    My favorite podcast!
Cynthia’s podcast is much like a beautifully served healthy meal. Not only is EWP my favorite podcast, but each hand picked guest is carefully chosen with great intent to educate and inspire, and it’s as if I’m dining at a five star restaurant! The “ courses” keep flowing and nourish the listener. I feel seen, heard and empowered! I highly recommend listening!

    Episode 356
This is a difficult one to listen to. It’s not an interview. Her guest speaks without much chance for dialogue. She used way too many medical terms. This is one of my favorite podcasts but this episode was rough.

This episode with Dr. Lisa Mosconi is a true gem! I
This episode with Dr. Lisa Mosconi is a true gem! It explores how women's brains change during perimenopause and menopause. Lisa's insights on how simple sugar is used as a tracer to track glucose metabolism in the brain during perimenopause are invaluable. If you're a women on this stage, this episode is a must-listen.

Episode with Calley Means was enough
As a nurse practitioner in obesity medicine, I generally enjoyed Everyday Wellness UNTIL the episode with Calley Means. It was chock full of stereotypes, way over the top generalizations and a CLEAR LACK of understanding the average patient with obesity. It was so off putting and offensive I finally turned it off. Not everyone who specializes in obesity is funded by Novo Nordisk. Such an extreme point of view. My husband attended UCSF medical school and it was NOT taught to students that Americans are helpless and can’t give up their habits, nor do i believe for one second that Stanford is teaching this. I challenge the host and her guest to actually start working with especially the pediatric population with obesity before you speak how the guidelines released by the APA got it wrong. Terrible show with misinformation, especially with an educated Cynthia saying “we don’t know the long term effects of the GLP-1s”…….yes we do. Please do the research before you try to educate. Just terrible .

    ADS
Unfollowed due to the many ads. Annoying!!!

    Thoughtful
I really appreciate how well Cynthia actually listens to her guests and asks thoughtful questions. Too many podcast hosts (especially in the wellness space) cut off their guests while they’re speaking to interject their own opinions and it’s really annoying to listen to that. Cynthia is refreshing because she allows them time to speak and brings on so many wonderful guests.

    Episode 344 Dr Dayspring
This was a great one Cynthia!! In spite of my triglycerides and hdl numbers being good, my total cholesterol and ldls have been a bit higher. After going through menopause, these numbers recently jumped even more and for the first time in my life, my doctor suggested a statin. I am a fit, 56 yr old woman who knows how to eat and train. Thank goodness for this podcast and the countless others you’ve recorded on cholesterol. They have helped me further research what tests might give more insight to my health. I recently ordered some lab work through Own Your Labs and am waiting on the standard lipid panel along with the Apo B and Lipoprotein (a). You, along with your guests, provide such valuable information. It can be a real challenge navigating all the “advice” that’s out there. I feel like I’m in really good hands when I click play! Thank you so very much. Monica Patterson Charlotte, NC

Too much and too long of ads in every episode
I love some of the topics that Cynthia covers but to be honest, every time I listen, the ads that she does during the episodes make me want to turn off the podcasts. There are TOO MANY ads and each ad break is TOO LONG. I would also give a warning to listeners before doing the ad breaks so that we know that it is not part of the content.
  • MamaShaka
    Eye opening information
I’ve learned so much in the last few months listening to Cynthia and her guests! Looking forward to implementing so many things in my health journey!

    Trusted and Informative
Cynthia Thurlow is my preferred source for information about navigating health questions and challenges presented by menopause: weight gain, sleep, Hashimoto’s, what to eat, when to eat, exercise and so forth. Although I routinely listen to others in this space, I’ve often found Cynthia presents the most consistent and helpful information. Her presentation is easy to understand and beautifully modulated. And, I’ve learned a lot from her guests. My only source of confusion is when guests differ significantly on their recommendations- about protein, for example. The Episode 308 guest was great, but says that only 30-35 g of protein can be consumed at a meal or it will be stored as fat. Several other recent episodes note that 50-60 g of protein may be consumed at a meal, with 30 g being the minimum. This type of thing doesn’t happen often, to be clear. It would be helpful if Cynthia could clarify when she and a guest have differing opinions on a topic so listeners understand. Overall a wonderful resource - I highly recommend!

This podcast is on Fire!! Cynthia delivers a warm, intentional and information packed podcast every time. Love it- life changing
I found your podcast when I was searching for interviews with Dr Sara Gottfried so I’ve been listening for a while. Thank you for bringing such helpful content to the mainstream. I love your guests, your questions, and I value your perspective. After hearing about how alcohol impacts many systems, I have gone long periods of time without it so thank you for drilling that message into my brain and asking your guests their opinions about alcohol as well. I was a regular red wine drinker and have had to cut this and caffeine out since entering perimenopause. Maybe I’ll be able to drink coffee and wine in my 70s:) I always learn something new or can validate my way of thinking through your podcast. I also appreciate you and your guests’ insights on BHRT. Thank you for supporting people to heal, be well, and thrive.

