BZI888I miss Lizzie💔I love this podcast. Super relatable being a first time mom. Also, I’m at stay at home mom, so hearing each guest come and talk about their businesses is inspiring. I miss Lizzie though. She was so relatable and authentic. Some of the things she said would ruffle a few feathers & I loved that about her. I love Elise she has a similar personality of me and best-friend lol, so it’s like I’m listening to one of my really close girlfriends. Also, I don’t like the spirituality & energy talk. I’m a believer the Creator, Allah, so that is the only downside.

FFerencziThe Antidote to Feeling StuckI love the way this podcast makes space for the non-mom parts of mothers. It’s so easy to feel stuck in a world of diapers, tantrums, and little personalities, but mamas need something of their own too. Thank you for making space for this!

MusicFanNYCLiked it until I didn’tReally liked this! As a creative myself I loved their smart, fresh and real voices. But when one of the moms vaguely referenced “opting out” of vaccines for her child without seeming to have ANY actual research or information to back it up I just couldn’t take it. The misinformation about vaccines that’s going around is putting babies (including mine, 10 months) in danger. What I gathered from her attitude was that she just kind of didn’t want to deal with it, or maybe had sort of heard something bad about vaccines in the ether somewhere. Maybe I’m misinterpreting, but I really didn’t appreciate this and won’t be listening anymore. Very disappointing because I really liked it before.

KG_LightLove this podcastSuper interesting, smart & inspiring convos for all of us young mamas of Color! I always get something outta listening to this one!

Yolanda Vega with Win4Irresponsible antivax messageI was into this podcast up until today’s episode dropped, and Elise and Lizzie had their convo about vaccination. It’s really disappointing to hear people with a platform and no medical or scientific backgrounds discuss their views on what is a scientific and very current medical crisis. Elise went as far as say that vaccines cause autism, and Lizzie kinda verbally nodded along. How much more do scientists have to do to prove that vaccines DO NOT cause autism before people get over this? Unsubscribed.

nmlanglove thisI'm not a mom but I love the co-hosts of this show! it's so refreshing to hear two driven, independent and refreshingly cool women of color talk candidly about their struggles with motherhood.

Iesha218Thank you!I am exactly 7 Months pregnant with my firstborn at the moment & going through those very same motions. I feel exactly what you guys were saying. I literately spoke those words of not wanting ‘Mom friends’ yet wanting to reach out but still doing so (until I was ready). From the unwanted advise to the intrusive belly rubs. It’s difficult not to want to cocoon yourself lol. I loved the conversation that you guys had because it reminded me that it is ok to feel what you feel at these times. I am so grateful.

speakpatriceI'm not a mom, but I am a fanAs a 30 year old woman, I've become increasingly anxious about whether I want to have children (if possible.) That's why I was mad excited to learn about this podcast! Well that and the fact that Lizzie and Elise are black creatives, like me. I've only listened to the pilot so far, but can already tell that these discussions are gonna help soothe my anxieties around possibly becoming a mother (will I lose myself? is it possible to balance my creative career and motherhood? am I going to be traumatized by the actual delivery?) Am very grateful for Cool Moms and look forward to listening biweekly. Also side note: Zoe Buckman was a great first guest! Would love to hear from other dope creatives like Jourdann Dunn, Karlie Hustle, Jamilah Lemeiux, Paola Mathe, and Abby Omoruyi
