Jez, a European who lives with his girlfriends parents, and Rand, a semi-active YouTuber who may or may not live in his parents’ basement, join forces to lick Microsoft juice off of each others faces. Jez will wax poetically one moment about the perils of capitalism, while defending Microsoft’s business practices in the next. Rand from Chicagoland tries to play the straight man, but criticism of his love of walking simulators such as Hellblade 2 and his excitement for games with “recasting” such as Alan Wake 2 often vexes him. Either way, don’t touch their no no squares by suggesting that Microsoft is moving towards becoming a multi-platform publisher and away from being an exclusive video game platform.

Not only do they cover the most relevant topics but there’s really a strategic bent to it, giving you insider institutional knowledge regarding how Microsoft and Xbox brass tend to think and act in this wildly lucrative but at times volatile business. Not only that they’ll discuss what games they’re playing or what’s good, what’s coming out. It really gives a unique view into the business of Xbox gaming and the love of gaming overall. Was looking for a podcast just like this and listened to a few before thing this one and have been listening faithfully ever since. Pass the Mayo!

This show continues to blow me away. Not only is it the best Xbox podcast but is quickly becoming if not has already become the best gaming podcast out there. Rand and Jez are such humble individuals and they continue to hit new heights with interviewing industry veterans and having such respect for all gamers and developers. This show is such an amazing listen each week and I recommend adding it to your weekly listen.

This is the best podcast available for sure. Jez and Rand have the best amd most balanced discussion about gaming. I had to unsubsidize from Mr boomsticks channel since the toxic, one sided anti Playstation discussion became a bit trite and one-note after a while. If you're not interested in cheerleading Xbox while sideswiping Playstation, that place will wear you down quickly. At any rate, good luck with your new PC Rand and I look forward to placing a face with voice once you get your Webcam all set up hahaha. This is the second time I’ve tried to listen to this podcast… and Rand is a whiny, immature, little man. He’s really hard to listen to. The co-host on the other hand is really good.

I started listing on a whim, and wholly smokes I’m glade I did! I played just a ton of video games growing up, but not so much in the last few years. But these two got me hyped to start playing again! Also, drunky Jez is an absolute gift to humans!

I got Xbox one X 3 or 4 years ago during a Black Friday sale and it has been the best investment because if I waited for the next gen series S or X then I would have been wait forever due to shortages and waiting lists. Forza horizon 5 run well except for 1 or 2 min load times. Apex runs great. I still can not justify the Xbox series S or X when my Xbox one X is running strong if a little slow.

Most Xbox podcasts talk about the news. This Xbox podcast creates the news (you see what I did there?) 😁

Highly recommended any one who loved gaming listening these two guys since 2017 always honest never biased about Any platform!! Always talking about updated news!! If you want leaks get jez drunk lol and rand don’t know what is real sandwich is so you can tell him about food as well but other then always put on Amazing show !! Enjoy

Rand “ the Popeye “ al thor and Jez “ the Boozehound “ Corden are the best host of any podcast periodt. They don’t go around the bush to tell the truth and at the same time , they make the podcast entertaining with their hate for all nintendo and their love for peppa pig 🤣🤣.

Great show, Rand and Jez didn’t exactly sit with me at first. But they stick with their views and both won me over! Now my main source of info when traveling for work.

I just had Mayo and fries jez, it’s not great, it’s basically whipped eggs on fries, but great podcast!

I love the show but I really wish you guys would update this “weekly” when the new episode releases. What’s the point of updating it “bi-weekly” when one of two episodes is outdated already.

If Rand could please stop with the stupid stuff (mayo, etc.) and let Jez stick to news and opinion, this is easy a 5 star show. The other junk drags the show out and after the first time, the bit isn’t funny.

It’s OK Rez is a narcissist who decides your a $&@! If you believe there are only two sexes. (Shouldn’t have even been mentioned in a video game podcast) Whines too much about stuff that has nothing to do with video games or the reason for this podcast.

Rand and Jez! What can I say? I’ve known Jez for over a decade, and you won’t find a more passionate and honest Xbox gamer out there. Sure, they lean pro Xbox, but it’s well done. Jez and Rand get inside information about everything Xbox. If you like Xbox, this is one of the best pods. Game on everyone.

Listened to one podcast and couldn't get through it. One of the host goes on to rant for almost 10 straight minutes of “I told you so”, and how is the king of news, etc. Terrible and not professional. You’re credibility should speak for itself and not ranting on it for most of your podcast. Plenty of other great gaming podcasts out there.

I've been listening to a lot of podcasts lately. Unfortunately this one not only doesn't stand out, but the members have been blatantly wrong about several issues. It's a want-to-be professional critic site. For example, they hammer on mass effect for it bugs and cite the Witcher as a perfect game, but Witcher faced atrocious bugs at launch. They definitely don't represent the gamer. That being said there is interesting speculation and good dialogue from what I've listened to.
