    Lovely podcast!
This is my favorite interior design podcast. The hosts are knowledgeable without being snooty and this show makes me so happy. For the last week I’ve been ignoring the news and listening to back episodes and I’m feeling wonderful. Thank you!

    Uplifting and Fun
I appreciate this podcast so very much. I’ve just discovered it this year after deciding to go back to school full-time to complete my bachelor’s degree for interior design. Sophie and Kate, thank you for your wisdom and laughter. I’m renting a home while I’m in school but I can’t wait to buy and design the interior on my own home someday. Sending you so much love from Orlando, Florida!

    The absolute best
My favorite podcast, by far. Sophie and Kate have taught me so much and have been particularly helpful as I’ve been decorating my new (to me) house. Even though I’m an American listener, I adore all the British-isms and can take the suggestions and apply them in my home. Hear, hear for these two lovely, smart, thoughtful podcast hosts!

    Brightens up my day
The podcast that got me into podcasts! I’ve marathoned all the episodes, and I’m terribly sad to be through them all. Kate and Sophie’s lovely banter is a bright spot in my day, and chock full of inspiration.

    Love love love
I’ve been listening to the show since close to the beginning, and I still love it now as much as I did then. Kate and Sophie are wonderful, and I am always in a better mood after having listened to their advice, wit, and interviews. This is a feel-good podcast with loads of interior design information, and I love that the advice given is so often down to earth and accessible for those of us living and working on a budget. So happy the show is back after a bit of a break!

    My favorite podcast
The Great Indoors is my favorite podcast. I started listening during lockdown and Kate and Sophie have been getting me through ever since. I think what I love most is that the hosts don’t always agree, and they both do a great job explaining their points of view. I also just love their sense of humor, and hearing their lovely voices reminds me of chatting with my English family over tea in cozy sitting rooms and kitchens… Anyway thank you so much Kate and Sophie for this cheerful, funny, informative podcast!!

    Mad about the colorful podcast
A bright balance of amusing and informative, Kate and Sophie’s podcast ticks all the boxes for me—knowledge, personality, humor, wit, and the right amount of both structure and freeform gab. Apparently some people think they laugh too much. Personally, I like things that are bright and funny, so this is my new favorite listen.

    Such a fun podcast!
I listen to the show in the afternoons when I work in more dull tasks at works. Better than a cup of coffee to perk up. These ladies are hilarious and full of great insights fir our everyday design quandaries . I listen from Denver USA. Love you guys!

    Warm, Cozy, Informative and Uplifting
Every Sunday morning, I clean and tidy my home while listening to Kate and Sophie. It has become one of my most loved rituals, and a source of light during these crazy times. I’ve been a fan of Sophie Robinson since seeing her on the Interior Design Challenge a few years back, and have listened to this podcast ever since. The advice is inspiring, their friendly banter uplifting and comforting. My husband even said he loves to hear Sophie’s infectious (and hilarious) laughter ringing through the rooms, as do I (we often start laughing along with her, even when we aren’t quite sure why). :-) Kate is lovely too and I love hearing them chat about style and argue about design crimes. From a friend in San Francisco, California, thank you Sophie and Kate!

    water therapy
Hi! As much as I adore the podcast, you shouldn’t promote cold water therapy, as it can literally kill someone (e.g. asthma). I took time to check the Pubmed and there are none “good science” papers about legit benefits of the cold water therapy. Yes, it might work for you for some period of time whilst your body has stress-protection resourses by boosting the mood via the release of adrenaline and endorphins (reaction to stress) but the covid pandemic isn’t the time to overdrive an immune system. and other body systems. So, please do what you must but do not promote harmful practices for such a big audience. Much love! Ana

It’s obvious Sophie and Kate puts extraordinary effort in covering salient topics and finding guests that are authentic and truly care about being a positive force in this world - the insights they bring to bear is still mind-blowing Every. So charming!
Absolutely adore this podcast! Sophie and Kate are so charming and giggly and happy and I could listen to them talk about interior design all day. They’ve provided a wonderful retreat from everything 2020 has brought. I live in California and in addition to the pandemic, social and racial injustice, Trump, kids home all day long, we’ve also had to cope with wildfires and it’s all just too much! We all need an escape and this podcast is just so lovely and full of wonderful tips and tricks!

    Listening from America
I recently bought my first home and have always been interested in design and aesthetics. I have loved listening to this podcast knowing that I have a blank canvas waiting for me to show my personality. Kate and Sophie are fun to listen to and show me how to do that. I enjoy their playfulness and how they stand by their design choices despite trends. When I listen to them it feels like a big push in the right direction of embracing my true inner self and expressing her. Thanks!
  • lululovesposcasts
    Lovely, Fun and Informative!
This podcast is a treasure! I love interior design and am obsessed with hearing how Kate and Sophie dissect all things decorating. During Covid Times in the US, plus terrible wildfires where I live in California, I’m quite literally trapped inside. These two are keeping me sane. Please please please keep the laughs and inspiration coming, Kate and Sophie!

    Highly Recommend!
I was gearing up to clean and do the dishes, just feeling the weight of the world with quarantine and race relations, when I came across this podcast. What a breath of fresh bubbly air! These two provide the most lighthearted yet practical advice on making your home a special place with zero pretense. If you are looking for an educational and fun way to be distracted for a moment, tune in! Thank you ladies for shining your lights and exposing the silver lining!

