Mme BlinkAudio is trashEverything is excellent in this podcast except for one very important thing: the audio quality. It’s absolutely insulting. Please improve the audio quality, it’s not even hard to do! Or please hire a sound engineer.

Liloubelle84Great content, fast speakerRecently tuned in to a couple of episode and although I loved the content, I found it difficult to keep up with how fast they speak. I tried slowing down the podcast but it just made them sound loopy and drunk LOL.

JoeyinAzUsed to love this podcastI’ve listened for years on my morning commute and have LOVED it. Lately though, the guys are just unprepared to actually speak about their subject matter. It’s moved from listening to experts to hearing a random conversation two guys are having about something they think they heard or may or may not be possible true. For example, todays was around the presidental debates and they thought they heard Kamala was ditching out on the debates with Trump and then how Warren Buffet dumped either all or half of his shares in Apple. It was painful. They are super talented and it’s been a joy listening to them in the past but I just can’t handle the unprepared commentary. I’ll try listening again in a few months to see if they’ve started doing some more research before they press the record button. Seriously, just dump a couple articles on the things you want to talk about into Claude or ChatGpt and use its summary.

FoodieintheSouthBest Digital update! If you think you are a digital marketeer, social media expert or just want to keep up on all things digital, this is the podcast for you! I learn something new every podcast.

Savas IIThis is not a Podcast, this is a commercialAll 5-star reviews must be paid actors. There’s no way anyone enjoys a 10-minute podcast with 8 minutes of commercials. This isn’t a marketing education podcast; it’s just one big commercial! :D

Ejf11118888Sometimes i start my day with it.It’s a great pod. It was better when it was shorter. Content seems to have changed from actionable items to do in your marketing to just whatever they feel like talking about. A lot of talk about how great they are and how much their businesses are worth now. The show has gotten longer - maybe because of the addition of ads, i get it… monetize where you can, but can you please get rid of that insanely annoying kid ad for LinkedIn! Please!

Katy OldsPeople just want educationNeil’s banter is annoying
-
PrincessPeach81I unfollowedTheir episodes just became a huge simp fest for Elon Musk. We get it, you love the guy. These hosts used to be quality marketers with good tips, now it’s just gross.
-
Thannon10Turn OffI was never high on Eric but I listened for years but the last few months the gushing over Trump, Carlson and Musk are a total turn off. There is an absolute line and you can't cross it. Hitler, Jim Jones and others were good at it as well, but they should not be celebrated. Hit unsubscribe on all newsletters, youtube and podcast. Do better.

scootervm71Never miss an episode!I usually start my day with the podcast. I love the short format and it’s always packed with great info. And, Eric and Neil are so authentic and fun that it’s an easy listen.
-
RenBenMTurns your commute into a classroomThese two turn my daily commute into a daily class. I learn so much each day. Thank you Neil and Eric for sharing your wisdom!
-
DanielleBJacksonPolitical fawning? The marketing content can be helpful sometimes, but the way that Eric is constantly fawning over people like Trump and Musk is really odd. It would be nice if he just stuck to offering strategy and insights, instead of unnecessarily glorifying problematic leaders every other episode. Neil seems to be the more mature, level-headed one, so it’s nice that there’s balance. But please, just stick to marketing.
-
Scott HeitMarketing is coolI listen to this podcast every day for insights and expert advice on marketing. I mean marketing is cool, right? And marketing school is a great resource to hear all the cool stuff that is happening across the industry. If you are a business, owner, or a marketer, you should definitely tune in to Marcus school with Eric and Neil.

D St. AmantGet your daily hustle culture fixThey release daily episodes that don’t offer actionable advice and feel like a waste of time. They emphasize the hustle culture and profits, but there’s little learning for the listener. Constant ads interrupt the episodes. Advice: Focus on quality, not quantity. Give each episode more thought and substance instead of spitballing each day just to get content out.

TBake79WeakJust listened to my first episode - yr in review…and got nada. Then started listening to the google ad words and was just spouted out a bunch of rev things - yeah, shocker, reason why google is involved in multiple anti trust lawsuits right now….sorry, gave this a go and content seemed lacking to me…
-
Tom R. S.Great info - too many adsI love the podcast and the material but way too many ads that interrupt the middle of the episode and often the middle of a thought. They beg for 5 star reviews at the end of each episode but don’t seem to care about the listeners experience.

mrvalueadAmazing Marketing Content ✅🦾🪑👊🏼🙌🌎💪🏼🤝🧠📱I’ve been a loyal listener over the past 6 months or so. Not only have these guys made me so much better at not just marketing but #BUSINESS In general but the time I’ve spent listening I feel has made me a better person! Thank you guys! ✅🦾🪑👊🏼🙌🌎🧠🤝💪🏼📱👔

SpivRGreedy sellouts now - such a shameUsed to be a great podcast. But got very greedy and sold out to the sleazy podcast advertising industry with dynamic ad insertions. Now ads are being injected into the feed without them even knowing what or who is advertising just for a bigger share of the mighty buck. This is what is destroying good podcasts.
-
Mr Value AdTop TalentI’ve listened to every episode for the past 250 days. Haven’t missed an episode and have gone back and listened to more. -
MikeLendaDaily Marketing Knowledge NuggetsI’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple months now regularly, I appreciate the fresh timely content and banter between what is important, interesting and relevant.
-
JCASEAAmoral?I’ve listened to these guys for a few years. Often helpful. But I’ve realized they don’t see beyond the business to earn money. They seem unaware of huge forces that are moving towards things that will certainly ruin their businesses one day, and more importantly freedoms and a quality of life for their children, and children’s children. These guys embrace technology without concern for humanity, without any apparent thought for the downsides. It’s all about now to make money. AI will be like all new technology: good and bad. The automobile is fantastic. The automobile can kill. Regulations help, but not always. Humans make the difference. And these two humans are shallow, thoughtless, profits-first humans. I’m increasingly skipping what they say, and moving onto more intelligent and deeper communications about AI, Elon Musk’s Twitter, and other important topics.

