JillaxandchillLoved this podI'm so sad to see it end. I enjoyed both sets of hosts so much. I can't wait to hear what LaToya and Morgan will get up to next!

B1390Love the podcast & buffering but not this seasonI will say while it is so bittersweet Angel on top is coming to an end, I’m not mad about it. Girl in question was once again mostly an episode where every two seconds what you don’t like is outshining the fun and positive energy of the episode. The only thing I can remember is when Morgan commented she liked Illyria. Kristin is mostly silent in the background and is the only energy of familiarity of someone caring about the show. In my overall opinion this pod lost its zest around the end of s3 and I am left often wondering what it would have been like if Brit ash and Laura would have been the hosts still. It’s just not been as exciting as it used to be, I’ve felt myself cringe for this season and didn’t enjoy s5 as much as the others. :/

ChachacitaA must listen for Angel fansI was an Angel fan since it premiered. I stopped watching Buffy in the last season and didn’t pick it back up for years. But Angel had me from the get go. I’ve rewatched it a dozen times over the years. Took me awhile to fully appreciate how the series ended but once I did, I love it! This is a good discussion on the episodes and Latoya is very knowledgeable of this show and all things WB/CW.

MinBen720Love this show!Like the title says, I love this show! They made me enjoy thinking about all of season 4, a feat that I never thought would be possible. I love the banter, I love the random references, even the ones I don’t understand! I’ve never been one to think critically about the shows I watch, but rewatch podcasts are slowly changing that for the better. And the fact that LaToya and Morgan are able to make me think while also making me laugh is wonderful.

literateroseLove this podcast so much, where are you?I absolutely LOVE listening to LaToya and Morgan dig in, break down, roast and adore Angel! Love all the nicknames and long-winded bits (so my jam!). I stretch out listening to each episode as long as I can to reduce the wait between them, really love the dedication to nice long eps. Really, everything about the pod delights me. But as someone not on social media (I have a special love for LaToya every time she responds to “where can folks find you?” with “No!”), not able to join your Patreon (really sorry, just not able to stretch my meager income :( ), I find it hugely frustrating when I can’t get any current info about episode schedules (which are no longer listed on the Buffering main calendar for some reason). I worry, like the mom I am (is everyone okay? Did something happen? IS SOMEBODY IN A DITCH??!), and check the podcast app obsessively for updates. So please, please: are you guys coming back? Will you do your amazing work for the last few episodes of Angel? It’s been almost a month since the last ep, and I’m so sad. Please drop an update! Thank you, thank you, and hope y’all are well and safe, and not in another dimension.

rogervaldesThis podcast is such a bummerI watched Buffy and Angel for the first time and have loved every episode of Angel S5 so far. I loved Buffering and I was so excited to hear discussion on such a fun season only to be faced with two hosts that absolutely hate this show. They nit pick every single thing and complain about stuff no one actually cares about. And then totally overlook the fun and good aspects of the season. Not to mention LaToya’s speaks so fast and brings up all these old WB and TV references that make it hard to understand what she’s ever talking about. I just hate how they don’t even try to hide how much they don’t like this show and characters. Constantly hating on Spike and Andrew which are some of the funniest characters. Constantly hating on the bickering between Angel and Spike which is a highlight of this season. It’s too much. I really tried to stick through it but the only good parts are when Kristin Russo comes in. I wish her and Jenny were doing this season of Angel. After listening to Episode 11 I’m jumping ship. I just feel like I’m torturing myself listening to these two and it’s bringing too much negativity into my life and ruining a show I love. Go review Vampire Diaries or whatever show you guys actually enjoy (PS. Those aka introductions are super annoying. Have to skip them every time).

tomnicklesIt’s goodIt started out I was wondering why someone was doing a podcast on a show they didn’t really like. But as it went on it has gotten better. Both hosts are funny and the show is entertaining. Highly recommend
-
SuzyRocheLaToya and Morgan are delightsI love listening to them giggle and snark. LaToya's comprehensive knowledge of TV is soooooo beautiful and relatable. I also devote most of my brain to remembering what other shows this random Buffyverse character was it! Thank you for this noble work.

