This is absolutely my favorite podcast. Anisha is hilarious, smart, and insightful; I’m so happy to be a regular listener.

    Always a Wild Ride
Listen. I am Caucasian. I didn’t know what Family Karma was (I miss cable so dearly) until I heard of Anisha. If you think this podcast won’t be relatable for you, think again. I laugh out loud every episode because of Anisha’s charm and straight to the point chat. I also learn a ton. This is the only podcast in my subscribe list where I feel like I come away smarter, but also not bored. It’s like having a chat with your (highly educated) bestie every time a new ep comes on. From pop culture to how to manifest, financial literacy, personal marketing, sports, whatever. This. Pod. Has. It. It’s a must listen. Subscribe or forever have FOMO.

    Fact check?
Babe. Yemen is in Asia (not Africa). Arizona is not the West Coast. Taylor’s Swift’s album is called “Midnights”. Not “Midnight”. Anisha likes to flex that she is a world traveler and credible commentor on pop culture, but she can’t be bothered to get basic facts correct. Nevermind that she speaks of “Africa” as though it is a monolith. The facts are wrong, there is no nuance here, the chai is luke warm at best, and the takes are mid/unoriginal…. and so I find myself not interested in listening anymore.

    Great listen every time
Anisha is unapologetically herself which is something I admire. Her story telling is enjoyable and she’s entertaining and funny! Ive never not enjoyed an episode and always look forward to listening to her pod. Only request is to have Deets on the pod less.. I enjoy the solo episodes a lot more!

    A Blend of Insight
A regular listener of "Currently Cringing" for its engaging content Pros: Insightful Guest: The episodes featuring Aditya are good. The discussions range from the intricacies of dating and marriage to contemporary issues like the impact of drugs like Ozempic, the evolution of AI, and the lifestyle contrasts between living in Arizona, NYC, and Miami. These conversations are not only informative but may also resonate on a personal level with many listeners. Authenticity: The podcast excels when you speak naturally and candidly about your own life's ups and downs. This vulnerability is refreshing and creates a genuine connection with the audience. It's a reminder that success often involves struggle, and that's a powerful message. Cons: The way Monica Vaswani from "Family Karma" was treated - you seemed to gratuitously treat her harshly, cruelly even. Monica strikes many, including myself, as an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and hard-working person deserving of respect. An on-air apology to Monica could go a long way in setting things right, reflecting the graciousness that “Currently Cringing" often embodies. Fact-Checking: There's a certain charm to the hyperbolic stories shared on the podcast, but they can sometimes undermine the show's credibility. For instance, claiming that your family home skyrocketed from $350K to $5M when it's actually valued at around $1.5M today is a significant stretch. Honesty can often be more impressive than exaggerated claims, and sticking to the truth would enhance the integrity of your narratives. In summary, "Currently Cringing" offers a lot of what makes podcasts great: relatability, spontaneity, and heart. It's a worthwhile listen that, with a bit of tweaking and mindful interaction, could become not just good, but exceptional.

    Funny and entertaining
I'll start off with saying that respectfully , Arizona is not the West coast. It has no coastline. As someone from California I can confirm that 😂 The show is funny and I love listening about the travel stories. The show does not brag to be an inspirational or educational pod so all the people complaining about it being entitled etc need to take a chill pill. It is about the life of a woman as she lives it and I love that about it. Keep the episodes coming! PS : Yes Deets is extremely delulu when it cones to dating and women but that's why it is hilarious lol.

Love that Anisha keeps it real! In todays world it’s hard to find a millennial podcast that is honest and from the heart. Not to mention hilarious as well!

    Amazing, funny, and relatable!
Maybe I’m biased because I’m a South Indian girl and I feel like I had a very similar upbringing to Anisha but this podcast is so amazing, funny, and relatable. I feel my soul start to heal a little bit and it’s nice to share some good smiles and laughs! I totally recommend this.

