    Great people
I have never played DnD but these amazing people make it so much fun to listen to. I thoroughly enjoy the stories that come of of these campaigns.

    Huzzah!
TWBD has never disappointed. Funny, great characters, exciting encounters and even poignant at times. I’m enjoying the new season in particular bringing in guest players. Thoroughly satisfying D&D. Keep up the good work y’all.

    Good stuff
Omg this show is great, had me laughing so hard

Was good until the original GM flaked
The first 130 episodes are good but then the GM quit like a baby. I would not recommended investing the time to listen to a story that is never going to get resolved. This is the Game of Thrones of D&D podcasts.

    Awesome show!!!
I found CORE originally from Azeroth round table and slowly been listening through core and now there will be dungeons. This show gets me through my work day and inspires my own imagination and fun aspects to my own game. I would highly recommend this show to anyone who loves dungeons and dragons. It’s funny and suspenseful. I love the relationships between our main characters, the adventures, and the world pained my everyone involved in the show! Keep up the good work and can’t wait to see how all the adventures pan out!

    This is the best podcast
I would 100% rate this a sideways 8 if I was allowed to. This is the best podcast in general, at least it is I’m my opinion.

    Hilarious and entertaining show
I’ve never actually played D&D myself, but have a lot of experience with RPG games, and I just gotta say this show is incredible. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Not only is it highly entertaining and performed brilliantly by the team, but it is absolutely hilarious. There seems to be at least one time per episode that I am laughing so hard that I hope no one sees me. With the times we are in right now, I think this show is a perfect little escape from the craziness. If you want an entertaining show with a really well done story, check this out. If you’re like me, you’ll be hooked by the end of the first episode.

    Superb
Great show, with wonderful interaction between everyone. It’s a fun ongoing story and I’ve enjoyed listening to it since the beginning. Really like seeing Beau bring in different elements and tell a story that never quite seems to go the way I would want, but that’s what keeps me coming back, that not knowing what’s happening next!

I love this above all other DND podcast.
Awesome podcast, I love the characters.

    Funny as hell
Great show, Beau is an amazing DM and created an amazing game world. Jon’s gnoll doorman Murgin is the greatest NPC of any game ever, seriously, ever.

    Love this
I found this thru listening to Azeroth Roundtable. This is the 3rd D&D podcast I’ve listened to and I have to say it’s great even being on the 4th episode. The cast is great and while the DM needs to study the handbooks some more 😂 it’s a wonderful and hilarious podcast. Can’t wait to catch up. Thank you so much for this guys and keep it up!

Why did I wait so long??
I’ll start by saying that I’ve never played DnD nor have I ever watched anyone play it. I honestly didn’t really know what to expect when I finally started episode one. Well, I started episode one about a week ago and have been insanely addicted since! I just finished episode 11 and going strong! I feel like I’m a part of this insane adventure! It has made me unexpectedly burst out in laughter as well as hold my breath for what seemed like an eternity. I can not recommend this podcast more! I wish I was caught up so I could watch the stream although I don’t feel like it’ll take me too long to catch up at the rate I’m listening!

    Perfect for my commute
Cast is entertaining and the world engaging. The style is not overly serious and involves more playful satire than it does hardcore roleplaying tropes. The warmth of the cast and their obvious chemistry from years of bonding over other games comes through in every episode. The cast has obvious podcasting/audio experience and it shows. I enjoy laughing along, imagining the battles, locales, and characters, and forgetting about my commute each week as the show develops and improves.

    Pretty good.
I am- I’ll say it- a DND nerd, and if any other DND nerds are reading this, I recommend this very much. I only have 2 complaints about this show: 1. Waaaaay too many indecent jokes. I haaaaate all the jokes. Sure, the occasional joke in that category is funny, when well timed, but when overused, they are just annoying. 2: I barely understand episode 0. I get part of it, but much of it is confusing, especially the Ash Maggard bit in the middle. Other than those few complaints, it is a pretty cool show. Recommend to not everyone, but to any DND person who can stand rude humor, I recommend indefinitely.

