The guests on the show and the topics are very informative as well as continually increasing habitat knowledge no matter how long you have been involved in the hunting world.

As a tree guy, I loved hearing opinions on different trees and how to make trees work in different situations. The tip on using a “sacrificial” arborvitae in a food plot was priceless. Thanks for this episode!

This podcast has been a wealth of knowledge for me. Excellent guests and plenty of great ideas on improving deer habitat. I just started hunting a couple years ago and this podcast and others have really helped me accelerate the learning curve. Planted my first food plot this year and it has been a huge success full of deer every morning and evening.

This is one of my all time favorite podcasts. I just appreciate the real world tactics and tips and how you all relate to the common hunter/landowner. I have been thinking about getting in the saddle hunting game for the last two years. This has episode been the most informative I’ve ever listened to! Answered all my questions (even ones I didn’t know I had)

I’ve got a small property that I’ve anxiously been waiting to get timbered for the last 5 years, and it’s finally wrapping up. I’ve been researching habitat improvement, literally for years, and this podcast has been my favorite resource. I’ve got hundreds of trees, shrubs, and bushes that I’ve planted from seed, sitting in pots in my backyard, and they’ll be going in the ground very soon, and then my food plots are getting put it. I may be late this year, but I’m going to give it a try.

If you are like me, and are new to owning your own hunting property, this podcast is a must listen. Quit going through deer season wondering why you aren’t seeing quality deer and apply the tactics you gain from this podcast to give yourself an edge. Habitat improvement can seem like a daunting task but Jared does an excellent job at helping listeners learn from his experience and the experience of other experts to short cut your journey toward building a destination property that attracts and retains mature bucks.

As an owner of a Land Management company I spend a lot of time on equipment listening to a lot of different shows. I just came across this podcast and can’t stop listening to it. The information on this podcast is the best I’ve heard and matches some of the practices I use. It’s hard to find content on the Land Management side of hunting, search is over for me. This show is a must for any land owner that cares about making their property as healthy and productive as it can be for all game and non-game species. It has inspired me to do so many things with my farm in WV. They are so down to earth and always keep it real with all of their content.

Thanks for all the info that is shared on land management! I own a small parcel in Oklahoma and I also hunt some family land and I have lots of habitat work to do and It can be a bit overwhelming and also trying to make it all flow for my benefit as a hunter. But this podcast has given me the confidence and know how to get things going. I’d love to hear more about how to feather food plot edges on a budget. Thanks

Haven’t bought my property yet still looking but listening to this podcast has opened my eyes to what to look for. Looking at buying property in northern Minnesota a great podcast would be food plot, what trees work well in colder climates ie chestnut, fruit trees. I’ve been listening to the podcast for a little over a year and have learned a ton. I’m even working my way through the older episodes. I worked with Brian on a digital land plan and even though I’ve only had a chance to incorporate a couple of the items so far, I’m seeing a definite improvement in the quality and quantity of deer on my 12 acres. I’ve been listening to the Habitat Podcast on and off for a few years. I love how relatable these guys are, it’s like sitting with my hunting buddies listening to them ramble on about any one of 100 topics. I especially appreciate the focus on smaller properties. They frequently discuss properties under 100 acres which is where most of us are at. Keep it up! Would like to hear more about big timber hunting.
