This podcast was super informative and it put brightness into my life I am sad it is over and I want them to start it back up and talk more in detail because their are lots of things you guys/girls missed.😿 and I hope you will add another main quest to this game. Plus in our own way we are like each other and in each of our stories we are link and some of the main quests can’t be completed.

Just found out that Brian and Jeremy were in You Meet In A Tavern, a podcast that I listened to and enjoyed in the past which also stopped/went on hiatus. I’ve really enjoyed each person’s personality and individual flair and learning that they are connected has made the blow so much worse. Please make more! Anything the gang is interested in talking about or playing I would be interested in hearing. What a great run…

It is very hard to find that chat of the wild is over I think you should try to get together with the crew and come together again whenever it’s possible to and when the next Zelda game comes out I will hope that you will read this and maybe get together again soon

I want to first say the show is great now. If you’re playing through Tears of the Kingdom and want to methodically tackle the game by section and listen for things you may have missed, they do an awesome job and are very entertaining/informative. If you are looking to get the same experience in older games (I’m currently playing through Twilight Princess HD and was thinking I would get a similar experience) I would not recommend it. Unless of course you would like the hear whining about how bad everything is and need to commiserate. It was my first time playing through the game, and I was loving it for nostalgia purposes having played almost every other Zelda main title. Aside from Jeremy trying to move the ship in a positive direction, most of the podcast consisted of “I hated that!”, “It was terrible!”, “Why was it so easy?”, and “Why was it so hard?”. Jess and Brian made my ears bleed with negativity. Maybe it gets better the further you go (just got through the third temple), but I had to stop listening. It was atrocious. Like I said. I love the show now and really think it is worth listening to if you like Zelda, but avoid Twilight Princess pods at the very least. This is my first time ever commenting on a podcast or leaving a review, because I felt compelled to share the contrasting nature of my experience. Thank you for all of the time spent creating content, and I look forward to continue listening in the future.

Who doesn’t like to take a deep dive into the best video game series in the history of our species?! If that sounds cool to you (like it does to me), then this is definitely worth a listen. Each host brings an interesting perspective to the games, so it’s fun to hear about different experiences and fun to listen to some theorizing (anyone have a timeline hot take?). I don’t listen to the non-Zelda episodes, so I can’t comment there. One suggestion to the hosts: there’s a fine line between valid criticism and complaining. The former is interesting to listen to. The latter is not interesting at all. At times, the podcast strays and stays too often in the latter. I really appreciate the time and energy you put into the podcast and love listening to it!

I like all the hosts except Tegan. She’s really loud and obnoxious and sounds like my younger brother. She’s also always whining about the timeline and how she’s gonna have to spend months pricing it together. Nobody cares. I have the same problem with Jess just less so. She’s alright. Love the other hosts though, Brian Jeremy and BC are fire. Podcast overall is pretty good. My favorite season was Ocarina of Time.

Keep doing what you are doing guys! This is a great podcast and I listen to this podcast while I’m at my desk. One hint though, there is a Misko’s Treasure quest that is near the stable south to death mountain. It includes a super awesome quest that includes Majora’s Mask references! Good luck!

This has recently become my new favorite podcast! You all do a great job. Very informative, while staying casual, light, and fun!

My only critique is that in the early seasons one of the guys seems to oversteer the convo to the point that the other guys can’t get a word in edgewise. Wish they would all stop talking over each other and listen more instead. However, this gets MUCH BETTER as the seasons continue & it’s like replaying the games with friends! thanks to all of you 🫶🫶

This podcast has a lot of great humor and their coverage on one of my favorite series of all time has got to be of the best I’ve seen. I also really enjoy their guidons as it can show how Zelda inspired some other great games. Overall amazing podcast and I would recommend it to any Zelda fan of any age.

Love the show! Great cast! Figured I would bring something up. Listen to the oracle games again and it drives me nuts that you cause said the name of the dungeons are crazy. For example the 4th episode in oracle of season. The dungeon sword and shield and many other dungeons in 2D Zelda are named that was because of the the map. Go back into the dungeon and open the map one floor is a sword and one is a shield. Unicorn maze and snakes remains are the same way. And the one owl that says there is a secret in the eye is in regards to the maps eye. Still love the pods. None of my friends play these games so enjoy each other’s company!!! Keep up the good work.

It's hard to say anything new about The Legend of Zelda games, but the hosts of Chat of the Wild have done it by plowing through the series one step at a time. They laugh, they cry, they anguish over difficult puzzles. A fun, if thoughtful, look at one of gaming's great series.
