    New Mom
I started listening to this podcast a year or two before my daughter was born… not because I intended to listen to all the episodes but because I wanted to listen to one to get an idea of the CM method. Well, my baby girl is 3.5 months old now and I haven’t stopped listening and learning! You ladies make me feel excited and equipped to invest well in the little years as I look to my child’s education. Thank you for making the subject digestible. So thankful for your ministry in sharing knowledge. You are impacting the next generation in ways I can only imagine you’ve prayed for!

    Deep & Meaningful!!!
This is the best podcast for getting a robust understanding of the philosophy and practical application of the CM method!!! I’m so thankful for all the research that has gone into these episodes. I’ve listened to almost all of them and want to listen immediately when I see a new episode is available.

Incredibly informative, inspiring, interesting and life changing
Over the years I heard about Charlotte Mason but struggled to understand what she really taught and how that looks in todays world. Finding this podcast was a literal answer to prayer. This podcast is a Godsend and i feel like my eyes have been opened to a more beautiful, and more deeply rich life. I’m so excited to start using this information and utilize the CM philosophy into my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

    I love this podcast
I have been homeschooling for 3 years and using the CM method for 2. Every time I listen to this podcast, I come away with a full heart and a sense of purpose. All these women are so gentle and generous with their advice for creating a beautiful homeschool, in which our children can flourish. The things I've learned here have brought me immense peace. I know that alone has changed our homeschool dynamic in the best way possible.

    Blessed!
I always feel encouraged and motivated for our lesson time and my "why" after listening. This show is a go-to resource for myself and when friends ask for recommendations. I appreciate all that you ladies are doing and am blessed by it!

    A true gem!
This podcast has been such a gift as I’ve been researching the Charlotte Mason philosophy to immerse our homeschool in next year. The knowledge that these ladies share is invaluable. Highly recommend if you’re interested in learning about a Charlotte Mason Education!

    Actually life changing
I am so grateful to the ladies of this podcast. Charlotte Mason appealed to me from early on once we had decided to homeschool our children, but it felt unfeasible in our environment and situation. I listened to episodes on repeat as I began taking in Charlotte’s words through her volumes. It revolutionized not only our homeschool but our entire family and way of life. Our homeschool is such a joy to everyone in the family. I do a yearly consult with Liz and it helps point me in the right direction every year. We’re in our sixth year and I currently have four students. We now have a wonderful CM community around us and I’ve been able to see the same story play out in others’ lives. If you put in the work early, the days really do run smoothly and easily. ADE makes that doable.

Favorite as a new to homeschooling mom
I love this podcast. My oldest is only 3.5 and I have no history with homeschooling. This is so easy to listen to and so helpful as I start this journey. I started from the beginning and have truly found every episode helpful and inspiring.

    Timeless!
I recently started listening to the ADE podcast again from the very beginning and it’s just as good now as it was years ago when I heard them all new!! These episodes are perfect for revisiting for fresh encouragement and understanding, no matter how long you’ve been studying Charlotte Mason or using her method. I’m so grateful for the help and support these ladies have provided over the years to the Charlotte Mason community!

    Endless thanks!
If you want to know how to do a Charlotte Mason style education… This is the podcast for you! Start at the very first episode, and just gracefully work your way through one, but at the time. They lay it out wonderfully. I was introduced to this podcast in September 2022, and as of today I officially reached the 50th episode, and I’ve made it through the first year of recordings. This podcast has been so life-giving, and also has really helped me develop at a solid framework for Charlotte. Mason style. Education going forward. My oldest child is turning five this next month, and while we have not started formal education, I have found that these preschool years that we are using to work on habit building, and gaining a strong foundation and letter sounds, and just play and observe in nature, these preschool years have been more about me getting an education than anything. Thankfully, I have another year before we will start our formal education, and I intend to continue to work my way episode by episode. You have laid out the Charlotte, Mason education, so well, and I love that I can go to the A Delectable Education website and look at which form, and the subjects within, relate to podcast! That is such a gift and a treasure. I look forward to being caught up on episodes, which is going to take some time, but at the same time, I’ll be a little bit sad, because then I’ll only get one episode a week rather than one (or even two!) a day.

    So Thankful I Found ADE!!!
This podcast has been such a blessing to me! I have been reading Charlotte’s volumes and really wanted to give my children this kind of education for a couple of years now, but I just wasn’t sure how to implement some things or I just needed guidance. I found it here!!! You ladies are so wonderful! Thank you!