Players are very obsessed with penises.
Don’t get me wrong, I love every one of the hosts on other podcasts and this is not meant to be an admonishment of them. I just don’t connect with their style of humor like I wish I did in this particular show and I didn’t expect the show to be both “mature” and “immature” simultaneously. This style clearly works for plenty of people so this is just my opinion and I won’t pretend the hosts even need to change it up if they feel this is working for them as is. —— Going in I wasn’t expecting anything high brow but I also wasn’t expecting the target audience to be 12 year old boys either. This show seems somewhat immature and while others may enjoy that, for me it ruins an otherwise great performance as the players go on a very well-thought-out adventure in a wholly custom and unique world. It feels as though any time I’m about to get immersed in the story we end up spending five to ten minutes discussing the minute details of Nash having no penis (an odd thing focus on during character creation to say the least). But it doesn’t stop there. All the way from the “Buxom Confederate” in Slave Town to the area of the world map known as “The Teet” there seem to be an abundance of potty and sexual humor that is way too dry and frequent to be funny. There’s a shared orgy daydream with the adventurers and a big worm, an entire episode where Nash (the penisless character) takes a big steamy dump, and the next day he has some very uncomfortably role-played intercourse with an NPC that regrows his penis temporarily. If it didn’t feel like they talked about penises or poop at least once (often more) every episode then it wouldn’t be so bad. It’s to the point now where I sometimes have to turn it off because the amount of cringe I’m experiencing is too intense. Inevitably I come back and continue listening because everything else is so well done. Kristen, Kyle, and Jon’s characters are superb, especially Kyle’s character Vorel. I wish I could experience those characters in a slightly more serious campaign. I’m not a prude. The occasional sex or potty joke can be hilarious when timed right in an otherwise more mature story. It’s when it is constant and relentless that I start to feel like a stay-at-home mom taking care of three boys under the age of 12. You can only take so much before you need to go hide in a closet with a box of wine.

    Title is accurate.
Was promised dungeons. Received dungeons. Fun podcast featuring Lizard, Stanly, Hope, and Captain Crotchless.

    Favorite podcast
Love this show, I haven't even played D&D and thoroughly enjoy everything about this.
  • Underus
    Excellent world. Great characters.
DM Beau Schwartz has crafted an interesting post post post apocalyptic world. There’s a bit of rules learning by the PCs but their RP and enthusiasm more than make up for it. Grade A D&D podcast.

    Fun Times for Everyone!
Im relatively new to D+D, so I was afraid going into this that I would be completely lost. Beau and the gang do a fantastic job at explaining what needs to be explained without losing that sense of fun and excitement! I really enjoy the entire cast (crew?) and their ability to work off of one another is second to none!! This is an absolute BLAST!!

    Worth the listen
This is a fantastic podcast. Character development is great, conflict with the party is not avoided, and the DM seems like he may actually kill them. The thing I enjoy the most is this runs like an actual game. Most of the ones I’ve heard seem a bit too edited and polished, not like sitting at the table. They feel too sterile for my tastes. Trust me, there is no polish on this show. I mean that in the best possible way.

    Best D&D podcast by far!
This podcast is a natural 20. Outstanding job and thanks for being so creative. I'm shocked to find out that after all this time an evil A.I. has been writing to Martha all this time. You guys rock! *Side note I miss Comic Dorks!

    👍🏻👌
I’ve always wanted to play D&D but have never had friends that had these “nerdy” interests like me lol but this podcast is infatuating and makes me feel like I’m playing too! I’m an avid wow player(FTA!) thanks for all you guys are doing please keep going!!!!

    There will be greatness
I started listening to this as some background audio while doing work then around episode 4 or 5 I realized I was really into the story and the group of people playing. It’s a great time with a fun story I can’t wait for it to continue and hope after this one they do another quest. Keep up the great work and thanks for making my hour drive to work fun

    Fantastic!!
This group has SUCH great chemistry!! I am a big Frogpants fan, especially of the Core show, and the first time Scott suggested that Beau run a D&D game I literally yelled out, “YES! PLEASE!” With the gentlemen and scholars of core, the dulcet tones of Kyle, and Kristen’s pluck and great accents, this group can do no wrong. 5 stars! 👏👏👏
  • Grinchworm
    Awesome
This podcast has made me want to play D&D again! Thank you all so much!

Leave the sound board out of it!
I’m enjoying the storytelling and the character development so far, but Scott insists on using his sound board like its some kind of zany, insufferable morning radio show. It’s just the same six sounds played over and over again in different orders. Scott also didn’t take too well to taking a backseat to the DM in the first few episodes, but he’s gotten much better.
  • Torjunk
    Not bad, one tip/suggestion
Like the show, but speaking for myself and most people (I assume) who listen with headphones, please just say "he screams" in a descriptive manner instead of saying it and then SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS! My ears are still ringing due to the numerous ear splitting screams in the show. I get you're trying to set the scene but man, find a better, softer way to convey it please please please.

Fills that void when I can't find a D&D crew!
I've been listening to this campaign each day on my ride to and from work. The DM is awesome and the role-playing is really fun and excited. I've laughed aloud so many times. Can't wait for more episodes!

    Great Story
Never played or listened to someone play D&D before, and I’m loving it. It’s absolutely delightful, it’s like listening to an adlibed audio book. Definitely worth of listen if you’re a fan of the frog pants folks.

    Finally.
Someone drawing up who never had a friend group that would have been interested in D&D I’m super excited for this podcast. Can’t wait to live vicariously through these four adventurers and their epic DM.

    Could not be more excited
I am looking forward to seeing where the frogpants company takes us!
