As somebody who likes horror but is afraid of their own shadow, Here’s Johnny is great to listen to. Justin and Larry are great hosts who not only love all things horror, but aren’t afraid to look at it with a critical eye. It’s a wonderful, multi-dimensional look at a genre that tends to have a polarizing view to a general audience. The interviews and guests they bring on are perfect for adding a third opinion to an already amazing conversation. Here’s Johnny covers many aspects of horror and is perfect for both the fans and the scaredy cats, like myself.

This podcast has it all. Larry and Justin love all things horror, and you get a fresh dose of so many areas of the genre with each episode. I'm loving the current season on zombies, as my personal favorite movie monsters, but they also have been spicing things up with some celebrity guests and themed minisodes. These guys are always around to talk horror, or anything really, in the Here's Johnny Discord. I might talk to them more than I do my real friends. If you love horror movies, horror games, even horror fiction, give these guys a listen. 5/7, perfect score.

Both Larry & Justin have a deep love for the horror genre while also being willing to discuss the downfalls that some of the media has in the genre instead of just blinding saying that all the great horror movies are without fault and are compelelty perfect which is a freshreshing thing to listen to. You both should be proud that even though your show is horror focused someone like myself who isnt a fan of horror still finds great enjoyment out of it because of your passion for the show and what you want it to become. I think the chemistry between the hosts is really solid, and definitely a passionate topic for them as well. Since it’s only the first season, I won’t hold things like sound quality against them, but I think that if that got tightened up, this show would be some true horror fire! Keep it up!

These dudes love horror and you can tell. Larry is the Movie guy and Justin is the game guy and it works perfectly! I did not agree with something they said on their podcast so I emailed the show and like 2 hours later they replied and soothed my worries! Clearly these guys care and you should to! Seriouslly give them a listen!

I listened to the pilot when it came out and it interested me enough to want to hear more. 3 episodes in, and I really like where this podcast is heading. I like that this podcast speaks broadly across the horror genre, including movies, games, and other fun stuff. I've already learned a bunch of interesting facts and tidbits. Larry and Justin seem committed to developing relationships with their listeners, which is more than I can say for some other podcasts I've listened to.

Larry and Justin have been enthusiastically consuming horror for years and it shows in the quality of their podcast. In their first review, they presented a thorough analysis and research on the film including casting, scene presentation, dialogue, overall setting, music and sound effects, and other trivia I would have never gathered on my own. They read and respond to E-mails from fans sent to (heresjohnnypodcast at gmail.com). “Here’s Johnny!” is an excellent venture into the horror genre for new and seasoned fans alike.

If you’re a fan of the horror genre, this is definitely for you. It examines classic horror movies in a way you wouldn’t normally do, which really makes you rethink the horror genre. Definitely would recommend!!

After listening to Larry and Justin’s first show and finding out that it’s all about horror in films and games I was intrigued being someone that likes to be scared from time to time. I also enjoyed that both Larry and Justin are still getting to know one another as the shows progresses and as the listener I feel like that is a great way of getting to know both of them! I’m excited to hear what their take is on Stephen King’s The Shining and what comes after!