    Thankful for ADE Podcast!
I have been reading Charlotte Mason’s volumes for over 2 years but I don’t know anyone who is familiar with her methods. When I found this podcast it was like to getting to have conversations about the Charlotte Mason method that I longed to have with people in real life! I am consistently learning from and being inspired by the ladies at A Delectable Education!

    Always a Favorite
I love listening to ADE. These ladies are incredibly knowledgeable and inspirational. I always take away something to better myself as a homeschool mom as I approach lessons with my daughters. They also paint such a clear picture of what the CM method can look like today. My one complaint is not always easily finding all the great books they recommend in physical form! 😆 Thank you for all you ladies do! I always love listening.

    Love it!!!
I just started listening from the beginning so I wouldn’t miss anything and I’m so glad I did. This podcast clarifies some cloudy areas I’ve had in the implementation of the Charlotte Mason method and gives practical examples in the various subjects she covered, shares many years of wisdom in the ladies’ different home situations, and has given me a deeper appreciation for Miss Mason and this method, giving me a firmer resolve on this homeschool method I’ve chosen for my family. Listening, I am more confident in the hows and whys and such, and therefore more relaxed and less anxious. Thank you so much ADE for this wonderful resource!!

    My favorite podcast!!
I love this podcast because they get to the point (no 10 minutes of small talk first, what homeschool mom has time for that?? :)) and it is SO informative. Their website has tons of valuable information also and is very well organized. I have learned so much about a Charlotte Mason education from these three ladies!!
  • Kimberlee K
    My favorite CM podcast!!
Emily, Liz, and Nicole are so knowledgeable on CM, and they make you feel like you’re chatting about it over coffee in your living room. They make CM accessible and easy to digest. Thank you!!

    Fantastic Free Resource
Such good little snapshots of each piece of the Charlotte Mason Education, and yet in each episode they do such a good job of pointing back to the overarching principles.

If you’re going to listen to one homeschooling podcast.
The information these ladies present is impeccably researched and clearly communicated. Aside from the original volumes of Miss Mason, I’m not aware of any other podcast or resource aside from ADE and Charlotte Mason Poetry that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone curious about CM. My oldest is only four so we have not started formal lessons yet - but I feel truly blessed to have discovered this entire (life-changing) philosophy so we will hopefully get off to a good start in our homeschooling journey. I would love an episode that I could direct friends who are perhaps curious about homeschooling but also overwhelmed with some of the terminology or just the overall prospect of it all and don’t really know where to start.

    Tremendously Beautiful podcast
This has been so good for me at the beginning of my Charlotte Mason journey. I feel blessed to have found this before I formally start with my first child, and I’ve been drinking it all in as teacher training. I love that Emily, Liz, and Nicole are so kind but also clear and precise in their presentation of Charlotte Mason’s method as they understand it based on their reading and research in not only her 6 volumes, but also looking into the catalog of other information available online from the records of Charlotte’s school and magazine she edited. I don’t think I’m catching all of what they’re talking about, because there is so much. But I’m encouraged to start off on the best foot I can, spreading the feast wide, and try to improve a little here and there each term, as I understand better and see where my flaws are. Charlotte Mason’s method is so beautiful and the more I learn about her and from her, the more thankful I am for such a godly woman who put her life effort into loving the little ones in a way that values them immensely, and teaching others to do the same. I am challenged by her deep spiritual life and consider her an amazing role model or inspiration to me in my spiritual walk with Jesus. Thank you for all you do at this podcast, helping with homeschool, encouragement for life, pointing towards prayer and reminding us mother to ask for the help of the Divine Teacher in our efforts and our children’s efforts as they each do the work of their own education.

    Best CM Podcast Out There
I listen to all of these episodes on repeat! I’m beyond grateful for the hours these ladies have spent researching Charlotte Masons method of education and have graciously shared with all of us home educators (or any educator really). This podcast is great for encouragement, the why behind everything we do, and giving super practical advice on implementing these principals in our real life situations.

My Favorite Thing to Listen to
This is truly such an enjoyable podcast! I so look forward to listening to these knowledgeable ladies. I often have to really convince myself to switch to my my other listening/reading needs because it’s so hard to move on from this wonderful podcast. They have spent so much time studying CM and applying it and are a wealth of information. I’m so grateful for them and the podcast they’ve created.