dob seldomvichJust okThat’s really it. It’s an ok podcast which I thought would be better. This podcast tends to be all over the place so it’s hard to really feel like I “learn” anything. Each episode comes across as a jumbled freestyle and the hosts just speak from their knowledge, often leaving each episode incomplete or not concise. This show would be a lot better if it was a well planned episode each day which looks to address a topic clearly and thoroughly, and delivered in a manner which feels as such. Last point is small but really wore on me, the intro and outro of the show feels very cheesy for marketing experts. I’d expect something more slick and suave for a duo with their palmarés. Mixed with the poor audio quality of every episode, I just don’t trust the hosts. If this podcast was about something other than marketing I’d be more forgiving, but with these little nuances, I don’t enter each episode with confidence in the hosts.

Zach Even - EshAWESOME & Actionable Marketing InfoGreat pod that is always to the point with powerful, effective and actionable information that you could implement after listening to every episode 🏆🏆 Thank You 💪💪

PlanodanDefinitionsI understand most of what you are talking about, but not all, especially new social media functions not yet mainstream. This gpt stuff is deep for us newbies, but we want to learn about it.

Felipe desde CDMXThis is my go to marketing podcastI’m a CMO and this podcast is invaluable. I like the long form episodes. Would like more of them each week.
-
AmyDickersonBro-y Keyword SoupNot actually actionable, relevant, or on important topics. They just repeat meaningless keywords over and over again, advertise their other businesses under the guise of “advice”, and don’t provide actual value. They have the vibe of Musky tech bros who haven’t touched grass in ages or spent any time with real people in the real world. No concern for the impact of their actions on other people, including their own employees. They give me Michael Scott, totally oblivious, always giving meaningless speeches, and terrible to their employees vibes.
-
clamoutAll fluff, not usefulThis podcast has zero substance. The titles are enticing, but once you start listening you’ll realize they’re very misleading. They basically repeat the title and show notes and provide little else. Nothing is actionable because they don’t delve into the subject at all. It’s as though they’re simply reading headlines and you’re left hanging. The show is basically a platform for advertising and self promotion. A total waste of time that ultimately hurts their credibility.
-
rivkacohenGreat podcast!I love that the podcast is bite size nuggets. I can listen to it on my way to work and gain valuable insights
-
Nothing wrong with fun flickRepetitiveThey tend to rehash topics frequently. Including that they think Elon is a genius. Once a week they remind you how much they trust Mr. Musk. 🙃
-
haoxcmdnabkickdWashed OutHalf the content is used for advertising. Other half repeats the same point. Don’t waste your time.

Health_ CoachPracticle information on the go!Very enjoyable, lightweight podcast episodes packed with practicle information on the go!

Alonso w/Victoria 21Neil is the real DealI have used tools Neil have recommended many years ago and helped me so much. Thank you Neil.
-
BenchairmanPretty bad, because1. The Intro and commercial takes longer than the few paragraphs they talk. 2. It’s a typical marketing strategy to aim for visibility & ranking to serve the Apple Podcast engine. It reflects that they don’t like doing / creating podcast anymore. You guys lost the spirit! Therefore, I am out!
-
Chris_audienceGreat show! One of the best podcast on marketing out there. Period. This show is really good. Highly recommended!
-
malfoxleyGreat show!Eric and Neil, hosts of the Marketing School podcast, highlight all aspects of digital marketing and more in this can’t miss podcast! The hosts and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!
-
Mini Makes ItVery easy listen and very actionableI have been listening for years but I use overcast and have never really got a chance to come here and leave a review. I have a long commute so I find these podcasts a little too quick but I am sure for the average listener that would be a huge plus. Eric and Neil work well together.
-
Connor22!Easy and to the point!I love this podcast because of its format. Sort episodes on topical subjects. Their is show notes and they are titled accurately so you can jump around to what is relevant to you at the moment. I am just starting my career in digital marketing and management so any tools they talk about and strategy is super helpful!
-
Mocha MonaQuick and informativeI love listening to this podcast every morning before I start my work - marketing day. Great marketing advice and down in a couple of minutes!
-
Potato_is_goodGreat show! This podcast is as easy to follow and comprehensive as it is informative and valuable. Neil and Eric do a great job of breaking down their topics in a way that is enjoyable to listen to, and they each have a great deal of advice and marketing expertise to share with the people!
-
galaxyhero123Great Podcast!I love this podcast. The episodes aren't too long and these guys teach great marketing skills.
-
N_5466Very informative!Episodes aren't too long and the hosts offer tons of useful information to help people in what can be a very intimidating field! Would definitely recommend people check them out.
-
hawk0209Production has declinedI enjoyed the short format but recent episodes have declined. The audio is poor, the intro is broken, it skips around, and it seems more like they had a phone conversation then edited it into little podcasts. Yes, I know they are using clubhouse but, with that, it seems subpar now.
-
JenNippsOnlineBite-Size, High Value InformationI am typically intimidated and somewhat overwhelmed by marketing. This podcast gives me information I need in actionable ways without adding to the overwhelm. That’s always a good thing.
-
ParadisePecanWay Too ShortThese episodes are way too short. The purpose of podcasting is to listen to deep content for at min 30 mind and ideally 1 hr. A five min marketing spot is annoying. For someone who focuses so much on long form content marketing by writing I am surprised that Neil Patel would put his name on this short form audio content.
