    Nonsensical
Too much going on all at once fast talking with mumbling and poor, audio quality combines for a lackluster, listening experience.

    Poor audio quality
I will echo what others have said. The audio needs to be fixed. Just some basic audio leveling between the extremely loud logo bumper at the beginning and then between the voices. It’s not hard people. Google it. I can’t listen to this while biking or doing dishes or anything where the background noise is moderate. Sorry to sound rude but I like the information otherwise. this really shouldn’t be an issue with todays software that can do this for you with the click of a button.

Very informative podcast about gaming news
The recording could be a little better but honestly the podcast is one of the best for keeping up with games industry news particularly from a European perspective

    Great topics, AWFUL audio
I love the conversations, knowledge, and discourse these guys bring to the table. But good god it is so hard to hear them, especially Chris. Every episode they are so soft-spoken and so muffled that I need to crank the volume, only to have my ear blown out by a random spike in volume. I’ve quit several episodes because I just can’t hear you guys. You gotta fix this.

    Audio needs help
Love this podcast but the audio levels are very bad. Hoping to see it improve, lots of good talks had here

    Great content, terrible quality
As someone who works in the industry, it’s incredibly frustrating that this podcast is one of the best for news and analysis, but is nearly unlistenable due to the audio quality, between background noise and muffled voices. You guys have been doing this for years - invest in a microphone and turn off your Outlook chimes for half an hour!

Audio quality is a big problem
They need to fix the audio level of one of their hosts, it’s almost unlistenable

Game industry? Where is the that talk?
I am four episodes into this and over three hours of listening, and I have heard, almost no talk about the video game industry. Mergers. Acquisitions. Accounting practices. Lawsuits. Marketing. Monetization. New trends. Innovative ideas. Getting the most out of creative talent. FUN GAMES. Where is the podcast about these things? Instead, we have a group of in the media who can’t be bothered to cover the topic they’re supposed to cover because they are too busy self congratulating themselves for being interested in, what? You guessed it. Social justice. Meanwhile these hacks have nothing intelligent to say about the very topic they are supposed to be an expert on. If you are looking game industry talk, keep looking. less than 15% of every cast is about the actual topic.

Don’t listen if you are a white male
Three episodes in, and I haven’t heard one episode where they aren’t dunking on white males and generalizing us till the cows come home. I work in a diverse focused videogame company. Yes we hire a minority every time if they are equally qualified and I think it makes our teams great. In the last 20 years I’ve seen many companies make big strides away from a homogenous workforce. What is very hard, is to find qualified people of color and female to meet the desired diversity split. When I was in college, our CS program was 90% white male, 5% female, 5% minority. Yeah it’s tough to get a 50/50 male/female

    I’m sorry
I’m sorry this Jeffrey kid seems like a nice guy but he legit cannot talk. Every time he starts a point he seemingly abandons it midsentence and then starts a whole new thought so that it’s impossible to follow what he’s trying to say. Even the other cohosts seem befuddled as to what point he’s trying to make. Maybe he’s just young and nervous, but he needs a lot more coaching before he can be a podcast regular as it makes it really laborious to listen to. Also persistent audio issues that should really be fixed at this point.

    Too long and poor quality
These should be 30 minutes tops. Sound quality for UK hosts is very poor. Brendan and Chris are by far the sharpest on the team. Jeffrey seems to, “you know,” largely state the obvious. Also… is this a business podcast or a social justice podcast? Stay in your lane or else you’ll lose the one thing that makes you distinct from other media outlets. And waaaay too much of an obsession with Nintendo.

    Great Show, Poor Audio Quality
Love the content, but the poor audio is so distracting. I just finished an episode where I heard children in the background and a person that kept touching on mic.

    Behind the Curtain
To get it out of the way.. Absolutely, the audio quality is below what some would expect from a “professional” podcast. Beyond that, it is safe to expect an interesting breakdown of the industry by an eclectic group that values supporting opinions with evidence over blind internet culture love/nostalgia. A buried treasure of a podcast! 👍
