No Chants in HellHonestly the best podcast out there right nowI cannot get enough of this podcast. If you like pro wrestling or music (or better yet both) you will love it. It has made me a bigger fan or both wrestling and music separately as well. The discussion is fun, intelligent, humorous, and thoughtful. You will become fans of promotions, bands, and songs you have never heard of before thanks to this one. It is the GREATEST SHOW, no disrespect to ICP or the Oddities.

MISuplexMusic & MeA relaxing rich audio experience that ventures past the typical WWE-centric focused weekly news coverage and into a fantastically fussy exploration into the sounds behind the (vertical) suplexes. Andrew and Chris bring fun, thought provoking, and interesting tidbits to the table while discussing songs you thought you knew! I never miss an episode.

SaucedoProAwesomeThis podcast is awesome! The music breakdowns and theme histories are amazing. Andrew, Chris, and their guest when they have them are hilarious and make my commute to college enjoyable. I've learned so much not only about wrestling but music while listening to this. This is a podcast that I didn't know I NEEDED in my life! Must listen for everyone!

yoshi#1A 6-Star Podcast, actually.I listen to a lot of podcasts about wrestling, but this one in particular combines two things I love: music and wrestling. The hosts, Chris and Andrew, are an amazing duo with their humor, explaining their opinions towards wrestling themes, and doing extensive research on themes. This is an easy podcast to get into, and one people should listen to if they love wrestling in general, not just WWE. Give it a listen and spread the word about Music of the Mat. You won't regret it. P.S. I heavily recommend Episode 8, which tackles a promotion I've recently gotten into: Dragon Gate. But listen to all of their episodes; they're all amazing.