I will take all the advice you can give! Makes my morning commute better and leaves lingering inspiration for the weekends. My husband has taken up flipping houses and this is my contribution to the projects.....because lord knows I shouldn’t be using power tools. I love hearing about paints and lighting! Highly recommend this podcast and have shared with many friends already.

    Educational while amusing
The tips are so helpful without being stuffy. They literally have me laughing aloud at work in a quiet office.

    Goodness!
This has been one if my top two fav podcasts since it began. I’m writing a second review specifically following their June 2020 podcast piece on diversity in the interiors industry. It’s a great example of how we each can do our part to make the world a better place, in whatever way is relevant to one’s own life. It’s a solid piece of GOOD, which is just so wonderful to have in a world filled with a fair bit of NOT GOOD! There is literally nothing not to like in their podcasts - helpful practical tips, funny banter, and most importantly... it’s all underpinned by the obvious joy of two fabulous women talking about what they love, with someone whose company they clearly enjoy. FABULOUS.

    My absolute favorite podcast!!
I have been a regular listener to this podcast for over a year and it is seriously my favorite podcast! I have learned loads of new information and am always entertained and inspired by Kate and Sophie. They are not only incredibly talented and knowledgeable but also full of wit. I am especially thankful for them and this podcast during this never ending quarantine!! Xoxo From Atlanta, GA
  • Cww rocks!
    Seriously - you should listen
I only just discovered this charming and amazing podcast, and it has gotten me through the pandemic so far. I binge-listen when I cook, clean, run, and walk the dogs. I’m American, but a complete Anglophile and lover of design, so listening to these two gals is a complete joy. Their combination of knowledge and humor is just what I need right now, and I like that they’re both opinionated yet self-deprecating, like “nothing is really that precious yet here are my very definite opinions.” I also like that they have different design sensibilities from each other, which suggests there’s more than one way to be stylish.

    Best podcast ever!!!!
I just finished listening to this podcast AGAIN while redoing my kitchen in quarantine. It has made this crazy time so much more fun. Kate and Sophie are full of knowledge and keep me laughing and my family full of positivity in these uncertain times. We have a lot of thinking about interior design together. Thank you Sophie and Kate!

    Pure Joy
I’m with Sophie and Kate, nothing Marie Kondo has to say sparks joy for me. But this podcast certainly does. It’s like chatting with old friends, and I can’t get enough of it. (Don’t hate me though ladies, I do have gray walls with white trim...but I love them).

Covid 19 therapy in a podcast
I only just recently discovered The Great Indoors and I feel like I should be paying Kate and Sophie. Not for interior design advice—though that is worth a lot—but because they are keeping my spirits up during this most bizarre slice of history. The pair are delightful, and their insights are worth their weight in gold.... ceilings. I lift my glass to these charming women and feel like I’ve made two new friends!

    Helpful, Interesting and Funny
Really enjoying the combination of practical renovating and decorating advice and great interviews with designers. The hosts are down-to-earth and charmingly goofy but have a wealth of knowledge and sophisticated taste.

    Love this duo
American design is so centered around gray and neutrals. Sophie and Kate are brilliant and breath of Fresh colorful air! Take a listen to these design queens across the pond. You won’t regret it!

    Delightful and Informative
These completely charming women know how to keep design approachable while still offering top-notch insight that’s so helpful! The topics they cover are timely, fun, and applicable to any home or budget. And honestly, I love how they make you feel like you’re part of their conversation...or at least like a fly on the wall listening to two (very stylish) friends.

    My New Obsession
From the very first episode of the Great Indoors I was hooked! I binge-listened to all 5 seasons in the last 2 weeks. I would start every day by getting ready listening to Sophie (an interior stylist) and Kate (a self-described “putter” of things). I love, love, love that they offer two perspectives on various areas of design. It has opened my eyes to the fact that interior design is so much more than simple black letter rules (which I, someone who is a bit over the top, always found a bit frustrating), but is rather adapting general guidelines to fit the feel and personality of people that live in the home. I cannot get enough of these two ladies! They are a wealth of knowledge and laughs and, quite frankly, now that I have finished all the seasons, I am a bit lost! I can’t wait for the new season and can someone PLEASE get Kate a jingle for her stats???!

    My favorite design listen
After binge watching The Great Interior Design Challenge (a perfect pastime while holding my sleeping baby), I followed Sophie to her new podcast and fell instantly in love with this show! Kate + Sophie = joyful design magic ✨Every episode has me laughing with their silly banter, and feeling so inspired and delighted with all of the possibilities for my home and studio. Their regular dose of interior design ideas and trends keeps me continuously brainstorming and plotting my next projects. I look forward to it every week. Thank you, ladies! P.S. Loving the interviews these recent seasons and photo peeks of their abodes! P.P.S. Your British accents are an added bonus to my American ears :)

    An absolute delight!
These two women are just about the best thing ever. They’re hilarious, and I love hearing about all the things they’re up to. The design crimes are a hoot, but my favorite things are Sophie’s laugh and the joyous relationship these two have. I would love to be on the chintz sofa with them while they giggle about feature walls and tease each other about their individual style. Love it. Highly recommend.
