Overall a good show, and I listen regularly. Many times Brett and Ryan have drastically different volume levels and either Brett is too loud or Ryan is too quiet. I find I’m constantly turning the volume down when Brett is talking and turning it back up when Ryan is talking, which is quite annoying. I listen on Apple Podcasts and cannot speak to other platforms. Thanks

I really enjoy this podcast various weekly releases. I always look forward to the Sunday weekly power hour release because I am not able to watch it live. Brett and Ryan make for an interesting perspective that can help to cool us listeners from getting trapped in whatever investment is “trending”. I have learned better ways to look for companies and a better understanding of the fact that—that just because something isn’t a “high flyer” doesn’t mean you can’t receive market beating returns. The new “Small cap of the week” segment is especially interesting. It has me looking for companies outside of what Wall Street typically recommends and through this I have found what I believe are quality companies for the long haul. I really enjoyed this podcast these guys aligned with my beliefs of long-term holdings, and not worrying about the day-to-day momentum of the market, and just believing in the stock, in the company, and what they’re trying to do probably my favorite investing podcast right now!

These guys are great. Always candid about their opinions on businesses and pretty entertaining to listen to. Definitely recommend for anyone that invests in individual stocks.

I like the power hour episodes because they are like the conversations I have with friends who like investing. What I like is when they don’t know something, they don’t make up stuff or gloss over it, they tell you they don’t know. Refreshing. The other good thing about this podcast is that they are fairly conservative investors. Some people may not like that, but I like that.

I love how Ryan and Brett break down the fundamentals when researching a company. Makes things easy to understand for those with intermediate knowledge of the investing landscape. Regarding my question for the AMA episode, who are your top 5 management teams today amongst the companies you researched? I think you mentioned Netflix being up there. I would be interested on how companies like Adyen, Coupang, Autozone, & AirBnb stack up in your opinion.

Really enjoying the show, it offers a ton of value and has been helping me to be able to form a structured qualitative thesis for whatever equity I go up against. I am curious what industry or sector is interesting you guys the most going into 2024?

I love how your show goes deep on value-investing topics with a Buffett-style approach. Even your "not so deep dive" episodes go deeper than most other value investing content and this is refreshing to find in a sea of shallow-takes and click-farming. For your AMA I would like to know - what do you do when you are fully invested and a great company that you had planned to buy one day falls below your desired buy price? Where do you raise cash from? Sell your worst idea? Sell a percent of everything equally? Use margin to establish the position and pay that back with dividends from your other investments? Something else? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and keep up the great work!

Investors of any experience level can learn from Ryan and Brett. I’ve been a listener for several years and it’s made me a better investor. Highly recommend!

I discovered this podcast on YouTube while researching a stock listed in Japan. I wish I had found these guys sooner. This isn’t some b/s with buffet quotes and fortune cookie quotes like Farnham street. This is concrete information and I’ve learned a ton. Check it out!

I listen to a lot of investment podcasts and YouTube content and this is some of the best I've seen. Overall they cover great companies that are investment grade vs. wasting time taking about terrible companies that happen to be in the news. Keep up the great work!

I listen to their podcasts weekly. I always catch the investing power hours shows. The “not so deep dives” are very good as well. Lots of good info on companies. Ryan and Bret are fairly conservative investors. I’d like to see them take a little more risk with some of their investments. Very good pod.

I like it when they have an expert from an industry value a stock in their industry. I listen to this show to learn more about an industry that I am not too familiar with.

Love this show and the range of companies covered. They provide a high level snapshot of a company so you can decide whether it’s worth researching further. Their weekly power hour I never miss, keep up the good work.

The hosts do very minimal research and don’t have the proper information to discuss the topics covered. Clear bias in many of the names covered. I would strongly recommend against listening to this.

Nothing informative. Lots of regurgitated info. I’d bet they guys stop doing the pod in the upcoming bear market. I’d look elsewhere for financial commentary.

Overall I like the podcast idea, but not great execution. This podcast would benefit from fewer episodes (maybe 1x per week or even month) with deeper research. Currently, the pod is a regurgitation of commonly known information (literally FinTwit opinions repurposed). Pod would certainly benefit from more preparation in advance

I didn’t see a place to send a email so I figure I’d ask in the review. Ticker ZIM is this a trap? If you find time in your show can you break this down? High dividend super low p/e.

Don’t get much of out these podcast. They are talking about nothing half of the time. There are much better podcast out there

Hey guys, stop promoting for Stream. Individual inventors can’t sign up. Only for professional and company executives who has a job. Not very useful to promote. Otherwise, it’s a great broadcast.

Couldn’t even make it thru the first few minutes of the Peloton episode. Factually incorrect statements: 1) you can buy the bikes at the showroom. That’s how I bought mine. There are sales reps in the store there to help you place the orders. 2) The bikes are all made in Taiwan, not “Asia”. Important because Taiwan has a lot of experience making bikes and high tech manufacturing (ie semis). Recommend these guys pump the brakes on the volume and do more HW. And they run OPM? Yikes…

This show does a great job at 2 things imo: 1) having good velocity and quicker takes on more names. I like that this show gives me a quick taste of names that aren’t super mainstream. While it’s not as in-depth as business breakdowns or other podcasts, the velocity is higher here and I personally find it equally useful 2) I think they do a great job at having interesting, new guests and moderating them.

On so many epiaodes, it's pretty evident that you guys haven't done enough research. It makes the quality of the show very mediocre. Look at business breakdowns or acquired for some inspiration.

Most of their “deep dives” are meh, mostly burrowed talking point from either fintwit or Reddit. Seriously lack the research needed. They should start diving into the S1/10k/10Q etc for maybe an hour or so instead of rage tweeting the poor reviews user gave them.

Calling most of their deep dives deep dives is a big overstatement.

Love the show. Ryan and Brett are learning machines. They cover new stocks every week. It’s hard not to learn a ton.

I like the companies they review but it doesn’t seem like they know much about them when they’re talking about them. It’s like someone gave them 10 min to research a company and then asked what they learned. Could be a great podcast but lacking for now, need to work on presentation, structure and talking points. Too many good podcasts out there to be mediocre.

This podcast needs to be more popular. One of the best investing podcasts I’ve listened to

This podcast is on point. They really get into the weeds of these companies, much more than other podcasts I listen to.

I very much enjoy listening to these guys analyze a stock. They don’t automatically tell you that your gambling if you want to buy a small or even micro cap stock and I appreciate that. I have discovered some unknowns from this podcast and trust their opinions. If your looking for un biased opinions then this is a great podcast My only complaint would be that I I wish you could suggest a stock other then through the twitters, either through the website or a e-mail or even a voicemail would be great Overall a great podcast and hope they continue for years to come

I was looking for podcast to get detailed analysis on midcap and large cap stocks. There is none other than this. Thanks lot.

I enjoy listening but would love better audio quality. Upgraded mics would go a long way and make it a much more enjoyable listen.