    Excellent resource for
I have two little girls and have been pursuing the Charlotte Mason method from the beginning through various books, podcasts, blogs, curriculums. But this podcast has helped pull it all together for me. These ladies bring decades of experience and research based knowledge as well as a good dose of passion about the CM method, not only for school, but life. I appreciate the podcast as well as other resources and inspiration they provide. We are starting form 1A and “kindergarten” and I am so grateful for ways they have blessed our family by helping us to implement Charlotte’s wonderful philosophy in our home.

    New to homeschooling
I knew I wanted to implement a Charlotte Mason education with my children, but I didn’t know where to start. The school year was approaching, but I didn’t have time to sit and read all 6 CM volumes, so my friend recommended this podcast, and I’ve learned so much! I’m now inspired to get through all of the volumes for myself, but in the meantime I’ve been able to start because of the information I’ve gained through listening!
  • GratefulErica
    Inspiring and very informative
Emily, Liz and Nicole are so passionate and dedicated in helping parents understand the Charlotte Mason method in raising “a born person.” These three moms draw from their experience of adopting CM in their homes, and their many years of reading and internalizing this method, into the podcast to discuss the various topics from the CM volumes. They have helped me understand the CM method in a much deeper level, that it is not simply an act of teaching my children, but a life style that inspires and nurtures their desires to educate themselves. On the show notes, they also present other articles, resources and applicable passages from the volumes, for those who are interested in diving deeper into the topics, so that we can educate ourselves as well.

    Excellent Explanation of CM Education
This podcast has really helped me understand the ins/outs of CM and how to implement her ideas. I am listening to every episode each day as I work in my kitchen so I can gain insight into how to homeschool more effectively in the future. It is very practical and I don’t spend my time fast forwarding! Each word is important!

    An amazing gift to me
This podcast has given me so much hope and so much excitement to homeschool- the Charlotte Mason way. If you’re homeschooling already but have been curious to try something different or if you’re just starting and have a big picture goal but no real roadmap, or if you’re on the fence about Miss Mason’s method, listen! This is a well of information and knowledge and encouragement. It’s been such a gift to me and my journey and has given me so faith in Mason’s way of educating. These ladies pour their hearts into each podcast with quotes, explanations of said quotes, practical tips, stern do’s and don’t’s and resources to equip you on your way. The podcast page has copious notes and is organized in such a way that will be a gift to all- even newbies! How can I ever thank this group enough for sharing their passion with the world? I believe the world is a better place because of these mothers implementing Mason’s methods in their own homes and helping us do the same. A. Must. Listen.

    So inspirational
I am love this group of women and the knowledge that have. I am just starting my homeschooling journey with young children and have listen to so many of their episodes and starting reading Charlotte Mason Volume 1. I feel they have given me such an insight to what it mean to Homeschool Children in the Feast. I have gained so much knowledge and am so happy I found this before my kids started 1 Grade level. I feel so blessed to listen to them.

    An invaluable resource!
I read For the Children’s Sake a few years ago, which solidified my decision to homeschool (yes, I’m in that club), but it has taken me since then to come around fully to the CM method - I think primarily because CM just always seemed like so many moving parts that I felt daunted by the task of planning a year. However, ADE puts everything into a workable perspective, and has given me the confidence to dive into a full CM curriculum. It took me about 4 solid months to work my way through the whole series to the current episode (188), while simultaneously reading the CM volumes and sending questions to the ladies via FB when i felt confused (they always respond - THANK YOU!). I took notes along the way, saved MANY books to my GoodReads account, purchased the curriculum template and other recommended resources, and slowly but surely compiled our year’s booklist and planned our terms. Liz, Emily, and Nicole, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this invaluable resource! I couldn’t have done it without you.
  • CarlsonfaMN
So much encouragement for CM homeschoolers!
After listening (heavily) to this podcast for two months, my confidence in homeschooling my children using CM’s philosophies has increased tremendously. The episodes are true to CM and give such high quality information on how to implement CM at home. I never thought I would choose our books for each subject, but learning the why and how of the PNEU programs through ADE has given me the confidence to do just that! In addition, I’m not worried about “doing enough” or reconsidering every shiny new curriculum set that I see!

One of my favorites, even as a woman!
This is one of my go-to podcasts that I know will always be good, no matter the subject! I am a feminine wife and mom but I find it very interesting to learn more about how men work and other (gender neutral) culturally relevant topics. I really appreciate the interview format, they do a great job asking great questions and keeping the flow up without irrelevant chit chat. Keep it up!
