    More Leftwing Foreign Policy
This podcast is full of liberal talking points. The intellectual rigor is freshmen college level and there is rarely if ever any time spent on original thought. If you are a fan of failed liberal foreign policy, this podcast is for you. If you live in the real world and look for intellectual rigor, original thought and potential solutions for global challenges, go somewhere else.

    Someone other than Townsend
I wish there is someone else other than Townsend. He’s verbose and his comments are circular and repetitive. He’s on another podcast I listen to as a regular guest not host and he rarely has anything new to impart.

    Highly Recommend
I enjoy this podcast very much, and find the analysis presented to be valuable. The guests are excellent and both hosts are very knowledgeable. I’d like to be specific and note that Jim Townsend is the proverbial cowbell (SNL) here for which we have a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell. The all-around excellent episode from 3 February 2023 was the most pronounced example of this that I can recall. My only request is for fewer instances of “Jim, I know that you have a question, but I want to jump in here”. Hats off to Andrea, Jim, and all involved.

    Hosts?
Does Jim ever get to speak?

    good content
Generally an excellent podcast. But please, hosts---take a few minutes of your day to learn how to pronounce names of the individuals you discuss. It's disrespectful to not bother to do this on a podcast focused on Europe, and it refects badly on you (and perpetuates the stereotype that Americans don't know other languages).

    Room for growth
Does well to really encapsulate the key issues facing NATO today, and how the community is navigating their way through them. However it is sticking too close to the NATO “party line” and does little to challenge the creeping complacency that is eroding the Alliance. This program needs to find guests who are willing to take a more skeptic and unconventional view on NATO’s future and way forward. This has the potential for so much more.

    Excellent material, too quiet
Hosts and guests engage in great conversations- unfortunately some episodes are too quiet to be able to listen to easily. Always having to turn up the volume to max for this podcast, unlike other podcasts.

    Great Guests / Bad Audio
Amazing podcast, but you need better sound gear or mixing. Marked difference in quality between this podcast and the others I listen to.

Short Doses of Interesting, International, Perspectives
This podcast provides an insight into international affairs, that, although NATO-centric, often includes interviews with diplomats and officials from the countries that comprise NATO. It's just interesting to glimpse how they see things. In particular, I'm giving this podcast five stars because it's more likely to provide a different nuance to common perspectives, all in typically rush hour traffic sized doses - meaning more for bang for the listening buck, especially for anyone who, like me, finds international relations/security interesting but is not involved with it as a professional. (And, thus, has other areas of study that require focus and constant re/education.)