Mad mad mad mad JaxCry laughingWhen the hosts are FORCED to acknowledge the problems with the last season of Angel, I feel so validated, especially when it comes to the shameful treatment of Charles Gunn (bang bang). Hearing my favorite jingle played as a funeral dirge made me laugh and cry. Great job making the best of a ridiculous situation.
-
JN199310No CompliantsMorgan and LaToya are both hilarious and their communication is hilarious between the two of them. They also bring a lot of really fun insight into television!
-
BThomasN“This is the ep that gets us canceled”Agreed 😒
-
Mcsquiggley“10/10 no notes” !The best pods are the ones where you feel like you’re handing out with friends, and this is one of those pods! LaToya and Morgan are hilarious, weird, and witty.
-
sara groupPerfect podcastHilarious and insightful. So fun to listen to — Morgan and LaToya are a podcasting dream team.

CharleyBoy115I love this podcast! You all do a phenomenal job! Keep up the amazing work. ❤️

holawatDisappointingComing to this show in Season 5 as a fan of Buffering when that show ended I was very disappointed. I’d heard both hosts occasionally on Buffering and other podcasts and thought LaToya was interesting and smart. However, I find the co-host Morgan’s obsessive love of Angel/Bangel to be difficult to stomach. On an episode of Buffering she mentioned that watching the show made her feel like a 15 year old girl but unfortunately her views or perspective on the show don’t seem to have matured much from that point and their discussions of the episode really lack the depth and larger perspective on issues that Buffering had and that makes it so special. If you are an Angel super-fan you might enjoy it. If not, it is likely to disappoint. The jingles are still great but that’s about it.

h.vickFun and funnyLove the insight, the snark, and the chance to see one of my favorite shows in a new way.

Dempy13AmazingI love this podcast so much it is amazing in a lot of the ways! I listen to this podcast every morning and it helps me wake up at 6:00 am. It also helps me a lot whenever I am sad, lonely, or just bored! If I could say anything to them I would say good job friends keep up the good work!😁
-
shackchaLatoya and Morgan Rule!Latoya and Morgan do such an incredible and hilarious job with this show! I so appreciate the ways they have helped me make sense of the problematic elements of the show while celebrating what works. I love that Charles Gunn is finally getting the recognition he deserves, and I can't wait to hear their commentary on the rest of season 4. And Letoya, thank you for finally voicing that Andrew is the absolute worst! I love this podcast and its amazing hosts.
-
robo_xNew friends in my headI love this show, the hosts are hilarious and say exactly what I’m thinking and I’m here for it. I love their reverence for the show with their grasp of the reality of what it is. I listen to each episode more than once, I don’t want to miss a thing.
-
CatBear1992I make sure I’ve heard every WORDAngel itself is a rollercoaster, and both sets of hosts (s1/2, and 3/beyond) are incredible and keep me going. Latoya and Morgan are so IN it that I feel like I’m not passively listen, but rather getting energy and fuel from them. So smart. So funny. So willing to get deep in the mud/dirt if that makes any sense (analysis, disagreeing, etc). Wouldn’t exist without buffering, yet this podcast makes me feel like Angel (show) is better than Buffy (show) because I so look forward to these episode dropping. I want to watch ahead but i wait. For Buffy I get ahead in my rewatch and then listen a bit less focused to buffering (no hate, just BIG love and smaller love/appreciation)
-
DebnCharlotte4stars only because I love AngelThese girls are just way too in love with what they see as their witty repartee, and it gets so old. If it weren’t for my LOVE of the show they’re discussing I wouldn’t listen. But I if u love the show u might like the girls too so give it a shot.

