Perfect clip to show the fun & ‘go with the flow’ vibe of the show
A perfect clip that embodies how fun the show is & how great Jim & Matt are together: 5/20/24… **Taking a call from Arturo, the president of WOWfc, a new MMA promotion in Spain— Jim: “Hello Arturo, can you hear us??” Arturo: “I definitely can. Thank you Jim.” Jim: “Ok good. Welcome to the show.” Matt: “HOW ARE YOU?” Nice to meet you, Arturo” Arturo: “My pleasure, I’m 47…” Matt: “NIIICE!” Jim: (In a confused tone) “You’re 47??” Matt: “Look, I often start conversations with my age too…I’m 49 & I have ABS, so I’m happy about that. I’ll tell you right now, Arturo…. ARTURO!? How long have you been promoting??” **After typing it all out, it doesn’t read as funny as it is listening Live, but I kept skipping back & listening to it all over & over to make sure I wrote everything out correctly & I legit couldn’t stop laughing every single time I heard it! 🤣🤣 The bottom line is that Jim & Matt are legitimately friends in the real world & you can definitely tell by the hilarious banter between them in every episode. Plus they bring out a different side of the fighters & personalities they have on each episode. It’s definitely in my top 6-7 podcasts that I listen to every week for sure.

Love Matt Serra, but that little bug eyed freak Jim Norton is just such a hack…I won’t listen unless they replace Norton-

Matt and Jim have great chemistry!!
New listener here… I never knew how funny Matt Serra was until he went on Rogan’s podcast recently, and ever since then I decided to start listening to his UFC podcast with Jim Norton. I’m happy that he went on JRE, because ever since then I’ve been listening to UFC Unfiltered show… and so far so good! Jim has done XM radio for a long time, and his experience makes the show much easier to keep up with for audio-only listeners that aren’t seeing what those who watch the video show get to see.

    Great Show
Jimmy is hilarious and Matt is funny too. So good to hear a show that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Also kudos for having the balls to have Trump Jr on. Doesn’t mean I like him, just means I hate cancel culture. There’s no plane for that in the media.

    Still terrible
I used to like this a lot, but Norton's wannabe Howard Stern act start to whittle away at my temper. I ended up despising Norton, as a no-talent hack who owes his entire schtick to Howard. It's probably been 1 1/2 since I listened, but I wanted to hear if Matt paid any tribute to Anthony Johnson (RIP). As soon as Norton made one of his attempted, self-deprecating jokes, my blood pressure shot up and steam came out of my ears. He is weak in all regards. Back to Chael Sonnen and the Anik/Florian Podcast. Both are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Listening to Matt is so annoying.
Love Jim Norton but trying to listen with Matt Serra is painful. He talks over everyone that’s on the show including Jim. Matt talks 95% of the time about nothing. So annoying. Two stars only because Jim Norton is so nice to listen to.

    Lawn Guyland represent!
It’s been years since I lived on Long Island, but hearing Matt Serra always brings me back home. Really good banter between two guys who are wise to the game. Honest and true to its word, unfiltered.

Show is usually great / din Thomas episode sucked
The din Thomas episode was awful. This show is great when Jim and Matt are on

    Going downhill
I have enjoyed this podcast over the past 2-3 years or so, “little bird” Norton has great chemistry with Sera, who is such a silly fun person. But over the past year it seems they often do the show separately and even though the guests are entertaining the show has declined in my opinion. The final straw for me is when the UFC booked Trump Jr. with his mouthful of lies to be a guest on the show. It would be nice if MMA could try to stay out of the pig ’s trough which is American politics. IMO.
  • bizzlebutt
    Love you guys
Seriously, you guys put Trump Jr on the show? That was just a bad decision.

    Long time fan
The episode with Megan Olivi was an absolute gem - hearing a woman’s side of working in/with the UFC was sooooooo good.

    Football talk instead of mma
This is usually a good podcast but when they put non mma athletes on it, it’s garbage. We are here for mma

    UFC unfiltered
Serra is a likable character and an MMA legend but he has become one of - if not THE worst podcaster/hosts in sports media. Sadly it’s become increasingly worse each episode and despite getting good interviews with fighters I want to hear from or learn more about the show itself is unlistenable.

