Five star because you had Wade MacNeil on!
  • Papatheosis
    Very Interesting
Just listened to the interview with Grant Morrison and am a huge GM fan. Never heard of the show before this, but will definitely be subbing and hope to hear more esoteric, philosophical, and magick related conversations in the future!

    Best long-form interviews w/ musicians
Finally, interviews that the musicians themselves seem to really delve into and actually sound like themselves — raw, relatable, and even “woo-woo” or “tin hat” at times. More, please.

    Well made!
A great podcast to listen to and have a laugh!

A nice calm listen and insightful
I appreciate the interview style and the silence that comes along with genuine conversation. It’s raw and I do enjoy what I’ve heard so far. My only ask to the host is to consider a more diverse guest panel. I’d love to hear more women, etc., share their POV within this industry.

    amazing work!
here's a guy that has insightful conversations with some of the most interesting artists in the world. and we get to listen in. How he even GOT alan moore to sit and discuss his creative process, magick, and more - for two hours! - I cannot even imagine. And then there's everyone else. Listening to this will make you more interesting.

    Great,
This guy goes deep and is super likable, which is actually really rare . Great guests too. Check it out

    Hidden gem of music podcasts
The amazing guests on the show are astonishing. From Chino, Jacob Bannon, Billy Corgan, Ben Weinman, the list goes on. Amazing mixture of underground and “mainstream” guests give a unique perspective on the music industry and artists in a long form version. Really cool podcast.

    Good work
Good brother, I really like your show. I like that it’s a almost raw interview with artist that you respect or admire for their work and I really like the free flow of the show not just a Q&A and that’s it. So respect and keep doing what you do!!!

    Well Thought Interviews
I first discovered this podcast when Daniel interviewed Chino Moreno. It was right before GORE was getting ready to be released, so I was excited to hear this interview. I thought Daniel did a fantastic job of doing the research to make an interesting and well thought interview. After that I continued to follow SWIM because I like a lot of the guests he has and the way he conducts interviews.

    10/10 must listen
I have so much respect for this dude as an artist and for his championing of heavy/intelligent music, and I think these podcasts could arguably be his best work yet. The inevitable delve into mysticism/spirituality/occult with such brilliant artists and their conversations on creativity (and how they tap into it) are absurdly inspiring. Thanks for these sir, looking forward to many more.

    Fascinating
The guests are generally musicians/singers, but this is NOT just a "music podcast". The discussions about album artwork and other visual arts are always really insightful too. And the episode with Dan from Architects is just really powerful all around.

    Been waiting for this content
Have been wanting someone to go have conversations of this nature and gravity level with these exact people for ages. Dig all of these observations and there is plenty to relate with but more to learn! Brilliant man! Also, having dealt with loss and grappling with these topics at various points in life (unfortunately or fortunately) I really appreciated and wanted to say thank you and I sincerely mean that to: you, Dan, Mr. Robinson, and all other guests. This is brilliant.

    Great podcast!
So easy to listen to this show! Awesome to get to know the musicians I love in such an intimate way

    CHECK IT OUT
Re: Episode 18 - thank you, Dans. "Never, never lose sight of what you started it for."
  • Ottoriff
    Great Show!
I really enjoy this podcast, Daniel makes it feel like a conversation rather than an interview, which makes it a interesting listen.

    Great Music/Art Podcast
If you are a nerd for music, art, or conversation about art in general, this podcast is definitely worth your time. The conversations are genuine, and are usually with really unique people. DPC is a fan of all his guests, and the sincere respect that comes between the artists discussing whatever is on their mind is a real treat. My only complaint is that it does take a while for new episodes to come out (usually about a month or two between). Which is understandable, DPC is a busy guy with his art, BBC radio show, his bands, etc. It's just a bit of a bummer to have to wait so long in between episodes, but a small inconvenience for great material.

The music interviews I've been seeking
Daniel does what I've wanted to hear for a long while in music entertainment. He fills the spaces between. If you've been interested in breaking away from the stereotypical music interview questions then this podcast is for you. Additionally, if hard rock music for the intellectual is your wheelhouse then he's firing on all cylinders with is wide array guests that span the genre. Thank you Daniel, keep it up this labor of love man!

    Awesome Rock/Art Show
Love this program. I grew up listening to these artists and it's fun listening to them talk abut their craft and interests. Carter the interviews and curates the program well. Keep 'em coming!
  • Angryblue
    One of my favorites
These conversations are perfectly curated to my interests as a music and art nerd. The only downside is that I'm all caught up and need more! Great casual fascinating banter.

    This Podcast Rules
A podcast that covers so many things that I love! Heavy music, art, comic books, & magic. I LOVE this podcast. I can’t wait to hear more. Thanks for putting it together. Keep it up.

    Shout out to DPC
Daniel P. Carter is one of the best around. Believe it.

    Excellent and Unique
So far all of the interviews have been great and the guests have been interesting. Please keep new episodes coming. Thanks

    Cool show
This is a fun show to listen to! BUT the host needs to stop saying LIKE every other f'n word. Makes it painful to listen to at times.