    Very Relatable
I absolutely love the pod. Every episode has little nuggets of information that I can use and relate to. I love when she has her regular guests on that we all look forward to hearing their life updates and that we’re rooting for. So glad that she’s uploaded new episodes as I’ve been catching up from the beginning.

    Love this podcast!
Anisha brings forth relevant issues in the South Asian community and makes these issues relatable to people of all walks of life. She’s funny, intelligent, and has this magnificent way of drawing listeners in. Currently Cringing is a great podcast to listen to if you need advice, need a laugh, or simply listen to while you’re either on vacation or at home smoking the devil’s lettuce. A podcast you’re sure to love!

Spilling the chai with no sharam
Anisha just delivers it all…comedy, commentary, self-reflection, goss, hot takes, interviews, and real talk, all with inimitable wit and delivery. She’s like the best friend you brunch with - you can talk about literally anything, even serious things, and it’s always time well spent. Anisha was authentic before it trended, and she’s exactly the same person in her podcast as she is irl. Totally worth the time!

    Not here for “ditz”
I used to really enjoy listening to Anisha’s perspective, but now that she invites her friend Aditya on regularly I just can’t listen anymore. He comes across as a typical “woe is me” entitled, mansplaining brown male, and I don’t understand why Anisha continues to give him a platform to spew his “truths”. Today, he commented that men “know better” than women that their childbearing chances allegedly decrease 50% after age 30, but he assumed this decrease was due to a decline in women’s fertility. I’m not a woke feminist, but this was too much even for me. You’re both Indian, how hard would it have been to find an ob/gyn in your circle to validate your claims? I don’t live in the same universe as this man, and I don’t want to. And Anisha you were in the 1% even at age 36 and don’t let your “friend” ever tell you otherwise.

    SO Relatable
I’ve been listening to Anisha’s podcast throughout the pandemic and beyond, and find her approach to her business, life, and relationships to be so relatable and so frank. I love how relatable her struggles and triumphs are and her honesty in sharing these stories with the podcast. Her solo episodes hold such valuable life advice and I find her such an admirable role model.

If you’re an ABCD, this one’s for you!
I started listening to the first episode and the last episode and I am hooked. Anisha is such a kind person, she has an amazing candor, and is hilarious. Anisha is really relatable and dives deep to share the experiences she’s had in her life. It is refreshing to hear the life experience of someone similarly aged and from a similar background. Thanks for keeping it real and laying it all out there.

    Funny & real!
I love this podcast because she is so honest discussing her life stories, doesn’t care if she embarrasses herself! I find her refreshing , informative & funny! I listen at night & her voice is very soothing, sometimes I fall asleep , but listen again the morning for anything I missed! I noticed she hasn’t updated any new ones, hope she hasn’t quit! She’s my type of Gal , hope she has her mom on, they are funny together !

    Manifestation episode
Loved this podcast. I have been hearing about this for years and have read some of the books Anisha mentioned. It’s so hard though. Reminders like this and also seeing someone’s manifestations come to fruition is just the push I needed to continue on my journey. Thanks Anisha!

    A gem !
I started watching Anisha in Family Karma. She is so sweet and funny. I just love her family, the cast and am so happy she is just going after her dreams. This is a fun light show with interesting insights and I hope she brings in other cast members to interview and tips on starting a biz and social media etc. A great escape from All that’s going on in the world ! Great Job and thanks !
  • Anjali234
    Raw topics, great interviewer!
Really love how honest and real Anisha is about most topics - it's unique and Anisha has a charisma that makes her a natural storyteller and podcaster. It's enjoyable to hear her speak! She's also a great conversationalist with her interviews. I loved hearing about her freezing egg journey. She's right - this is not the narrative and it's nice to hear a voice in this space. I've only cringed once with her Caroline Stanbury interview when she says she's sOoOoOoo sexual compared to Caroline. It felt like over compensating maybe after being called out by Bali over being outside of today's hookup culture. It was so cringe because Anisha is clearly prudish which is fine, but acting differently is so weird and awkward.
