. But then Tara Leigh unpacks it in such an easy way to understand and it all makes sense. I am so thankful my friend told me about The Bible Recap. It has changed my view of the Old Testament and grown my relationship with God. I recommend this to anyone who is struggling to understand the word or just wants to understand it better. What a blessing! 🙌🏻❤️🙏🏻

Love Bible Recap !Love Bible Recap !A friend from church recommended your podcast to me several years ago .. I was immediately hooked ! Tara Leigh does such an awesome job of breaking down the scripture in an easy way to learn it and make it easy to relate to ! I have told many friends and family about it … it has helped me have a regular and daily lesson from the scripture … I am 65 and still have so much to learn and I was saved and baptized at age 9 and have been in church all my life ! Thank you so much for the whole team and keep up doing God’s work !❤️

JA3113TBRI’ve read through the Bible before but never with the clarity & understanding that I get from guidance of TBR. I am excited every morning to get into the Word with TBR to help me further understand & see what God has for me today! God put TBR in my life to help me better understand His breathed truth. I love learning facts of history & the landscape that helps better understand the teaching. I’m on my 2nd time through & look forward to starting it again next year. I never understood or enjoyed the OT but now I look forward to it & seeing Jesus all the pages of the OT. I also love the God shot each day to round out the reading!
-
Sara in OcalaHabitsI am grateful for finding your podcast! I’ve always struggled reading the Bible on my own and then understanding (or at least wrapping my head around) what I was reading. Finding a quick DAILY way to read and understand has led to other healthy spiritual habits. I can honestly say I’m not the same person I was two years ago. Here’s to year 3 and hopefully many more to come. Funny how reading the exact same words every year can bring new understanding each and every time. Thanks for helping me make God’s Word a lifelong habit ❤️
-
McAdoo5The Bible Re-CapI have so enjoyed my trip through the Bible this year. I’ve read the Bible for years and last year went through it from beginning to end. A. MaguireLeviticus means somethingTara Leigh makes the Bible reading plan not only educational but fulfilling. Reading along it can be tough to connect things like the Laws of Leviticus to modern Christian Life but if you only listen to a minute of this show make it the last one with her GodShot, a mini message that connects the day’s reading to today Update “the length of two CVS receipts” lol
-
Trm4JesusWowI am 72 years old, Saved when I was 40, and read through the Bible a couple of times in that 32 years. Last year, my two daughters spoke to my wife and me about joining them in The Bible Recap. We have recently finished the year, and it has changed my life. The wisdom the Lord has imparted through TLC and The Bible Recap is amazing. So many things in my readings in the past I just glossed over and now I understand so much more how the Lord is working in my life. We as a family have shared our thoughts and insights and grown in our relationship with both the Lord and each other. We are going to do it again next year and I know that the Lord has much more in store for us. Thank you Jesus for putting The Bible Recap in my life.
-
O$$iKAwesome resourceI love how Tara-Lee shares her insight but also encourages listeners to seek out answers from scripture ourselves. Awesome resource!
-
MatlockjaEncouragingI enjoy listening along with the reading each day. It’s enriching to hear TLC’s take on scripture and helps me engage more with what I’ve read.
