I’ve been an on and off listener for several years now. This is a great watch along podcast and something I can share with my beer buds who have fallen out of watching wrestling. I’d listen more but I’m always in a mail truck and Kentucky has the dumbest alcohol laws. No shipping or mailing. Everything has to be sold directly at the breweries or distributed monopolized distributors

How can you go wrong with booze and wrestling ? The answer is you can’t so make sure you give these guys a listen as they re watch ppv’s and drink beer ! Truly entertaining! These guys are great and you won’t be upset you give them a listen.

Love watching along each week with my own choice of hops. Enjoy hearing everyone’s thoughts on the different beers as well. Many I have tried and can’t wait to try lots more. Can’t wait for season 2!

I love beer. I love watching wrestling. But I hate having choose the perfect beer to go with the perfect match. Thankfully, OFF THE HOP ROPE does all the hard work for me.

I’ve really come to enjoy “Smart” Mark Sterling through his work with the Major WF Pod and FWF, so I was glad to dive into his other show here. Clearly I’m a huge nerd so putting together matches and specific styles of beer based on super tight themes is right up my alley! Whether you have the action on-screen also or just listen along you can keep up with everything and have a great time. Enjoy!

Mark Sterling has a habit of being involved with projects that upon first glance wouldn’t appear to be up my alley, and although I don’t drink and really don’t have an interest in alcohol...the podcast pleasantly surprised me and has become one of the podcasts that I look forward to! I’m not accustomed to any uploading schedule yet, so every week day I will jump to Spotify and see if they’ve uploaded the next episode. I’m not familiar with Top Shelf Troy or Nick Stapp quite yet, but the more and more I listen the more I dig their personalities and realize that this truly is a three man operation. Just by analyzing the conversation you can truly tell that every single man contributes in their own way, and when they aren’t...you notice it. That’s a sign of something truly special, and even though I came here for Smart Mark, I’m staying for the entire crew! The podcast itself is wonderful, it’s what I imagine popping a couple of brews (did I say that right?) and chilling out with the boys while watching wrestling is like. Tons of Nostalgia from a lot of reviews of matches that I remember watching, and even hearing the guys talk about their beer at the end in a detailed way is intriguing...even for someone who doesn’t understand the majority. Thank you guys for adding to my week! I rate this podcast 5 rope popping hops out of 5!!!

After learning about this podcast from listening to MWFP I had to give it a chance.After the first episode I was hooked.BUT I have a confession to make that I am not a beer drinking but I am still able to enjoy the show because of Mark,Try and Nicks commentary on some of the strangest matches known lol This is a great show weather you drink OR a fan of the 1996 era of profession wrestling.

Two of my favorite things, Beer and Wrestling! Mark, Troy and Nick host one hell of a podcast. I listen every week and suggest that you do the same. It has been a lot of fun listening to these three talk about a different style beer while watching a match that pairs up perfectly with it. I once bought one of the podcast shirts from ProWrestlingtees and actually received a phone call from the three hosts! My only regret is that I didn’t ask them to join me....in....a...little....segment.....that...I.....like.....to....call..............WHATS ON TAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started listening to this podcast around episode 10-15 ish thanks to the major wrestling figure pod. This podcast has encouraged me to expand my palette for new beers and help start discussions with friends about pro wrestling matches most of us have never seen or have forgotten about. Great stuff!

I had heard the teaser for this show at the end of the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast for months, and have been listening for a few months now. left a review a while ago, but these guys deserve another one!!! Since getting furloughed, I’ve been listening and watching along instead of listening in the car. It’s been fun! Give them a listen!

Absolute worst podcast ever...

I’m not big on podcasts at all but this is probably the best podcast I’ve listened too. Mark, CPA, and Top shelf are so informative on their beer selection and random wrestling matches that were great that no one remembers. I’ve personally spoken with Mark and CPA and they’re two of the nicest guys in the business. If you aren’t listening to this podcast you’re missing out!!!!

Mark, Troy and CPA are a great trio to listen too. Troy gets super excited about things and makes the pod a blast to listen too. They have some of the best choices for been and wrestling so if you are a fan of either or both, check this out! #FOTS

Pro Wrestling and Craft Beer together again! Two of my favorite things in the same podcast. I jumped in around episode 16 and haven't turned back. Actually I did, to go listen to the first 15 episodes. I feel like these guys are still hitting their stride and each episode gets better than the last. I don't know what other podcast will talk about IPA's and Arn Anderson with such substance. Lol. So anyways go give it a listen if youre a fan of either.

New favorite podcast for the past couple of weeks and I don’t see that changing any time soon. Finding myself searching for these various beers more and more lately, as well as developing more of an appreciation for craft beer than I already have in the past. Keep it up!!