oneandonly97new host is a BRAVO FAN!?? 10/10This podcast couldn’t get any better. One of the new hosts is a black woman who loves alll things buffy and angel (same and thank you for having a black woman as a host for this podcast). And the other host is a lover of BRAVO and the Real Housewives!?? Literally love you both. If you ever wanted to start a Bravo podcast please let us know. I already have 10 other bravo podcasts in my library but i’m always looking for more!! ❤️ Bravo & Buffy are my world

SlytherAnnGunn Squad PewPew!I love LaToya and Morgan. They have great energy and I enjoy their chemistry as podcast partners. The inside jokes are excellent and the segments are creative and fun. PS. I think I’m the Morgan of my ‘verse and I’m ok with that.
-
GCRokzZzZzChef’s kiss!Morgan and LaToya are so fun to listen to. They balance each other REALLY well and bring some great insight to Angel. Love the inside jokes and bits! Yes yes yes!
-
AnnaStarMoonMade me love Angel the seriesI tried watching Angel as a teenager but couldn’t get into it—now it feel like I’m watching with friends and I love it :) Morgan and LaToya’s banter feels so funny and genuine, and the dynamic of LaToya bringing so much knowledge about the series/television history + Morgan being an almost-first-time viewer makes it easy to follow along. High quality listening!!!!
-
mysticfallsfriendpod of perfect happinessI'm loving following Angel's journey along with the pod! Hosts are knowledgeable and fun to listen to. Not every show can survive a host changeover but this pod stays strong and is a necessary companion to the brooding vamps and himbo kings of the city of Angel(s). Come for the Buffyverse chat, stay for the expansive WB knowledge, musical interludes, Gunn squad, and more!
-
shoshana666LaToya & Morgan 4 ever!!!love these hosts, love this pod, best jingles EVER
-
sunnyitaliaLove LaToya and Morgan!I absolutely love this show, it keeps getting better and better. I’m having so much fun rewatching/finishing for the first time watching Angel, and I honestly would listen to these two talk about anything, including WB shows I’ve never heard of. Gunn Squad pew pew!
-
LindjeanI love chaosJust binged season three and four. Love LaToya and Morgan. Love Kristin’s Korner. Just down for all the chaotic vibes mixed with real story and character analysis. Please keep them coming
-
darkgottherefirstLove the new hostsI have always enjoyed this podcast and its estranged sibling Buffering. The new hosts make me smile!
-
Cmeiste2Great for lovers of long winded bitsLove these guys. Latoya puts the show in context of other WB shows, and Morgan’s enthusiasm is infectious. Really glad that their feud with Buffering doesn’t stop Kristin’s Corner, adding some additional views on the show.
-
Turbro87POW powThis is the most angeliest angel podcast that have ever podcasted. Latoya is the most knowledgeable and absolutely watches every episode of every show. Anybody that says anything different is just, well their just wrong. K bye.

Day Man_91588Angel Season 4 fanLove this podcast! Thank you for talking about this show. I watched the series live and none of my friends did so this is a dream come true for me. For awhile I thought this show was a fever dream. For anti Angel season 4 fans. Hang. Tight! Much like 2021 it’s only going to get tougher BUT the payoffs (and SPECIAL GUESTS!) will make it all worth it. I remember this season fondly but more so on the back end then these first 10 eps. Can’t WAIT for the Spin the Bottle episode!! Keep up the great work LaToya and Morgan!
-
imfeelingsublimeThe Justine fans don’t exist…I’m loving this pod. I’ve been a Buffy fan since middle school (watched from when the 2nd season aired), but never really got into angel until this summer. This is a great pod to listen to after watching an episode. And I’m so glad I’m not the only one so annoyed/exasperated whenever Justine appears on screen. I recognized her from the L Word and I didn’t like her character in that either! Kristen, you’re not alone in that haha. Makes me wonder what other roles she’s had. Are they all insufferable?
-
CrepedcrusaderAwesome!LaToya and Morgan are so fun to listen to. The deep dives they do on the episodes really help contextualize it and give a lot of insight. I can’t wait to hear their thoughts and reactions on seasons 4 and 5!
-
LOVE MAKES US STRONGAmusing and IntelligentLaToya’s understanding of TV from the era is unparalleled. It allows for a deep dive into the themes of the show. Morgan and LaToya’s friendship and joking camaraderie is delightful. This is the best Angel podcast.
-
AmandamezzoLove the podLaToya and Morgan are hilarious, I love the fake feud with Buffering and I'm so glad they have their own feed now! The WB jingle slaps. LaToya and Morgan have a way of bouncing between intellectual conversation, jokes, and horniness, and it's abosoolutely my vibe. Thank you for introducing me to Angel, which I've never been able to get through before.

