David485737284Great showLots of interesting topics discussed. I like to get deep into the scientific aspects of these issues, some of the podcasts are great for that and others are more general and philosophical. But nearly all of them so far have been really good, in my opinion. To get into this a little deeper, the sticking point for many people is “how could so much of mainstream science be so wrong?”. This is a great question. You have to understand the underlying (materialist) assumption most scientists are working with. Namely, “the present is key to the past”, that the current observable (to us) physical world is all that exists AND can be extrapolated back in time to infer ancient history. But, if God exists and has not only created things but intervened at points in history, then this type of extrapolation is invalidated at those points and there are much better explanations that answer so many scientific problems as discussed in these podcasts.

Topsoil52Engineering scene in creationExcellent presentation of facts. Evolution is full of prepositions and essentially magic. Time and selection pressures are the magic of evolution. Creation viewed as an engineering marvel, makes a great deal of common sense. It also brings honor to Jesus, the great creator and sustainer.

CookGKThankfulI am a young prospective scientist striving to uphold the account of Creation as told in Genesis! This podcast alerts me of new arguments on both the creationist and evolutionary sides of science! Thank you for being an encouragement to me and others.

DLEk72Perfect for questioning Christians! All we hear on TV and in public schools is the very one-sided “earth is millions of years old.“ But there is so much evidence for a young earth if people are willing to look at it.

noarminianHey TreyTo say that death “wasn’t a part of God’s original plan” is to say He didn’t know it was going to happen. You sound like someone with an Open Theology perspective. Kinda sad.

Mike_B from DenverGreat podcast and encouraging to my faith! My 12-year old son and I listen to this podcast in the car together. I love the conversations it brings up and how it encourages our faith!

SandySue10mThanks for sharing your favorite dinosaurI love each episode, I love your description of the Behemoth. I was so afraid you were going to say it was God pointing to a story of their myths. Since my first read I have believed it was a dinosaur. Your step by step reasoning was great. I’m so glad God made a wonderful creature like him. Thanks you made my day. So nice to contemplate dinosaurs and leave the tumult of todays politics aside for a while.

JkIJohNeed a new hostGreat info… sorry but the host is horrible. The “hmmm” and interruptions are so distracting. Just let the guest speaker talk- you don’t need to affirm every word with your “hmmms”. Thank you.

stewardofthelandComment/RequestThis is a great podcast. Could you do a show that highlights the difference between what some would call “historic” vs. “observational” science? I know there are different terms but I think it is important to show that the science used to develop technology is much different than guesses about how what we see in our environment came to be. I have found it very helpful to ask questions about scientific method being observable, measurable, repeatable and empirical and how that relates to evidence of the past.

AMS772022Comment/RequestThe website and podcast are great resources. Suggest better marketing. Request a “consolidated” academic paper that provides an overview of primary studies/findings that directly prove or disprove the young earth hypothesis. The Gosse Hypothesis suggesting the Creator intended to confuse or deceive astronomers today by making the universe appear old fails to convince some critical thinkers. T /F: Accepting young earth means accepting that the Creator “manufactured false proof” for astronomers. I am a Christian that believes that the Earth is young, but my faith was shaken recently with this issue. We need a consolidated “academic” level resource addressing this subject.

Seraphim R. BauerThe female host Ivanna Moans too much!I would have rated the show higher than 3 stars but the female host Ivanna is a bit annoying. She moans all throughout the guest’s speaking time.. You’re constantly hearing her in the background going “mhmm.. uhmm… uhh… mmhhm… uhmm...” She doesn’t know hot to just be silent while the other person is speaking. She will then ask another question and cap it with a flirty laugh, and continue her superfluous moaning effects, “mmMMM.. yeah.. mm... Mmhmm… uhh.. It is so distracting! The only thing Incan compare it to is someone chewing with their mouth open so that you hear their food slopping around in their mouth. Disgusting! Please tell Ms. Ivanna to stop doing that, or to at least mute her mic while she does that. Thank you.

NomadsfriendConsistent with engineering logicAs a chemical engineer I have long believed the requirement of various effects having a cause. We used to have a saying when I was a refinery process engineer: “no freaky magic”. Translation, stuff doesn’t happen on its own. Entropy is real. As intelligent agents, we have to figure out how to harness the physical phenomena to produce the desired outcome. I highly recommend these podcast which offer an approach that sidesteps the concept of magic that seems inherent in Darwinism. Clearly, Darwin was not an engineer.

Lovin'-ItGreat Podcast with Current ResearchI am so grateful for this excellent scientific resource for anyone, Christian or not. They have cutting edge information and answer typical Christian struggles or concerns in the areas of evolution and creation, without compromising in quality or pursuit of truth.

PatC60Science & the Bible are Compatible! It follows that if God created the world and all the physical laws, and that if the Bible is God‘s word, then science and the Bible would be compatible. ICR presents evidence that this is true!

bfair90Very well done! This podcast is such a blessing! I’m so thankful for your YEC podcast. My prayer is that it continues for years to come. Hopefully you interact with current developments as they “evolve”

KBinAZReally great information!!!I love these podcasts! I’ve been a subscriber to ICR for several years and recommend it frequently. I’m in secular college, taking science courses every semester and I reconnect the information from my professors to the Bible and manage to firmly hang on to my core beliefs in the Creator and His Word. I was exposed to biblical creation as truth through Kent Hovind 24 years ago while I was into New Age evolution/universal consciousness. Once I realized how true the book of Genesis was, I was able to accept Jesus as my savior. This type of ministry is incredibly important in this modern age.
-
Earth MonkeyLies of ommission and commissionThe ICR is a professional misinformation center. They have been told hundreds of times that the C14 they claim they found in a diamond was due to machine error, but they refuse to ever mention what the lab technicians told them. I have been reading the ICR's Act's and Facts for about a decade and have only found two articles that didn't have serious errors or outright lies. Don't let the ICR take you back to a more ignorant time.
-