One of the Best Podcasts About Wellness!
I listen to every episode of Everyday Wellness because Cynthia never fails to provide health information that’s both practical and based on science, not hype. Her guests represent top healthcare practitioners and researchers who share valuable insights, particularly around women’s health.

    Amazing, Actionable Content
Cynthia's podcast offers content that is both relatable and immediately actionable. Every episode brings fresh insights that genuinely surprise me. While there's no magic formula to perfect health, Cynthia and her esteemed guests distill complex health tips into easily digestible advice that can make an instant difference in one's life. She exudes authenticity and deeply cares about her listeners. Highly recommended!

I loved Cynthia‘s TEDx talk, and I respect her incredible expertise on the topic of women’s health. Her show is great, she interviews interesting people, and has a very matter-of-fact way of speaking and drawing out critical information from her speakers. I refer anybody interested in IF to this show and to her book.

    Wonderful podcast!
Cynthia is a wealth of information and the podcast is fantastic at shining a light on health tips and topics that traditional medicine ignores. I give it the highest recommendation!

    New Mic
While I love the content, and share episodes frequently, I think Cynthia needs to invest in some better sound equipment. Sound is very echo filled at times. A better transition to commercials would also add value. But again, content is important and easily presented!

    Episode 288!
I’ve listened to this episode 3 times. I am 50. I have hypothyroidism. I am in perimenopause. I have gained 46 pounds in 3 years. I am on HRT and I love it. I am on thyroid medicine. I love how you both simplified things for me. I have a new podcast to add to my library. Tyroid Fixer seems like it will be beneficial to my health podcasts. I have found that I listen mostly to Everyday Wellness because y’all cover it all. I am a recovering alcoholic. During my early sobriety, I learned how detrimental alcohol really is to our bodies. Do you mind doing a deep dive episode on that subject? It may help some listeners. Thanks for all y’all do!

    Dr. Deb Matthew episode
Dr. Deb is my doctor and I can honestly say that her practice has given me new life. Before seeing Dr. Matthew, I was 60 pounds heavier, completely sedentary, on antidepressants and sleeping pills. My gynecologist told me that it was “normal” and I’d feel better on the other side of menopause. That never happened. I have changed so many things about my life, thanks to Signature Wellness. They introduced me to the importance of hormone regulation, every day brain health and how our lifestyle/food choices effect our overall health and well-being. It is because of Dr. Matthew that I started paying attention to functional medicine experts like Dr. Hyman, Dru Purhoit, Max Lugavere and especially, Cyntha Thurlow. I truly hope that this podcast inspires listeners to action. Whatever you’re going through at that “certain” age IS NOT NORMAL. Get help.

    52 and counting
I was so very happy to find this podcast! After a couple of years of declining muscle mass and sleep deprivation, I have found a new doctor and she is having me try a few hormone replacements. I look forward to learning more about them, how my body reacts, if it helps an ongoing gut problem..etc etc. so much to know and learn but so happy to find this resource in your podcast!

    Metabolic episode -
Thank you for creatine monohydrate discussion - I had outdated views on creatine use from years of cycling on/off 20 + years ago, Scott Emmens’ current creatine monohydrate knowledge/benefits was a great update as I had abandoned creatine all together…great show!

    Fantastic Show!
I am a regular listener to many different health and wellness podcasts. Have been for several years now. By the way this is the first review I’ve ever written. Cynthia Thurlow has moved to the very top of my favorites list. Not only does she have very informative guests, she herself is incredibly knowledgeable and uses her own life to state examples of what to and what not to do. Very open and honest and someone we all can relate to. Most importantly, she’s just a very nice person. That really comes across! Thanks for all you do and keep up the great work Cynthia! Jack Uhalde

    Simply the Best!
I am 53 and discovered Cynthia’s podcast as I was navigating perimenopause and I am just so grateful that I did. Cynthia is an intelligent interviewer and subscribes to the same views that I have in terms of getting to the root cause of concerns; not accepting that gaining weight/feeling poorly/ taking lots of medication are just a part of aging; and that we are not “one size fits all” for anything! I have learned so much from these podcasts and her interviews. I wish my doctor/NP would listen to her podcasts. I wish there was an easier way to find a like minded practitioner in my area. Thank you for the work you are doing. It has been invaluable to me.

Where have I been, under a rock??
I just found this podcast and I am so happy I did! I heard Cynthia on The Fasting Method’s Podcast and found her to be so informative I knew I had to check her out, so glad I did! The only nice thing about coming late to the party is I have so many episodes to listen to! Thank you for putting such great information out for the masses!

If you want great health info, you’ll want to listen to EWP!
I found Cynthia’s community a little over a year ago and her podcast quickly became a regular in my rotation. She brings on amazing guests - many of whom I’ve followed in the health and wellness space for some time. I love her interview style - very conversational and you can tell she takes her preparation very seriously. I am in my late 30s and I’ve learned more from Cynthia about metabolic health, hormones and other general life changes in the last year+ than I could have imagined. I honestly wish I would have found this podcast and Cynthia sooner. It’s been a game changer! Highly recommend this podcast and following her on social media, if you aren’t already!