WearthecheeseJustineThis podcast is devoted to how amazing season 3’s Justine is, how enviable her chunky boots are, how multitalented and capable she is, how iconically Justine says “Daniel,” and how charismatic the relationship (?) between her and Holtz is. Just kidding. This podcast is actually GOOD, and does not do any of that, thank God. Hands down the best podcast or commentary I’ve heard about Angel. Morgan and LaToya love the show and the characters, which is surprisingly rare in podcasts. LaToya knows literally EVERYTHING about the show and about the WB (there is an amazing segment where she recommends a show from the WB to watch every week). Morgan identifies accurately as the Winifred Burkle of the Bufferingcast, and that is 100% on point. At the same time, both hosts are willing to engage intellectually with and challenge the material when it is merited. I was very impressed with how they handled Wesley’s arc in season 3. They were NOT here for it, but they WERE here for Wesley. Buffering the Vampire Slayer’s Kristin Russo regularly has a spot on the show (Kristin’s Corner), which is always fun. Overall, this podcast feels like I’m listening to actual side characters in Angel commenting on what their friends are doing, and I love that. Seasons 1&2 of Angel on Top are also worth a listen—it has a very distinct vibe and some good times.

sydney_neuroVamps vamps vampsWhether y’all are talking TVD or Angel, I’m here for it. Love you more than is appropriate for literal strangers ❤️
-
JacquesmockAn excellent Angel pod!As someone who has listened to multiple Buffy & Angel podcasts- highly recommend this one! Morgan & LaToya are really hitting their stride as cohosts in S3 & Kristin’s Korner is wonderful. A podcast that mixes fun and sexy and funny with serious insight and analysis of the show!
-
Najila3AmazingLaToya and Morgan make me bust out laughing EVERY episode. This podcast is magic!
-
Elee Is AngryExcellent hostsIt’s funny and fresh!
-
spatr10Better than BufferingLaToya and Morgan are why I listen! The WB show bit is my favorite part of each episode.
-
Hel-raiserLatoya and Morgan are delightful!I laugh so hard at every episode!
-
RoseThatsMeDon’t miss the latest version of this pod! This pod originally started out with two lovely hosts, but I must say I can’t think of two better guides for your Angel rewatch than the current hosts LaToya and Morgan. Their commentary is thoughtful, funny, and informed by their pop culture/Hollywood knowledge. Basically, if you like Angel and are looking for a rewatch podcast, this is it.
-
PoptuneNew hosts are so fun!Latoya and Morgan are such wonderful additions to the Bufferingverse 💖!
-
BelladonnalinLove long winded bitsI enjoyed the first two seasons of this podcast but I actually prefer LaToya and Morgan’s style. The bits only need to make the two of them laugh, but I’m laughing right along with them. Their comradery and genuine enjoyment of each other, combined with their genuine expertise in entertainment is helping me get through season 4 of Angel, my genuinely least favorite season by a. Lot.
-
Boston GabeDanial!I love all the Justine hate.
-
Bad PoetEnthusiasm and Encyclopedic KnowledgeAngel the show is a mixed bag, and the current era Angel on Top does a great job of appreciating what is great and totally hazing what we all hate 🙏
-
MKinNYCLove itI adore this podcast. LaToya and Morgan have incredible chemistry as hosts, they’re funny and smart and just a pleasure to listen to. Angel as a show doesn’t get enough love, I look forward to this podcast dropping so much!