Matt Serra is a hidden gem
The guests range from UFC fighters, athletes from other sports, actors, comedians, entrepreneurs, and more. Jim Norton does a great job at keeping the show on course and has a very funny self deprecating sense of humor. Matt does a tremendous job at keeping you entertained. Matt Serra’s singing and constant silliness is the best part of the show. He is high energy, funny, and genuine. I listen to all kind of podcasts from Rogan to dateline to Joey Diaz, to Conrad Thompson podcasts and a few sports podcasts but this is absolutely the podcast that I never get burnt out on and have listened to religiously since it came out so I can definitely say that it is my favorite podcast. I highly recommend it.

    What’s going on?
I love the banter back and forth with Matt & Jim. Matt is truly an authentic human being.lI love Matt’s relationships with Din and some of the other guys he fought. Now I have to ask…… what did your audience, who is tuning in for mma talk , do to you , that we get a friggen bachelor interview? Seriously? You guys need to stop bringing on completely useless guests on the show. NOONE CARES!!! STOP IT!

Don’t care about ufc but loved becoming a fighter
A friend recommended the bonus episode and I hope you do more!!! My boyfriend is obsessed with ufc and now we have something in common! Impressive storytelling and so interesting! Just listened to the latest Becoming A Fighter with Leon and loved it! Finding its voice and can’t wait for more episodes!!!!

    Sorry Matt...
I think when they have others on the show, it ends up much better! Matt doesn’t know very much about the current landscape of what’s going on in the UFC! He’s Dana’s buddy and a great guy it seems but, the show can do with our him! Sorry...
  • Louiskri
    Great Show But…
Great podcast as always! Matt and Jim are great together, but please do not have any more Baseball players on. Baseball aka America’s pass out time is so boring and the players are pretty dull too. Thank you!!

    Crying much
Way to go Matt! Great show, always fun hearing a grown man cry like a baby. Half an hour about you being butt hurt. What could be better? Oh maybe how bad aljo looked and how he had nothing for yan except failed takedowns. He’s lucky he’s got the belt because that was pathetic. Good luck keeping the belt.

I almost don’t want to listen anymore.
This is a great show honestly it’s very well put together and it’s got a lot of stuff that UFC fans are interested in but there is a line drawn between when somethings right and somethings wrong. There is one particular thing that Jim Norton has said that has really made me not wanna listen to this podcast anymore and I’m steered away from it the most recent podcast was when he was talking about Max Holloway after his outstanding win against Calvin Jim‘s take on that fight off and it made zero sense at all I really don’t think it was thought through and also of course Matt was absent in that episode. It’s very hard to disagree with someone who has been a part of the fight game for several years but it’s very easy to disagree with someone who hasn’t even done the closest thing to a combat sport. I can’t rate this show one out of five stars because it’s a very good show but some of the things that Jim says is so far off it’s just an enjoyable for me to possibly hear anything more stupid and of course Matt doesn’t jump in to correct him if someone is going to cover MMA on a podcast they need to know what they are talking about and understand The sport it’s almost like Stephen a Smith covering UFC the man is just not in his lane. After watching Max Holloway be the absolute piss Calvin Kattar for 20 minutes how can you even come up with the idea that Calvin has a shot at coming back and winning how in the heck did that thought even cross your mind thinking that fight shouldn’t have been stopped In the 3rd round? Jim the score cards were 50-43.... I think 99% of the viewers will agree that nobody saw Calvin ever even having a chance on coming back after that third round but somehow you did?

    Not a podcast anymore
It used to be a great show I loved it since 2018 ,lately it has turned into a boring interview recording, no longer a show. We came for Jim and Matt talking, joking and analyzing fights guests are just extra to the fun. If I wanted to hear only guests I would just look up the guests online. This is an edit from 5 stars.

    GREAT Pdcast
My favorite MMA podcast. Not only is there high knowledge of MMA (mainly from Matt) but every episode is amazingly funny due to Matt’s and Jimmy’s funny personalities that click well together. I listen to every episode and not one has been boring to me.

    Decent
Decent podcast. Huge fan of Jim for him is 5 stars but Matt drops it down to by -4. I dislike the burping into the mic of Matt. Matt also is a bit of a hypocrite. Hates Ariels (mma journalist) instigating though it’s true he has done the same thing on this podcast. Asks fighters what they think about thrash talk quote that their opponents said about them. There’s too many better options for MMA podcasts.

    Outstanding Podcast
I have been a big fan of Matt Serra since 1999. His popularity started to take after his impressive Ultimate Fighter 4 tournament. Matt is a legend in the MMA community & one of the most highly accomplished JJ practitioners, a true pioneer of the sport. I absolutely love his podcast & always listen when he speaks. Overall, this show is an absolute hit, always smash like, subscribe & give these guys a 5* review. I hope they are around forever. Keep up the great work. Brad
